Ci sono anche le renne che ti accolgono appena fuori dalle stanze Se le condizioni meteo permettono si può vedere un’aurora spettacolare Siamo arrivati al ristorante ma erano disponibili sono due zuppe su tutto il menù, potrebbe essere un problema per chi non mangia questo tipo di piatti. Zuppe comunque deliziose!!!

• Lukasz R. (10/5): a truly unique, fantastic experience, one to remember - I'd rate it as 11 out of 10, if this was an option. This might have been overall best stay I have ever had, among hundreds of stays all across the world. 1. *very* friendly service. The person running the hotel was going out of her way to make us feel welcome. On the first day we were the only guests (mid February, so i guess low season) and we got such a nice breakfast spread. We were looked after, and asked multiple times if there is anything else we'd like. It felt like visiting family. 2. the hotel is nice. it a bit dry on the outside, but inside its warm, cozy, with a great common area - and comfy beds. the location is breathtaking. you are in the middle of the icelandic highlands, you feel like you are on some arctic research outpost :-) 3. we were trying to catch some northern lights and we were rewarded - there is not a lot of light pollution in the area, and it was trivial to make good photos. The one attached to this review didn't really require a lot of trying. 4. for bonus point, there is a semi-domesticated reindeer roaming the lands, and it was quite na experience. we visited in February. it was easy driving from the main road - the 8km gravel road has markings on the side and got some winter service - despite heavy snow 2 days earlier it was easily passable.

• Don (10/5): We experienced the best of Iceland, wild scenery and great hospitality, in glorious accommodations. - We were looking for somewhere to stay that was relatively remote and away from the crowds. We certainly chose right. What a perfect location. We felt at home and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our room was so very cozy and quiet. We loved it! Dinner the first night was exquisite. Everything so fresh and delicious. Breakfast was just great. We were definitely sorry to leave after three glorious nights. Will recommend highly and certainly stay there again. Nothing.

Just off of Route 1 it is in a wonderful location off the beaten path in a quiet beautiful setting. The rooms are in a newer modern building and the views are magnificent. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. It exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is nice and breakfast is good. It's located in a quiet small hamlet with a church. The building with the modern new rooms is separate from the older farmhouse that houses the restaurant. It's connected with a board walk. This was one of my favorite stays in Iceland. Highly recommend!

• Stefania (10/5): Un sogno - Un posto incantevole. Immerso nella natura, accogliente e caratteristico. La camera davvero bella esattamente come in foto. Grande, accogliente, calda. Materasso e cuscini comodissimi e asciugamani morbidi. Il bagno spazioso e comodo. Luci calde e soffuse. Per non parlare del panorama davanti a noi, impagabile! Abbiamo cenato al ristorante e abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, il persone è gentile e ti fa sentire davvero a tuo agio. Mi è dispiaciuto andarmene Mi è solo dispiaciuto stare là una sola notte!!

• Nuno (10/5): Wonderful stay that feels like a proper getaway. Amazing view and tasty food. - The location, the view, and the restaurant are wonderful. Some rooms have direct access to the outdoors which give a different feeling to the location. Fire alarm could be better located, as the very bright blinking light was very visible in the sleeping area. Showers, as other reviews have mentioned, tend to easily overflow.
• StefB (10/5): - Es ist einfach eine super tolle Unterkunft! Vermutlich die schönste, die wir auf Island hatten. Abgelegen und mitten in der Natur. Es gibt dort auch viel zu entdecken, Ziegen, Hunde, ein Rentier und zwei Polarfüchse. Das Personal war auch super nett. Ausreichendes Buffet zum Frühstück. Im Hotel schöner Sitzbereich mit Wasserkocher, Kaffemaschine und Besteck und Geschirr.

Ristorante ottimo La zona comune vicina alle camere senza regole ( ne scritte ne con controllo) , un gruppo di 16 persone ha letteralmente fatto festa fino alle 2 con musica e schiamazzi ed era impossibile dormire. Nessuno dice niente o controlla. La mattina era tutto un disastro…sporco e inutilizzabile La nostra camera seppur bella era letteralmente sul parcheggio…nel senso che le finestre sono ad 1 metro dalle auto ed essendo grandi ci siamo dovuti chiudere con le tende..che senso ha avere una camera in mezzo al nulla con delle vetrate così se devo essere murato dentro? Inoltre la mattina ho comunicato quanto successo allo staff ed ho mandato una ( gentilissima) mail a cui nessuno ha mai risposto. Bello ma mancano le basi dell’accoglienza

• Asli (9/5): Le highlight de notre séjour en Islande! - Nous avons booké en dernière minute une nuitée dans cet hôtel afin d’être au plus proche de la route F menant à Askya, que nous avons faite le lendemain (160 km aller-retour de pure bonheur dans cette région lunaire au cœur de l’Islande, à faire absolument si vous avez loué une 4x4). L’hôtel en lui-même est magique, sorte de havre de luxe et de paix dans un paysage superbe, pourtant à seulement une vingtaine de km de la route principale. Le seul reproche qu’on pourrait faire à cet établissement est son prix (325€ la nuit!) et les rideaux dans la chambre, qui ne sont pas occultants (soleil de minuit…). Malgré tout, c’était notre logement préféré sur les 2 semaines passées sur l’île et on y retournerait les yeux fermés.

• Luke (10/5): Excellent - highly recommend it and I’d stay again! - Excellent all around - hospitality, best food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in Iceland after over a week of other locations, wildlife, fishing, hiking and hot pools. It can get a little warm in the rooms at night depending on the outside temperature.

Nous avons adoré cette expérience, un de nos meilleurs souvenirs en Islande. Restaurant délicieux ! Les oreillers fins et pas assez moelleux, à part cela ras !

• Ludmila (9/5): Хороший отель в деревенском стиле - Понравился интерьер, внешний вид, дизайн. Все просто, но душевно. Тихо и комфортно. Отличный завтрак. Можно поужинать. Дружелюбный персонал. Шторы на окнах тонкие и летом, когда длинный световой день, в номере светло допоздна и уже рано утром в номере светло и плохо спать.
• David (9/5): - Alojamiento muy cuidado, cálido, tejado de hierba y emplazamiento excepcional. Tranquilo. Pequeña terracita. Vimos unos simpáticos conejos que no se asustaron de nuestra presencia. La señal de wifi falla a veces y el desayuno es un poco escaso, producto local quizás por lo lejano que está de la civilización.
