• Jim (10/5): A perfect home from home escape. - Peaceful, comfortable and cosy cottage, very well positioned in the middle of the Great Glen. Everything is included for a super home from home stay. We can highly recommend it and definitely hope to return when next in the Highlands.

Beautifully renovated cottage with all the modern amenities set in a forest of tall trees surrounded by Scots Broom and a myriad of vegetation overlooking a pasture, river, and mountain view. So peaceful and relaxing! Very secluded but with easy access to adventure!

• Lesley (10/5): Superb cottage, we will definitely be back. - The cottage was idyllic and in a fabulous location, spotlessly clean and had everything you could want from a short break.
• Valeria (9/5): Quite and cozy cottage close to Loch Ness for relaxing days in the Highlands - The position was amazing, not complicated to teach. The cottage has a huge kitchen fully equipped, every room has everything that someone might need. The owners were very easily reachable and answered quite fast.

• Sharon (10/5): A wonderful place to unwind and relax - Torgoyle Cottage has to be the nicest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. We didn't want to leave. When you arrive it feels like you have come home. The cottage is spotless, carefully designed and the owners have thought of everything you might need. The location is peaceful and close to many areas of interest. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like, the cottage is perfect.

• Ola (10/5): Exceptional - We liked everything about the cottage and its location. It's a perfect place to stay if you are looking for accommodation in this area. The cottage has everything that you could possibly need, with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The place was very clean and the heating was on when we have arrived quite late in the evening. The open plan kitchen and living room it's super spacious and comfortable. The fireplace makes it even more cosy. The hosts are very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely consider staying here again. N/A

It was close to a variety of walks with amazing views, which suited both the person who wanted to do smaller walks, and the one who wanted to range over the hills! There's nothing to find fault with!

It’s cosy, Warm, Clean and just everything you’d need for a relaxing stay. It’s in the most amazing location and it’s definitely worth the little drive to the Isle of Skye. When we come to Scotland we wouldn’t even look at staying anywhere else! Thank you for the BRILLIANT stay again, Ourselves and the dogs have loved it. • David (9/5): Excellent place to stay - quiet, secluded and good dog walks from the front door, we shall be back - We liked everything - the location was secluded and quiet and it was very good for dog walking from the house There was no cafetiere or coffee machine which was a bit of a surprise as it was so well equipped in every other respect, even had two slow cookers. Also, the bed linen did not appear to be pure cotton which we always prefer

Absolutely a great place to stay, warm, very comfortable with everything you would need provided in terms of furnishings and equipment. Beautiful. The hosts provided all the information we needed to help us access and stay in their property. There is nothing to say here.
• Emma (8/5): An absolutely beautiful cottage, situated in the most beautiful location. Thanks for having us. - The location was perfect if you need a break away from the real world. It was quiet and comfortable with all the facilities that you could possibly need in the cottage. Shops are a fair distance but you can get a food delivery from a few of the supermarkets which was great. We spotted a few deer early morning and early evening in the field opposite the cottage which was lovely. The scenery is just out of this world and so many nice walks to do from the cottage. You have done an amazing renovation on the cottage that stood still for 17years, and what justice you have done to the place its a little slice of heaven here. The dog thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area as did we. Unfortunately there is no under cover area outside. It's fine when it's sunny but when it's raining its a shame there was nowhere to go and be under cover and still be able to enjoy the outside.

• Emily (10/5): Love love love - one of the best places I've stayed - We LOVED it here!! This must be one of the best places I've stayed in a long time. The area is absolutely beautiful, the cottage is STUNNING, and was so clean and cosy and homely, we just wanted to move in. We even checked if there was more availability for after our stay so we could stay longer! Our dogs were welcomed and they loved the yard and all the exploring we could do in the surroundings. The kitchen was amazing and completely kitted out with everything. Can't recommend this place enough. Sometimes the internet was very slow - which is expected because we were sooo remote, but I made the mistake of doing a big launch for my business that week and really needed internet 😅 For general things it was fine and would probably be a good reason to be a bit more off-grid while travelling, unfortunately I just couldn't be off grid that week!

It is situated in a very quiet area but closed to the mainroad. There is enough place to parc the cars. The communication with Lynne and Chris was easy, fast and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you very much. There is nothing to say.

We spent New year here and was what we wanted, lovely location and peace and quiet.. We found the heating to be a little warm, might just be us.
