Guest Reviews
- Heidi (9/5): Classy, stylish, Glendale Cottage - such a great find! - The house was beautifully decorated, especially the two main bedrooms and dining rooms - we just adored the antique and vintage furniture. The property was so clean and tidy, and we very much appreciated that there were items such as olive oil, sugar, and salt and pepper in the kitchen. We found the elevated driveway over the drain in the street to be a little hair-raising, as we were usually reversing our car down the driveway to exit the property.. But this raised part of the driveway was in excellent condition and clearly structurally sound which made the experience less stressful than it could have been. The paving (within the property itself) on the driveway was great, and so pretty, as was the garden.
- David (9/5): Comfortable stay with the family. - Very comfortable, charming cottage. It had all the necessary amenities. Within walking distance to the centre of town.
Very convenient for sightseeing and close to local hotels & other eateries.

The location was incredibly convenient — within easy walking distance to everything we needed. The home was beautifully presented, and thoughtfully set up with absolutely everything we could have needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Cosy comfortable and really clean . We loved sitting by the fire after a day exploring. The area is beautiful can never get enough of Daylesford. We loved the deli literally 1 minute walk away. Perfect for early morning coffee . Wine run. Delicious range of foods all you would need really . Enjoyed sitting in the sunshine at the lavender farm and hiking along the springs tracks . Thanks Wayne we really enjoyed our stay . Nothing

- Wendy (10/5): Perfect house, perfect location. - This beautiful house was in the perfect location. We were able to walk to shops and tourist destinations! Gorgeous inside with all the space and amenities you need. It was warm and cozy, and lighting the fire at the end of the day topped off our winters adventures. Highly recommend a stay here.
- ashley (8/5): Top location, clean, comfortable and warm home with central heating. - • Nice, clean, comfortable home with central heating
• Open garage parking for your car, and covered walkway to house entry
• Easy walking distance to shops; no need for car
Note
Paved courtyard with secure fencing for your dog. However, access via back door is via steep steps, so depends on your dog whether this is ok. There is also access from the car port to backyard, less steps than the back door route.

Fantastic location at end of shops, near pubs and market. Highly recommend 👌

- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional - Location was fabulous. The house is very tastefully furnished and nice and cosy Cobwebs in a few places but definitely lots more positives than negatives
- Sharyn (9/5): Loved it and would happily stay again. - A lovely period home, tastefully furnished. Very comfortable with central heating and open fire. Perfect for a family or group. Nice sunny deck overlooking the back yard. Smart TV. Clawfoot bath. Walking distance to everything in Daylesford. Nothing really. A coffee machine would be good and an 11am checkout would be nice but the house was great.
- Patricia (10/5): Great get away. - Loved this cottage, great location, beautiful out look, the court yard and patio area were fabulous. Great place to sit with wine and nibbles. The cottage was well maintained, very clean, and cosy. Definitely go again. Would recommend this cottage.

It was spotless and has an amazing outdoor area. The house itself is spacious. It has a renovated kitchen and bathrooms.
The owner was so accomodating and has good insight of the local cafes and attractions in the area. There wasn’t anything really that we didn’t like. We had all of the comforts of home.
- Glenda (10/5): Very comfortable stay with everything we needed. - The cottage is very well presented, clean and super comfortable. It was larger than expected and has a good floor plan including a lovely outdoor deck area. The bathroom is spacious plus there is a separate second toilet. - Donnamareepegg (10/5): Lovely Cosy Cottage Close to everything! - Very Cosy and comfortable Cottage very close to shops and the Sunday markets were only a short 10 min walk. Loved the open fire (when we could get it lit! we're a bit out of touch with lighting fires LOL) Plenty of room too, especially as we had two toddlers to entertain :) Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Daylesford and the spa is only about 4-5 km drive away. Communication with Bookings.com; I sent a message via Bookings.com asking to book in early 1-2pm and got an approval message from Bookings but unfortunately the Owners had also sent a message which we didn't receive saying they approved 2-3 pm and to call him when we got there to give us the location of the keys. We were a bit earlier than 2pm thinking we would be able to get in but we hadn't received a message to say otherwise (or so we thought) and of course couldn't get in, so we called the number of the owners from the Bookings.com App and that's when we both realized we hadn't received the messages!! It was all good as we went for a walk around town while we waited.
- Seethiah (10/5): More or less the best property we could have stayed in, close to everything in Daylesford, and warm! - Wayne was an exceptional host, great communicator and very accommodating. Allowed for early check in and helped us when we left some items behind!

- Colin (9/5): A beautiful few days enjoying Daylesford, and catching up with family. - A beautiful house, close to the centre of Daylesford, with a delightful outdoor area at the back. The property has been beautifully renovated and is well appointed. We also had a small dog with us, and the property is pet friendly.
- Phoebe (9/5): Thank you Wayne! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back in future if the dates align. - The property was incredibly beautiful and in a very central location. Wayne was very responsive, flexible, and accommodating!
The yard space was wonderful and our dog loved sniffing every bit of the garden bed! This is me nitpicking because the property was in all other ways immaculate and beautiful.
The bathroom floor (just the floor, everything else in the bathroom was very clean). needs a good scrub, it has been vacuumed and probably mopped too, but there was a grittiness to the floor, which I get at home when I do a quick clean of my own bathroom floor. I think it happens when not all the dust is cleared before you mop, but I'm no expert!
Like I said at the top this is a very little thing and may say more about my personality haha.
- Cletus (10/5): Great cottage in middle of daylesford - Immaculate cottage and extremely clean, pet friendly with lots of amazing touches making it feel very homely while also having modern appliances and fitting. Wayne was extremely responsive and a great host Nothing here. Just to note that we couldnt find a dishwasher but other than that.. absolutely impeccable
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was beautiful, great outdoor space to enjoy and very cosy and comfortable inside. Location was perfect, walking distance to everything!
