• Evangeline (8/5): - The location!! Wow - the photos don't do it justice. The views and beauty of the old building were unforgettable. Just keep in mind that the restaurant is all the way down the hill. The rooms were very modern, with great amenities, and perfectly clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff were very kind and quick to help. As others have mentioned, there can be an issue with power, therefore no wifi or hot water, when the weather is not good. It was a disappointment to have the hot water in the shower run out after a day hiking.

Great views from the room. The interior is new and very clean, the shower is great. The pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on, but all in all very good

• Ryan (6/5): Moderate value, with a clean and newly designed room - The bed was comfortable and the whole building was newly renovated, so it looked nice and had a new and private bathroom. The location of the property within the town isn't too bad, but the guest house itself is not that close to the main road (though this would not be a problem if you had a car). The guest house is a few minutes walk up on a hill behind the restaurant and main road, which can be a challenge in poor weather or darkness, and also a tough sell if you have just hiked in from Valbona. There may be nicer buildings on the property, but we could hear footsteps above us in our room. The wifi didn't work at all and there was no cell signal in the building. The restaurant was fairly expensive and not as good as other restaurants in town.

• Artjola (10/5): Nice place in Thethi - Nice place in Thethi. You have to walk a little 5 minutes in the hill but easily done. The room was clean, spacious, clean sheets and towels. Keep in mind that the area has issues with electricity sometimes, but that is not the problem of the property. .

• Robert (7/5): Convenable mais sans plus - C'est une maison ancienne en pierre magnifique. Un bel endroit pas trop loin du centre. Je pensais avoir de la fraîcheur mais au contraire proche de la surchauffe ! J'aurais apprécié la climatisation. La douche a débordé largement dans la salle de bain. Un immense salon sans frigo. Mais le plus désagréable, c'est la séparation totale du restaurant superbe de la maison d'habitation (5 min. à pied).

• Rim (9/5): wonderful - Amazing and epic building with a surrounding yard facing the mountains. The view is impeccable from this hotel, it is having an excellent location in the center but at the same time in a calm area just you have to walk from reception for 5 minutes to reach. The room is super clean and comfortable. You can take the best photos ever in the yard which I enjoyed a lot. Sometimes no personnel around just in the cafe which is 5 min walk.

We initially booked one night before starting the hike and then after hiking back the following day we booked very last minute for another night and they were so accomodating. The owners are a beautiful family who are so welcoming and accommodating. The accomodation is so homely, inviting and clean. The views from the accomodation of the mountains is beautiful and there is an outside area overlooking them with tables. The breakfast provided was so cheap and delicious. Overall, definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone travelling! The family is so lovely and made the experience!

It’s a short walk from the centre but is set back from the road so it’s super peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains all around It was unseasonably cold when we went in May and the room doesn’t have heating, so we were quite cold. The shower also didn’t stay hot, I don’t know if this is because it runs from solar panel.

La habitación muy básica, el baño en la penumbra y se llenaba de agua de la ducha. Un rollo de papel higiénico a medias y el trato del personal inexistente, como si fuéramos fantasmas. Para completarlo pasamos frío en la habitación.
• Benedicte (10/5): - Great family, such nice people! The guesthouse is really beautiful, located in a gorgeous spot a little higher up overlooking the main road. Great view on the mountains around and 2min walk away from a beautiful waterfall just behind the guesthouse. It's very clean and comfy too! Still cold in the mountains in mid-May, there was no heating on in the bedroom so with young children it wasn't the best, though we could sit by the fire in the main room.

• Ne (8/5): nos ha gustado - el lugar espectacular y teníamos un jardín muy bonito en la casa y estaba en el centro del pueblo. el personal muy amable para cualquier cosa que necesites en todo momento el acceso a la casa si llevas equipaje es complicado. necesitas una linterna o frontal para subir a ella. la ducha no tragaba bien.
• Sloan (7/5): beautiful views - beautiful location, nice views , like that it’s set back from the road but still accessible. breakfast was supposedly included in the price on booking but we arrived for breakfast and they asked to charge us €5 each for breakfast. pretty unusual as everywhere in Albania has breakfast included. also power was off intermittently in whole of theth but place was still warm so wasn’t too much of an issue.

• Eloisa (8/5): - Clean and comfortable room. In a beautiful setting with a small vineyard there. Note the main check in/ breakfast area is about 3-4 mins walk down the hill, not really an issue. Staff very friendly. Tasty big breakfast. Unfortunately we had torrential rain during our stay and a mid shin high river formed on the route between the bar and the accommodation. The only alternative was 2 steel beams to the side as a 'bridge' but not ideal in the dark with suitcases/ heavy rucksacks etc. Rain was not the fault of the guesthouse of course but might be worth investing in something a little safer to cross in these rainy times! Otherwise all was perfect thanks!

• Adrien (8/5): - La vue, à proximité à 3 minutes à pied de la ville pour être calme sans être trop loin La douche catastrophique, l'eau ne s'évacue pas, le wifi de la chambre ne marche absolument pas, le petit déj plutôt moyen avec plein de guêpes quand on est dehors, la route pour venir est plutôt sport, on est obligé de revenir sur nos pas pour repartir, le village de Teth qui n'est pas intéressant, c'est surtout une étape pour les randonneurs

La ubicación esta bien, un poco retirada del "centro" pero mas tranquila. El WIFI no funcionó, parece ser que debido a un problema con las antenas de la compañia. De todos modos todos los restaurantes tienen WIFI gratis.

• Jesus (1/5): HORRIBLE - Por fuera es bonito El peor alojamiento que tuvimos en todo Albania. 1) habitación sucia. Se lo comunicamos y nadie se molestó en venir a limpiar. 2) toallas sucias. Se lo comunicamos y nos dijeron que eran manchas que no se quitaban. En un alojamiento de 76,50 euros la noche que te den toallas con manchas no es aceptable 3) el wifi no funcionaba. Se lo comunicamos y nos dijo que casualmente se había estropeado ese día y que estaba en ello. Era mentira ya que hablamos con otros huéspedes y en días anteriores tampoco funcionaba. Esto no es cosa del pueblo porque en restaurantes de la zona tenían wifi excelente. 4) llegamos al alojamiento y estuvimos media hora esperando a que nos recibiera alguien. Cuando llegó la chica nos dio la explicación de que lo normal era que la gente pasase antes por el restaurante del alojamiento (que está a 300 metros del alojamiento). Lo normal cuando tienes una reserva en un alojamiento es ir al alojamiento y no a su restaurante. 5) cuando finalmente nos dio la habitación no nos enseñó nada de las instalaciones, solo nos explicó que podíamos comer y cenar en su restaurante y que para pagar la estancia de nuevo había que hacerlo en si restaurante. Dada la nefasta experiencia preferimos comer en otros restaurantes de la zona con mucho mejor valoración. 6) la habitación que nos asignaron está en un anexo de la casa principal. Ni tiene tejado. Era insoportable el calor que hacía dentro. No tiene mosquitera. 7) dentro de la habitación tuvimos la oportunidad de escuchar a diversos roedores arañando las paredes. Y multitud de arañas anidando debajo de los colchones. Hicimos fotos de todas las incidencias. 8) después de todos los problemas no se dignaron a tener el detalle de cobrarnos menos Alojamiento indigno de la puntuación que tiene.

Unser Bad hatte keinen Toilettendeckel, was uns nicht weiter gestört hat, wir dachten, das sollte so sein. Als ich in der nächsten Unterkunft meine E-Mails las, überraschte mich dieses Feuerwerk, das die Managerin bis 15:00 Uhr losgeschossen hatte (manche Nachrichten wirken abgeschnitten, mehr war nicht angekommen, das mag an Bookings System liegen); "Hi" "Bathroom" "It is not ok" "What dit you do ?" "Can you answer please! "?????" "Hi, is the toilet lid missing in the bathroom?? where is" "if you don't answer, I will report you to the police for theft and private violation, this is not normal, to leave without showing anything if there was any problem you should have said," "I have your face on camera, I will publish it on social media, I will not allow you to make fun of our work, I as a manager offered you free breakfast because you stayed three nights with us, I will pay every cent to the owner for the bull you have done, we will take you to court if you do not respo..." "you should have told us and we would have fixed it, not leave" Nachdem ich geantwortet hatte, dass während unseres Aufenthalts kein Toilettendeckel da war, wurde es nicht besser. Wahrscheinlich sollte man über die absurde Behauptung schmunzeln, dass eine vierköpfige Familie in ihrem bis oben hin vollbepackten kleinen Mietwagen einen Toilettendeckel aus einem abgelegenen Tal schmuggelt. Uns hat es die Erinnerung an schöne Tage verdorben. Schade.

• Belen (9/5): Un hotel para volver - La casa era muy acogedora, y aunque la habitación no era muy amplia (éramos 5), estuvimos cómodos y dormimos fenomenal. La ubicación era excelente y el trato inmejorable. El desayuno nos gustó mucho, la zona de restaurante es muy bonita y en verano es fresca, con mucha sombra.
• Núria (10/5): - Lloc espectacular amb vistes a la muntanya. Tot molt correcte. No hi vam esmorzar. 5’ caminant del “centre” (no sé si es pot considerar centre del poble). Llit còmode Teníem reservada una habitació amb lavabo amb dutxa amb mampara i ens van donar la típica dutxa que mulles el vàter. Després de dies a Albània, teníem ganes de dutxar-nos sense mullar tot el lavabo.

Electricity was on and off the evening we arrived, and the Wifi was working maybe half the time at most. I'm betting hese are probably more of an "Albania" or "Theth" problem than a problem with this particular property however. Also make sure you bring cash to pay for your stay - this was a bit of a surprise for us and we had to scramble amongst us to come up with enough.

Daarvoor had ik veel betere voorziening en bedden verwacht. De kwaliteit van de bedden en dekens zijn ver onder de maat gekeken naar de prijs
