- Sonia (10/5): Perfect stay & good local links - Modern, very comfortable bed, everything was great. James was great, very good communication and friendly.
Would stay again if the opportunity arises 😊 -
- John (10/5): Great place for the prices - Clean Breakfast not to my liking

- Nick (10/5): A modern well presented the owners have clearly spent a lot of time effort and money on making this B&B quite specia - Modern well decorated and large room
- Stuart (10/5): - Spacious bed room, secure parking, good location The shower should of had a door on as the water flowed over onto the floor
- Wilsonvale (10/5): Room, bed, shower, breakfast, cleanliness all spot on - Perfectly located and easily accessible to Blyth and the surrounding areas. James and the team were awesome, i could not fault the room, parking and breakfast. Will definitely visit again
- M (10/5): Lovely place, just what we wanted. Will book again in the future. - The hotel felt safe and was comfortable and it was lovely to have the breakfast left in the room. I would have enjoyed it more if there had been somewhere to sit and eat the breakfast rather than sitting on the bed.
- Neil (10/5): Great value and ideal for what we wanted from our visit - Excellent and clean. Perfect stay
- colin (9/5): Relaxing after visiting relatives - Clean, comfortable, parking.ease of access All good
- Neil (10/5): Lovely place secured parking nice little touch of stuff left for breakfast - Lovely fresh clean property Nothing
- Sharon (10/5): - Large room very clean and comfortable .
- Tracie ann (10/5): Perfect just what we needed - Was spotlessly clean and perfect location
- Richard (10/5): Lovely warm cosy (perfect) - Everything perfect. I booked because of the sevure carpark im very particular in booking hotels. My van is my pride and this suited it very well Only thing is the fan over run in the bathroom. Switch above door sorts that out though 🤣
- Andriy (10/5): -
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional, clean, comfortable and secure. Well located and reasonably priced. - Clean, spacious room with a ‘continental breakfast’ included. Entry and parking were secure, and the staff communication was exceptional. Wear suitable footwear for the gravel carpark if applicable.
- Mr guy (8/5): -
- Annie (9/5): Great value for money and would stay again if in the area. - Nice, clean and comfortable double room, good shower and breakfast (replenished as required). The host James is on site, is attentive and responds promptly when needed. Free and secure gated parking but on a first come first served basis. Blyth has several free car parks and the closest is literally one street away. Bath mat would've been helpful as shower splashes on floor.
- CHARLES (9/5): -
- rosemary (10/5): Great price for a comfortable stay - Good instructions for arrival and keyless entry. Hallway, stairs and room were clean. Looked as though it has been recently decorated. Breakfast left in room was a good selection and plenty of tea and coffee sachets. Excellent value for what we paid. No toiletries, just hand wash. That's fine but just so you know to bring your own.
- Ted (9/5): Good value, clean, quiet, large room -
- Suzanne (8/5): A very good B&B and would consider staying there again if/when next in the area. Many thanks. - Breakfast was just what I needed as meeting with friends and quite a bit of travelling on our visit over 3 days (Friday to Sunday) plus security both in the front door and my room was good plus not having to worry about an actual key was a serious plus. Cannot think of anything, location was good for my needs.
- David (10/5): Relaxing - It’s a lovey house, warm, safe and comfortable
- Jane (9/5): - Was a useful location for the purpose of my visit.
Enjoyed the comfy bed and cleanliness.
Found the key system different but easy to use (no need of a key to lose). Chose as it had car parking, as a solo female traveller that is important to me but parking is limited, first come first served. However I got lucky every time I returned but I did reccee a free car park nearby which can be used as a last resort.
Bit miffed that a friend who booked after me had a bigger room 🤣.
- Charlotte (10/5): -
- Girts C (10/5): - Nice, clean and very spacious room. Good value for money. I would book again if needed to stay in the area.
- Anita (8/5): it did what it said on the box, clean and comfortable - We haven't experienced this type of breakfast, felt a bit doubtful but actually quite enjoyed it. picture of the property from the main road would have been helpful as well as the rear.
- Iain (9/5): - The area, the property and the room and breakfast Nothing
- Rebecca (10/5): Great room at a good price - Beautiful house, lovely room, very comfortable & spotless. Liked the secure car parking too.
- Bawack Frida (9/5): Extremely clean & comfy - Breakfast was ok and already provided in the room so easy to get. Tea and coffee provided in large quantities so you could have anytime of the day. The location was really great as I could easily get to it because of how easily accessible it was. Security too was amazing and you can’t access the place unless you’re a guess so that was really cool. I must say, the room was comfortable, no noise at all it was extremely tidy. All sheets, towels, duvet, floors and just everything was very clean

- peter (10/5): -
- Markheff (10/5): -
- Paul (9/5): -
- Julia (10/5): - Spotlessly clean, well situated for where we wanted to go , couldn’t fault it
- Colin (8/5): Very nice comfortable room let down by the dirty bathroom. extractor vent. Have stayed here before in a different room - Nice comfy room. Good location Please clean the bathroom extractor fan vent.
- Laurence Kevin (10/5): - A very comfortable, clean, and spacious room. The onside parking was a bonus.
- Geraldine (9/5): - Nicely decorated spacious room. Very comfortable bed.
Central location
- Allen (8/5): -
- Kuohsien (10/5): - Very comfortable!
- Kate (8/5): -
- Ben (10/5): The property is stunning with many of the original features maintained, the space was airy and comfy - Location was great, just off the Highstreet and local to where I needed to be. Only two improvements I could suggest would be USB sockets in the room and more access to soap / shampoo.
- Colin (9/5): Excellent for us and would certainly stay here again. - Didn't really bother with breakfast as don't particularly eat continental breakfast but the choice looked sufficient, Not the fault of the owner but we had a noisy early riser (4am) in the room above who was very heavy footed so we had an early call on both mornings. Would be concerned if we hadn't been able to fit into the car park as locally seemed to be a lot of double yellow lines and residents parking.
- Patrick (10/5): Really please that I stayed there.it was great - It was modern, clean and very comfortable. It was great value for money The only issue is with parking. I didn’t have any problems with it but if they had more people staying, parking would be an issue
- Jacqueline (9/5): -
- Shaun (10/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): - Cleanliness Parking can be difficult at times
- Anne (9/5): Great little stay! - Great property in town centre.
Room was immaculately cleaned.
Will come again. Self check in, wasn’t the best as it was so dark outside trying to get into the property was a bit of a pain.
Having to provide your palm print by the time I was trying to get the code in it was timing out. Also other guests leaving the main door open too!
- Disa (10/5): Good stay. - Good location.
- Shae (9/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - I couldn't access the property but spoke to James who stayed on the line until I got in. Nothing at all. I would book to stay again.
- Paul (7/5): -
- John (9/5): I would definitely book again. - Clean. Great value for money Breakfast
- April (9/5): -
- Paul (6/5): -
- Lamb (10/5): First class B & B - The location is spot on & the room is first class Nothing at all
- Gary (7/5): - Really modern and clean, with secure parking No staff on site! It was all done by self check in. Breakfast was a few random items left in the room.
- Jax (9/5): - This is our second visit 😄 it was just as good as before Everything is good 👍
- Jim (10/5): Very comfortable, ideal location. Spotless interior - Central to everything Very clean, lovely decor. Only thing missing was USB plugs but other than that everything superb.
- Angela (8/5): -
- James (10/5): Great value, immaculate and very comfortable stay - Beautiful and perfectly clean Location signage was difficult to find first of all as I arrived at night
- Rajinder (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Nice touch to have a continental breakfast provided
- Geraldine (10/5): - Lovely hotel.
Beautiful room
- Mark (10/5): -
- Jake (10/5): Great stay would highly recommend :) - Tall ceilings, nice and clean :)
- colin (10/5): Well worth the money, would definitely stay again and advise others to do the same - James, very prompt with answers, made himself available if needed. Professional. Potentially small bottles of shows gel, but grasping at straws
- Lamb (10/5): -
- Mike (10/5): Lovely property met and surpassed all our expectations, would happily recommend - everything was excellent. no issues All was good although the chair in the room had loose fitting, making it unstable to use.
- Mark (10/5): -
- RUCHI (8/5): Lovely stay, comfortable and clean accommodation - Nice and clean and close to beach No shampoo, conditioner or body wash.
Breakfast choice was limited.
- douglas (10/5): Relaxed and pleasant stay near all amenities. - Everything. Location, comfort, excellent continemtal breakfast and tea making. Car park a little difficult to maneuver.
- Julie (10/5): Very relaxing place to lay your head - Very clean and cozy.. great location
- Peter (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): -
- Victor (7/5): - Vriendelijke mensen, nette kamer Heel moeilijk te vinden, lijkt gewoon een woning en staat ook niet duidelijk op het pand zelf. Zelfs buurtbewoners hebben geen idee waar het is.
- Barker (9/5): Great no nonsense clean modern accommodation ideal for work as all you need is very close by, - Continental
- Stegemann (10/5): -
- L.Martin (8/5): Comfortable stay. - The room was spacious, clean & comfortable.
Good shower.
Entry instructions clear & worked. Car parking space is limited.
However, spoke with host James & we worked out an acceptable solution.
- Michelle (10/5): It was a pleasant overnight stay. - Quiet, clean.
- Brian (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Finally - If you are looking to stay in Blyth, I'd urge you to try Wellington House before all others. The room was immaculate, comfortable and quiet. The owner was easily contactable, friendly and helpful.
Your alternatives in Blyth are either complete horror shows, as you'll see from the reviews, or extortionate (£114 for one night, for what is essentially a very noisy Premier Inn).
I'm a regular visitor to Blyth and will be staying here from now on. Finally, a professional hotel worthy of the name in Blyth. All of the alternative places to stay.
- Hooke (10/5): - Modern room, helpful host, good value, clean and well supplied breakfast. Close to shopping area. Would recommend. A couple of extra chairs in the room would be nice.
Signage on building or near to help locate.
- Pascal (9/5): Very clean and comfortable. - Looks new refurbished. High rooms and plenty of space. Comfortable bed. We could eat breakfast in our room, was simple but useful. Very clean! Soft towels. There was no shower gel or shampoo. You hear noise through the ceiling, when someone is walking ond the floor above.
- Stephen (8/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): James made us very welcome, one minor issue with a facility was very quickly resolved without issue. - Gated car parking
Cleanliness, comfortable, modern.
Great location. Early morning wake up call from the seagulls when the windows were open.
- Liz (8/5): Very clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation with easy access and good secure parking - Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Good car park. Shower screen not long enough so floor of bathroom gets very wet.
- Margaret (6/5): Was okay for one night .Did the job - Clean spacious rooms and reasonable cost .Good shower No shower gel or hairdryers.Poor location quite rough/run down and not close to many nice pubs or restaurants .
Cheap quality breakfast items that most of us did not eat
- Paul (8/5): Disappointed. - Breakfast was non existant consisting of "snacks" in the room. I approached the owner who advised that this was advertised but I did not see this on booking.com website. I would not have booked if I had known this. Room was comfortable and clean, ground floor as requested but next to the road. Very limited parking.
- james (9/5): A great base for exploring Northumberland. A really comfy and nice hotel at a really good price - Loved the room! Really well presented and well decorated. The. bed was really comfy loved the high ceilings and the lighting, felt like a five star room at a really good price. Although it was next to a road, I couldn't really hear the noise outside and slept really well. It was really good to have a private secure car park as well The internal soundproofing could be better. I was in a downstairs room and could hear upstairs walking and talking would've been great if the ceiling had some kind of soundproofing to reduce that noise. I think next time I stay I will ask for an upstairs room to see if it is quieter
- skidah (10/5): Perfect! - Very easy access and nice rooms nothing, it was amazing quality and value for money
- Charles (9/5): Amazing value one night stay on the north east coast - Easy self check in, clean, comfy room, handy location and amazing value Nothing to dislike here
- Gerry (9/5): Very nice - Nicely decorated and comfortable Hard to find and parking first come first served but ok
- David (10/5): Great house, great room, great price, great stay ! - Ideally situated for our purpose, visiting family in the area. We liked the security of the gated car park and coded entries to the property and our room. The house has been completely renovated and our room was spacious , very nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotless. The young couple taking care of things there were very friendly and helpful. Extremely good value for money, would recommend the Wellington House without hesitation
