Its literally 5mins walk to weligama beach and on the best road for restaurants! The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy and comfortable and the rooftop is beautifully designed! I loved that every floor had like a big terrace with communal table surrounded by plants, it felt like we were in the jungle and the furniture was so spot on! Very much Aesthetic ✨

- Gaurav (1/5): Bad - Good location. Plenty of nice restaurants close by. Beach close by. The biggest issue - my phone and money pouch got stolen from the room. From a cupboard whose lock was broken. In fact the lock was broken in two places in the room. The room smelled of mold. So they recommended me to leave the windows open...which helped. The cabinet lock was broken as mentioned above but I just assumed by locking the room door it was okay. But before checking out, I noticed my pouch that has my second phone, some cash and cards stolen. Basically they don't have a cabinet that locks, no safe, no cameras anywhere... so you just somehow have to be comfortable with leaving your stuff in the room. Other issues - Towels were old and worn out. Wifi doesn't work in the room. Very basic but I guess that's what you get for the money you pay. The biggest issue is the theft. No way I can recommend this place as it's probably the worst experience I've had.

- Sofia (7/5): Good - Great location and really good value for money. Its super close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around. We booked this super last-minute but staff were friendly and accommodating and allowed us to check-in straight away. There is also a very cute dog :) The night we stayed, there was an extremely loud party right next door which went on til 2am, which was a bit of an issue for us since we had had a very tiring day and mainly booked this place to have a good night's sleep. However, the staff were very upfront and apologetic about it as it seemed to be a disturbance from the neighbors and not the fault of the hotel itself.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Probably the best accommodation in Weligama. Rémi and Suppa, the owners, make you feel right at home. It’s super central, just a few minutes’ walk to the surf spots. The food at their restaurant is also incredibly delicious. All the other staff are incredibly kind, and I couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. I can highly recommend it to anyone! That I had to leave ;)

Room was spaceous, had a Balkon, big showers with a steady stream and it's off the main road. The neighbour hostel played pretty loud music almost all the time. This has nothing to do with Mr mango.

- Jasmine (8/5): Comfortable and friendly in a great location - Great location and a comfortable room. We were a super last minute booking and were still able to check into our room early. Remi was very kind and welcoming. He gave us great advice on surfing and was always up for a chat. We only stayed one night but it was great. Very clean and modern bathrooms. We also used the onsite cafe which was a nice rooftop cafe. Strong smells of varnish or paint, can’t fault the team for trying to keep the property in good shape though.
- Tohar (10/5): Surfers? This is the place you’re looking for - I had a fantastic stay at this place! The location is amazing, just a short walk to the beaches and perfect for surfers. Nearby, there’s an authentic and cozy café called Kopi, which I absolutely loved. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a small balcony and hot water in the showers. There’s also a large café on-site with delicious food, and a rooftop space ideal for yoga sessions. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and the manager, Rémi, was exceptionally kind and helpful with anything I needed. Highly recommended! Would definitely come back! Thanks 🙏🏼🙂

We always felt part of their family, joining them for meals and events. The hotel was also great! It's located in a perfect spot, roomy, and comfy. The best part? Even after we left for another city, they kept helping us out. We're super thankful to Rèmi, Suppa, and their family. The first time I booked just two night, but then I extended to more than 2 weeks. The breakfast is very good. The beach and the surf schools just few steps and many nice restaurant and yoga class around the accommodation. If you prefer the private room with comfortable bed this is the perfect choice. But a little reminder: A lots of party in this area, so sometimes the nights are not quiet. 😉
- Marianne (8/5): Lovely homestay - Very spacious and squeaky clean room and bathroom, as a solo traveling woman I felt very safe and comfortable, the owners and staff were heaps welcoming, helpful and fun, I was a big fan of the included breakfast, it was almost a buffet I’d say. Unfortunately the place was partly under construction, so it wasn’t very quiet during the day in case you wanted to nap or just chill, plus my room didn’t have a mosquito net yet, the mosquitoes must’ve loved that tough :D all in all the place is still in progress, I’m sure once everything is ready, it’s a great place to stay.

Free water refills are available. The location is good. Well located next to many restaurants but on a side street with not a lot of traffic. The location is very good and central but unfortunately also right next to a party place which one evening played very loud music until late into the night. So not recommended for light sleepers.
