• Hagel (10/5): A comfortable and well-equipped stay with great views, a peaceful location, and an attentive host. - Key collection was very straightforward. Communication with the host through the Booking app was excellent, as she responded promptly and even accommodated an earlier check-in to suit our flight schedule. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook comfortably with all the necessary utensils provided. The property also offered a beautiful view of the ocean from both the balcony and the terrace. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, and it is an ideal choice if you plan to rent two cars, as there is ample parking space available. A greater supply of towels would have been helpful, although the washing machine at the property makes it easy to refresh them when needed.

• Luiza (10/5): Perfect villa for your Madeira stay - This is a great villa. There were only two of us but it could keep easly 6 people. Great location, 5 min walk to the bus stop, 10 min walk to the local bakery or shop. We had a car, and the location was perfect to get around the island. Beautiful sea view from bedrooms and terrace. • Laine (9/5): - Sijainti hieman haastava, mutta niin on vähä kaikkialla. Auto olisi hyvä olla. Lähellä hyvä leipomo. Hyvä majoitus 5-8 henkilölle, menisin toisekkin Lähi kauppa ei kauhea hyvä. Pien baari lähellä mutta lähin järkevä ravintola ajomatkan päässä. Yöllä kun pitää ikkunoita auki jotta asunto viileni syyskuussa niin koirien haukuntaa ja autojen ääntä toisinaa herätti. Ei kuitenkaan suuresti haitannut.

• Harald (10/5): Amazing place to stay - Highly recommend! - Danielas place was amazing. Big and spacious. Close to Funchal, and easily accessible with car. Private parking was very nice, with space for 2 cars. Host (Daniela) was very accomodating and helpful, and super responsive. All was clean, modern and nice. The one and only thing that could be better, is better WIFI connection. It was quite poor, when our group of 6 was using it at the same time. This made it hard to research and plan activities on Madeira etc. (we had to use our mobile data, which also was not the best in terms of connection). But that's it. The rest was 10/10.
• Paul (9/5): Bright and breezy - Villa Strelitzia is spacious, bright and airy, and well-equipped with towels, linens and kitchen necessities. The beds were comfortable and there was good shower pressure. Being above Funchal, we particularly liked the way it always seemed to catch a pleasant breeze on the hot days. Nice views from the three balconies. Secure parking for our car and well-situated for getting around the island. The property manager, Daniela, was excellent - very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and extremely quick to respond to any questions during our stay. We would definitely stay at Villa Streilitzia again, or any other property Daniela was managing!
