• Patti (6/5): Basic, no frills apartment. - Proximity to town and beach. Comfortable beds. Ease of parking on the street. Washing machine. WiFi didn’t work for the whole four days we were staying there. No resolution despite repeated requests. Also, no phone service in the apartment even with a SIM card. Shower was very tight.
• Anna (6/5): No internet - Excellent location, clean and a well equipped kitchen. Lounge and kitchen area was dark and the place was cold on arrival. There was no internet, so no access to TV and no phone signal from the property either. We reported the internet issue on arrival and we were assured it would be fixed but it wasn't fixed when we left 3 days later. The property is managed by a company so we had no contact with the owner who was meant to be sorting out the internet issue.
• Lauren (6/5): Convenient Location - Location was superb, minutes from the harbour and local restaurants/pub. Apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were able to park for free on the street and there were always spaces (not sure if this would be true in peak summer though). The apartment is very dark, due to its location on the back of the block, so brighter lighting would be helpful. It is also fairly basic, especially for the price, with no toaster and limited supplies (limited toilet roll provided). Worth noting that there is very limited mobile reception in the apartment, so if the internet goes down ( it did for 2 days during our stay), you will likely need to go outside to get any signal. This also makes the smart TV fairly redundant. The sofa area and position of the TV make the room not that comfortable to sit in, but with so much to see and do in Mull that wasn't too much of an issue for us. Although we parked easily enough, it's not private parking, so may be something to consider depending on your car.
• Kenneth (7/5): Great location. Pretty good overall. - The location was great. Nice and quiet for our wee one to sleep. A bit dark because it’s behind the main road. This suited us for afternoon naps. The toaster didn’t work and they didn’t replace it during our stay. Also the cot didn’t come with an additional soft mattress. Thankfully our wee one slept okay on it though.

• Leeam (9/5): A fantastic new years. - Beautiful location and the pictures don’t do this apartment justice. It’s modern and comfortable and the owners commutation was great. The living space was cold as noted In previous comments.
• Ismat (10/5): Amazing house,clean and cosy . We love our stay - Just infront of beach and all local restaurants shops were around. House is also cosy , and clean We couldn’t clean as there was not a vacuum cleaner provided neither any long brush to clean the floor

• Christopher (7/5): Good accommodation in a great location - Great location. Apartment immaculately clean and very comfortable Issue with plumbing but sorted same day via Booking.com - on a Sunday! Felt cost of stay was expensive
• Paul (8/5): Clean and spacious, great location but the apartment needs more storage. - Clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and the apartment just right for two. The apartment had little storage for clothing. The kitchen was very good, but there was only one small wardrobe for our clothes, we ended up just living out of the suitcase. The promotion of the apartment implied that there was a view of the harbour. This was far from true in the Puffin Appartment. It did not spoil our visit, but we did have a great view of the bins.

Apartment within a little block Very small and dark also smelt damp. Master bedroom looked out on the wheelie bins

• Craig (1/5): Awful .. - Nothing we left almost right away It’s smelt horrible … it was dirty .. and it’s not suited to a family stay .. to access the toilet whoever is sleeping in the living room on the sofa bed has to go into the bedroom and use the on suite… not good … 2 towels for 4 adults for 3 nights…. The sofa bed and bedding was awful .. and very dirty… have to say though the booking company .. westholidays have been great in sorting a full refund… and lucky we could find other accommodation at the last minute … would deff avoid this apartment in the future

• Rachel (9/5): Beautiful Tobermory. Would stay here again. - Location fantastic on Sea front. Easy parking on street. Walk to everything, including our whale watching tour.very good kitchen facilities. Sofa bed for two people was tricky to put together and the extension part of this bed was not overly comfortable.

• Carolyn (10/5): Great little place for a few day stay. - The position was fantastic walking distance to everything. It was very clean, comfortable for 4 people. The only thing was not enough toilet paper for our stay but the local CoOp was just a few doors away.

• Chris (9/5): Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped self-catering accommodation - thank you. - Excellent fresh decor and cleanliness. Well equipped kitchen with washing machine. Comfortable large double bed and decent sofa bed with good bedding. Decent washroom with good shower and plenty of towels. Great location - short level walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, takeaways and Tobermory ferry terminal (this easy access to Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan). A good comfortable base with decent road connections from which to explore the more remote and less well equipped parts of Mull. Not sure what the welcome pack was that I believe was referred to in the description. The TV could have been larger with better sound quality for the price charged. The small electric radiators were easy to activate but barely adequate to heat all rooms to a comfortable temperature (it is noted that we stayed in late March with some sunny days but very cold nights). The heated towel rail in the bathroom however did work well and enabled us to dry damp clothing. The description seemed to imply views over the harbour although the specific apartment allocated to us was very close to the harbour, but the only view was through a narrow archway. This made it relatively quiet and private although without specific direct views. Usually it was possible to park close to the property on the street, although at some busier times it was not possible to park the car nearby.

• Rose (7/5): Overall great spot for a few days a very close to everything. - The location was excellent The Internet was in the area that the sofa bed was in and it was really noisy. Also the accommodation smelt very damp. Also disappointed with no basic supplies on arrival.

• Tracy (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location and all the facilities were excellent, it had all things I like when I'm away. Decent shower, iron and ironing board and hairdryer - if ever back in Mull I would stay here again. Only grumble would be the noisy router in the living area in apartment 2 and maybe surplus toilet tissue being left as had to buy our own, still a great wee hoose tho 😊

• Ross (10/5): Would love to return, would definitely stay again if in the area. - Proximity to Tobermory Harbour and all the main amenities was superb. The appliance under the window (router?) was slightly noisy, but that was the only thing.
• Lesley (5/5): Good location but photos inaccurate - Location was good, right by the ferry jetty. Easy walk to many restaurants and the Co-op. Parking in Tobermory generally is very easy, none of the restrictions you have elsewhere these days. I did feel very short-changed - both the photos of the outside of the apartment showed a completely different apartment with a seaview so I thought that was what I had booked. The apartment itself was behind that one in an inner courtyard full of bins (about 10 of them!) so the only view we had was of dustbins. This also made the apartment very dark and gloomy so we did not want to spend a moment there other than sleeping; we actually ate our fish and chips in the car when it started raining rather than go back to the apartment! The loud noise in the living room referred to by others was not the router but a cctv box. Not sure why you need cctv in a place like Tobermory but it was impossible to sleep in that room with it on. Also, the sofabed, due to its design had one quarter that sagged - it was just about ok for my daughter but would not have been suitable for more than one person.

• Sue (6/5): very confused with lack of correct information from Booking.com .. stayed in a flat over-looking a load of bins instead - a short walk to the harbour and shops confusion from Booking.com- I was given 2 different flat numbers and codes . I went to the last notification showing a different flat number as I thought there might have been a problem in the first one given .. the company involved/ owned the flat weren’t notified .. so looking out onto bins in the flat instead of the sea ?? also booking.com gave the impression they were taking a payment on 14th June’23 .. I had already paid this amount on the 3rd June ‘23?? caused more confusion.. The flat I stayed in was well equipped but the internet box very, very noisy and so couldn’t use lounge / kitchen area for a comfortable time even a couple of minutes ? so a very confused/ uncomfortable stay … no offer of compensation either ….
• Lauri (9/5): The apartment was perfect for us and would definitely stay there again. - Location was fabulous! Easy walking to all the shops, restaurants and across the street from the harbor. Washing machine and drying rack. So great to be able to wash clothes after 10 days of traveling Loved the fact there were blackout shades in the bedroom! June in Scotland it is light out until after 11 pm and sun rises at 3:30 am, so appreciated being able to sleep in. Heated towel rack was great. Kitchen was fully outfitted. Better lighting in living/kitchen room would be nice, but it was okay.

• Stephen (8/5): A very comfortable property in a great location. - The accommodation was very comfortable located right on the harbour next to the lifeboat station and ferry port. The apartment was quite dark, with two windows overlooking an internal courtyard where the rubbish bins are kept. This was not a big issue for us as we didn't spend any time in the property during the day. The wi-fi connection was not reliable and we couldn't work out how to make the TV work!
• Steven (6/5): Pleasant - location was good was clean and tidy tv in the bottom flat number 2 did nt work which was very disappointing as my friend who was staying with me likes the tv on so he was not impressed surely this day and age a newer tv and free sat box could be fitted or checked prior to arrival ??

• Michael (9/5): A very enjoyable stay on a beautiful island - Location. excellent being on the Tobermory waterfront Problems with payment - this was for the 2nd 1/2 of the rent, being requested but an email address provided did not work and the mobile signal in the area was weak to non existent - the Wi-Fi / internet was excellent but without a valid email address did not help with this problem. The difficulties may lie with the owner, or with booking.com which still needs resolution.
