• Martin (6/5): Could do an awful lot better - Spacious apartment, close to Marina. Good WiFi. This is a privately owned apartment in a complex. It is called Cesar Apartment. We were looking for a complex called Cesar Apartments which doesn't exist. It's in a complex called Condominio da Mar. This is not mentioned at all in the information. The directions provided bring you to a back entrance gate, which is coded, so absolutely no use to you while trying to check in. The apartment is not wheelchair accessible, there are 4 flights of stairs to negotiate, this is also not mentioned in the advert. We were provided with one toilet roll, a small bottle of washing up liquid, no sweeping brush, no towel changes (there for 9 days), no bed linen changed, no rubbish collected. There were no sun loungers on the balcony. The outside chairs were filthy. The clothes dryer is rusty. There is a broken electrical socket in the living room, and there are exposed wires in the light fixture in the bathroom. The bedroom lamp is missing screws and appears unsafe to use. We couldn't get the TV to work. We communicated with the owner, who indicated maintenance would come in and sort out the difficulties, but they never came. Reception do not provide you with the WiFi password, they said they don't have it so had to check with owner. It just about did the job for us, but potential guest should be aware of the above.

• Raúl (8/5): - Ubicación. Está muy bien equipado: sábanas, toallas, lavavajillas, lavadora, frigo, tostadora, cafetera… El suelo no estaba limpio y había hormigas.
• Gharibian (9/5): Appartement agréable dans résidence de vacances. - La résidence de vacances est agréable ! La piscine est top, accès à la plage rapide. L’appartement est bien agencé et la terrasse est très grande. Cesar est très réactif et agréable ! L’appartement mériterait un grand ménage. Il y a pas mal de fourmis dans l’appartement.

No habia para limpiar los platos un poco de Fairy.. y solo un rollo de papel de WC es escaso... Distancia s la playa algo lejos para ir andando por suerte habis buena zona de parking

• Guest (1/5): - Only the location We had a terrible experience during our stay. When we arrived, the room was dirty with garbage left from previous guests, a dead cockroach on the floor, and ants everywhere — especially in the kitchen and even in our food. The ants got into our suitcases and clothes, which was extremely unpleasant. Although the place was cleaned after we complained, the ants never went away. We were also given just one small towel each for a 5-day stay — to be used for body, face, and hair — and only one roll of toilet paper for four people for the entire duration. Later, we found another cockroach, this time alive, which we had to kill ourselves. When we reported this at the reception during checkout, the person in charge laughed at us, mocked our complaint, and showed no intention of helping or even apologizing. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. We do not recommend this property and feel very disappointed by the way we were treated.

• Paul (9/5): It was great. Great apartment in a great location. I would stay again - Great location near the beach and the town. Fabulous swimming pool. The iron is broken and needs replacing. The coffee machine used pods. I would have preferred a cafetière or percolator
• Gauthier (8/5): Very good - Pool and location is amazing! Feel they could provide more general stuff such as washing up liquid/ dishwasher tabs as we were only staying for a short period so had to spend a bit of money to get these
• Kerry (6/5): Cheap price and great location, but there could be a little care to fix the broken items and a mattress topper to stop t - Location is great and the swimming pool area is nice and not over crowded. The rental person was very helpful and replied quickly to questions. Beds were very uncomfortable, the freezer door was broken and fell off every time you opened it, cupboard door on wardrob was broken and hard to open. The Lighting outside by the bbq was poor when bbqing in an evening, we had to use a phone torch to see. The patio was dirty and the wooden bench seats were broken, and the were cobwebs all over the flat. Ants were coming out the bidet seal.

• Gabriela (7/5): Good - It is quite a spacious apartment, this compared to a typical hotel room. It has a bedroom, living area, big terrace, kitchen and bathroom. It's fully equipped with appliances to make your stay just like home, including big TV with a long list of channel options. There is a smell of dampness all around, outside the apartment too (noticed it in the reception room as well). Maybe some elements can be replaced in the apartment, like the bamboo towel racks from the bathroom that tend to get moldy after exposed to too much humidity.
• Sinead (8/5): Good location and balcony made it! Would stay again for short stay - The balcony was amazing! There was a bbq & pool we didn’t get the chance to looked great. Good location about 15 min walk to the center. Beach is very close! Beds weren’t comfy was ok for us as we only stayed 3 nights. Security guard didn’t want to let us in at the time we were supposed to check in but did eventually let us in.
• Masteling (8/5): Great stay in nice location - It's not very accessible when traveling with children in a stroller as there are several sets of stairs. This was not clear in the listing and was a disappointment on arrival.
• Kay (6/5): Pleasant - Clean,close to beach and marina,swimming pool good. Bed very hard,no shutters on living room window so difficult to sleep on sofa bed,doors don't close and front door very very hard to open.
• Laura (8/5): Lovely stay with a few issues that could easily be sorted. - The apartment was spacious with a beachy feel and well equipped for cooking. The washing machine was a big plus. The terrace was huge and a great spot to sit outside for a drink/meal or to dry clothes. Pool was lovely. There were a few functional issues. The lock for the front door to the apartment was jammed and very difficult to open, we had to ask for help from reception. The shutters for the doors from the living room to the balcony couldn’t be pulled back down after opening. We managed to get them down after a great effort from 3 people but we had to keep them shut after that meaning we had no natural light, and could only access the terrace from the bedroom. The bathroom door also scraped very loudly along the floor. I think these things could be fixed easily making a perfect place to stay :)

• Ivo (7/5): Great location, apartment with great potential but needs maintenance - Location, close to Lagos Marina and Beach - quiet holiday complex, good area and good swimming pool. The terrace is great. Apartment needs refurbishment to improve comfort. There are damp patches on walls in the hallway and black mould stains in the bathroom. WiFi was not working, we have to restart the TV box/and router (the wifi password provided at the accommodation is not correct) - needs a bit higher standard on cleanliness and comfort (bed, sofa bed and linens - especially the plastic-like mattress covers, which are not comfortable)
