• Claire (9/5): - The Studio Apartment was set in a lovely location, with easy access to Wells. It was warm and comfortable accommodation. Also very dog friendly, and, although we didn't make use of it as our pooch is now an elderly 12 year old, the field behind the accommodation is ideal for dog walks and runs. Definitely a place we'd rebook. Nothing
• Lisa (8/5): Perfect for a country break in comfort - Friendly hosts ! Beautiful surroundings, quiet and close to all great places to explore. Comfy beds, hot shower, when arriving we saw the shepherds hut and will definitely be back to stay in there . Can’t fault it

Helpful and friendly hosts with little touches like the welcome fresh flowers to express their hospitality. Bright and airy and although a studio appeared spacious and accommodating. Lovely 30-40 min walk over the fields into Wells The studio is over a garage and the high windows reduced the view over the garden …. Although we were out and about out all day so this wasn’t really a problem
• John (10/5): We had a relaxing wonderful stay - Where do I start Everything was excellent the bed was comfortable the room was well laid out with everything you needed for two people including an air fryer the location was very good for visiting wells and Glastonbury. It was so quiet the only thing you could hear was the birds singing. Thank you Michelle Roger and Barnaby who Were lovely host very friendly very helpful. The flowers milk tea coffee and biscuits was very welcome for our stay. We will definitely go back and stay again. Nothing it was perfect

• Nicola (10/5): Lovely getaway in a beautiful spot. - We stayed at Roger and Michelle’s for a few days over new year. The accommodation was perfect, lovely layout with everything we needed, and nice and toasty warm for winter. A lovely place to relax. Ideal location on the outskirts of Wells, very peaceful and set in beautiful countryside. They were very dog friendly too and provided us with some good advice of where to eat and places to visit. Our doggy really enjoyed the adjoining field to have a morning run in. Would definitely recommend and stay there again when we are in the area.
• GILA (10/5): Will definetly go back, lovely studio with everything and more. Perfect for a walking dog holiday - Like a Five Star hotel only better Flowers, Xmas card and a bottle of mulled wine and bubbles The bed is a little saggy, needs replacing soon. But everything else was 10/10
• Barbara (10/5): Fabulous property close to Wells. - The studio is in a beautiful location. Within its own enclosed large garden. Very safe for our little dog. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's very warm and cozy. Very clean. And the hosts left us some milk and mince pies which were very welcome. They also met us on arrival, ran through some of the information. Also gave us some recommendations for eating out which we took and were very pleased. Can't think of any negative things to say. We'll definitely return. I think the directions could have been slightly better, particularly as we arrived in the dark and couldn't locate the property. But most of it was our fault we should have planned our journey better.

• David (10/5): Could happily have stayed there for longer. - Location very good for accessing the beautiful cathedral city of Wells and it's very superior Saturday market. The New Ager's mecca of Glastonbury was 10 minutes away and access to Wookey hole would be easy, although we didn't go there. Cheddar Gorge, Burrington Coombe and onwards through the Mendip Hills to Clevedon coast path made a good day out. The Somerset levels made for an interesting and intriguing rural meander, with a lot more like it if we'd had the time. The riverside location on the far side of the lawn Could happily have stayed there for longer.would presumably be good for fishermen. The TV had a strange habit of randomly turning itself on day and night. Needed to be switched off at the wall socket. The kitchen and indeed the whole apartment was very well equipped but we missed our air fryer.

• Sophie (9/5): Very cosy and quiet - yet close to Wells - look no further - The place was lovely and quiet and within a 2 minute drive to Wells. The Studio had everything we wanted and it was so very clean and cosy. Michelle and Roger were excellent hosts. We will be back and hopefully stay longer! Perhaps the shower could have more power.

• Fiona (9/5): Superb - It was a beautiful studio,well kitted out clean comfortable, we loved it,the grounds were lovely and it was in a pretty good location,close to wells and Glastonbury and street Unfortunately probably due to the heat and nearby farms there was alot of flies,the place was spotless,but ive never known it so bad,i would maybe suggest fly screens but apart from that it was lovely and we'd love to return

Michelle, Roger and Barnaby the dog were very welcoming, the property is in a great location and beautifully kept. There are plenty of places to visit near by within easy reach, the city of Wells is within walking distance if you enjoy walking and the Cathedral is amazing. We had a great break and would visit again.
• Liz (10/5): Exceptionally comfortable, warm dog-friendly apartment don’t hesitate to book. - We had a lovely short break at the apartment which was clean, warm, cosy and very comfortable. Super quality bed linen and towels, plenty of hot water and a very comfortable huge bed! The studio is exceptionally good for dogs with a huge secure garden which our dog loved. Our hosts were brilliant and suggested great walks and places to eat, thank you Michelle and Richard.

• Jon (9/5): Great studio in a superb location - The studio was a lovely self contained apartment with everything you needed for making your own dinners and relaxing. The location, less than 2 miles from Wells, made it the perfect spot to access the city, the local area and have quiet restful evenings. My main recommendation would be to install a EV car charger. For us, this is something we now expect at 5* locations. Moreover, it would have been really useful for Wells, as the charging facilities in the city are essentially unusable for anyone coming from outside of Wells or the UK. We were completely unable to charge in the Wells city and had to charge in Bristol.

• Debbie (10/5): HIDDEN GEM - Fab hideaway with great hosts Roger and Michelle who think of the guest and their pets.  Beautiful house and grounds. The Studio is a home a way from home and is fully equipped for your needs and very comfortable.  Having the boot room at the bottom of the Studio is very handy when you have your dog with you.  Plenty of parking and a set of bistro table and chairs out side if needed.  The grounds are lovely and have several sitting areas to contemplate, either by the river or in the reading shack.  The is a lovely field to run the dog(s) around in which like the main garden is fully enclosed.  The main garden is lovely, laid to lawn with shrub boarders, again plenty of space for the pooch The whole property is a GEM and we loved our stay there 
• Luke (10/5): Anniversary trip to Wells. - Friendly hosts, exceptionally clean studio (complete with a vase of fresh roses), and an amazing location right next to the river Sheppey. The perfect setting for our anniversary trip. The studio is equidistant from Wells and Glastonbury and there are plenty of buses and taxis available. Nothing.

• Georgina (10/5): The studio apartment - We stayed in the studio apartment, it was so nice. We drove onto a gated property and was greeted by the lovely Michelle. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The studio apartment was very clean, nicely decorated and very homely. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the main rooms and there is another door at the top that locks shut. We found this very helpful, having a newly walking toddler who likes to explore! There was no worry of her accessing the staircase. The property had all amenities such as kettle, microwave, oven, iron etc. The property has a large garden with a hut you can sit and relax under. The field next to the property has sheep roaming, be careful of the electric fence! There is also a large field and a playground just a 5 minute walk away through a lovely wooden pathway following the stream, great for kids. Overall a beautiful property, on beautiful grounds.

Michelle & Roger were very friendly and only at the end of the phone if we needed anything. The whole place was outstanding and Barnaby the dog was cute too. There was nothing we didn’t like at all.

• Maxine (10/5): Amazing place, home from home with the best hosts ever! Gorgeous gardens - Roger and Michelle were the friendliest, loveliest hosts we've ever had! Very helpful, talkative and felt like a home from home! Beautiful gardens, we all loved the stream and Benjamin especially, we didn't want to leave! We will be back here year after year! We loved everything, only couple of suggestions would be in the kitchen... a bigger saucepan (to put in pasta for more than 2 people), maybe a large saute pan for cooking things like bolognase etc as the frying pan was a bit small, a wooden spoon and a large kitchen knife (only had small veg knife and bread knife) and a few more plain tumblers as didn't have quite enough normal glasses for 3 of us! Other than that we had the perfect time thankyou!

• Susan (10/5): Peaceful spacious apartment in a beautiful location. - Situated on a quiet lane with beautiful views, the apartment was a delight to stay in. It was clean, comfortably furnished and well equipped. There was a beautiful vase of fresh flowers on the table. The owners were most accommodating putting outdoor cushions out and the sunshade up so that we could enjoy our morning coffee overlooking the river. It was all perfect.

But the one thing that was better than the apartment was the hosts! I have never felt more welcome than I did during my stay! Roger and Michelle are truly wonderful! The pups & I cannot wait to stay again!

There is a bus stop nearby with frequent and late evening services to Wells, Bath, Bristol and Glastonbury. Nothing of note.
