• Matthew (10/5): Peaceful and comfortable stay at a quiet but centrally located apartment - The location is very nice. Close to Ho Tay but down a very quiet street. The apartment itself is well-equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, and TV. It would be quite suitable for someone looking to stay long-term. The bed is also very comfy (although this is subjective). I would definitely return. The host is a delight. They provided many restaurant recommendations and also services like airport transfers (for a fee). The front door could use a curtain/blind to block out any light from entering the apartment at night. This is only a very small complaint - only very light sleepers would be affected with the current setup.

A zona era perfeita, sendo perto da zona central mas numa rua bastante silenciosa. O host foi muito prestável e ajudou-nos com o taxi até ao aeroporto e também nos deu várias sugestões de restaurantes e cafés na zona.

Communication with the owner was very easy from the beginning, and she helped me a lot with organizing my activities and recommending places to visit. • Renata (10/5): Schöner und ruhiger Aufenthalt - Das Apartment befindet sich in einem schönen alten Anwesen in einer ruhigen Straße. Für mich war es sehr praktisch, dass in dem Apartment eine Waschmaschine war. Die Wäsche kann man auf dem Dach der Wohnanlage aufhängen. Auch der Fernseher mit Netflix etc. war toll. Die Beleuchtung ging über die in Asien übliche Leuchtstoffröhre hinaus, und nachdem ich eine Glühlampe in einer Tischlampe ersetzt und ein Verlängerungskabel besorgt hatte, war es abends durchaus gemütlich. Vorallem war es für mich die erste Unterkunft in Hanoi in der man so gut wie keinen Verkehrslärm hören konnte. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und immer erreichbar. In dem Apartment war es auch tagsüber so dunkel, dass man das Licht anschalten musste. Nachts wurde vor der halbtransparenten Eingangstür eine grelle Lampe eingeschaltet, so dass es nachts nicht richtig dunkel war. In Booking wird mit Balkon, Gartenblick, Stadtblick, Patio/Veranda, Terrasse geworben. Diese gehören aber nicht zu diesem Apartment.
• Laurent (7/5): - L'emplacement de la résidence. Lit ok. Appartement en rez-de-chaussée, humide avec une odeur persistante : un déshumidificateur électrique tente d'assainir, mais ne fonctionne que quand la carte est insérée dans le logement d'activation, donc pas de déshumidification en mon absence. La cuisine est cosmétique, les portes ne ferment pas si ouvertes et inversement car le bois a gonflé. Impossible de faire fonctionner la clim en chauffage, elle n'a tout simplement jamais démarré. Ventilateur asthmatique, insuffisant pour brasser l'air. Pas de bouteille d'eau, pas de bouilloire avec quelques sachets de thé ou café de courtoisie (mais 2 tasses et 2 verres, vides) j'aurais apprécié après la bascule depuis l'aéroport. Par contre un tarif "normal" (300kvnd) immédiatement proposé pour venir de l'aéroport, avec d'autres offres de service dont les tarifs ne m'ont pas convaincus. Pas d'accueil, heureusement un monsieur s'est chargé de contacter la propriétaire pour que je parvienne à entrer. Si je n'étais pas tombé par hasard, sur elle, elle ne m'aurait pas rencontré : c'est un enfant qui est venu encaisser le paiement en cash. La propriétaire vit pourtant à 4 m de la porte de mon appartement. Seul le rapport "qualité"-prix sauve la moyenne, mais au même prix on trouve bien mieux en s'y prenant un peu à l'avance. J'ai accordé un 7, par faiblesse.
• Phương (9/5): - Địa điểm rất gần Lăng Bác và các khu phố cổ. Xung quanh không quá ồn ào vào buổi sáng và ban đêm khá là yên tĩnh. Bạn chủ home cũng rất nhiệt tình, reply tin nhắn khá nhanh. Phòng rất rộng rãi, có khu vực bếp và giặt phơi riêng trong phòng. Điều mình ấn tượng là cách bạn thiết kế khu vực để khóa phòng rất đặc biêt. Nên điều chỉnh lại độ cao của giàn phơi vì nó hơi bất tiện cho người có chiều cao khiêm tốn

• Tilman (10/5): Schöne Unterkunft um Hanoi zu erkunden. - Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage, nicht direkt im Old Quarter Viertel, daher etwas weniger touristisch, dennoch alles gut zu erreichen. In der Ferienwohnung gab es alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen benötigt und es war gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war jederzeit möglich und nett. Danke!

Hay que tener en cuenta que nuestra habitación estaba en un 3° sin ascensor pero para nosotros no fue problema Tuvimos un malentendido con el taxi que nos contrataron desde el alojamiento ya que estuvimos más de una hora esperando en el aeropuerto sin apenas wifi y sin saber qué hacer

Good quiet location to avoid the chaos of Old Quarter - Apartment was spacious and had everything I needed including a table, kitchen, AC, fan, smart TV and washing machine. The host Quyen went above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay. The location is in a quiet street close to the West Lake, with tons of restaurants nearby and it isn't as chaotic and touristy like the Old Quarter. Wifi cut out a few times, but came back quite quickly.

We also loved the quiet location away from the crowds, but still close enough to walk to the old town. The host was really helpful and provided us with great eating and sightseeing recommendation. We had some really great meals in places which we would have otherwise overlooked. Communication was great before and throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Hanoi!

Good to have her by our side. Place is nice and comfortabe, in good location. Overall we were happy there. Thank you, and all the best :) Apartment is secluded from the street noise, so that is good thing, but it is not sound-proof from the noise, voices and activities from inside the building during the night or early morning hours, so I made complain after first two nights, and then it was good.

• Daniel (8/5): It's an 8 not 9. - Location is fine, you can even walk to some places. Apartment itself also fine but not perfect. TV with YouTube etc and a little couch to relax after a long day. All in all I recommend it. The house is very noisy. There's one guy coughing all the time, if someone talks outside you hear every word, if someone starts its scooter it sounds like it happening in your room. Very poor insulation. The building and apartment seem very old which is mostly charming in my option but just not only. To make the apartment more cozy I missed some warm lights. You only have the two main cold lights at the ceiling but nothing which brings nice atmosphere in the evening. Wifi also didn't work a few times. Furniture seems to be cheap, towels seem to be that cheap that they almost didn't dry me. Couch cover also had a not too convenient fabric. Not possible to pay by card, only cash is also not very professional, people don't want to carry millions of Dong around and go to ATM all the time. All in all I want to say, it's not a 9+, more of an 8+ at best, still good and ok. You can get a pickup from the airport for 300k. Be prepared for a old-school driver experience with a lot of honking and headlight flashing with no reason. Kind of fun but also a bit awkward and cringe because haven't seen other drivers doing this to this extent.

Most importantly, the host is one of the kindest people I've met. I had a complication right before arriving to Hanoi and when she found out she went WAY out of her way to help me. What a lovely introduction to Vietnamese people <3 Also, make sure you ask her for some food recommendations in the area, you won't be disappointed! Nothing!

The living area facilities were great and a comfortable bed. Additional mugs, plates and cutlery in the kitchen area would have been useful. The shower pressure was lacking and this area is very compact requiring good organisational skills.

Coffee shops, bars and restaurants within easy reach, The host is a most welcoming lady who can't do enough for you. Get her to make breakfast for you, very good indeed. Stair access might be a little challenging for some as a stone spiral staircase. but this is only a warning for those who find stairs difficult.
