• Martin (10/5): - The property is within easy walking distance of Charlestown, beaches, cliffs and St Austell. It is only a short drive to the Eden Project. The promised breakfast items were waiting for us, including some in the fridge. The property was easy to enter/exit, had easy parking and was warm and quiet. Excellent value for money. There was nothing to dislike. I doubt the property could be any better for the price.

• Marlene (8/5): Ideal accommodation for a short break. - There was everything we needed for a short break plus we found out we were on a bus route. Lois was friendly & helpful but let us keep ourselves to ourselves. I think this property is only suitable for short stays as there’s no proper cooking facilities & we didn’t like having to wash up in the bathroom.

• Alison (9/5): Bijou self contained flat - Excellent location with most places within a 20-30 mins walk in the local area Near large supermarkets too. Fridge and microwave in the apartment and a large array of breakfast items(no cooked breakfast beyond porridge) cereals, choice of teas & coffees and milk /water in the fridge. Parking on site which was useful No “kitchenette” area with a sink so crockery has to be washed up in toilet sink but as we only used a mug and a cereal bowl this was not difficult, even in a small sink

• May (9/5): Superb - Very clean, quiet, bed was comfortable, plenty of choice for drinks, lots of treats provided and cereals, yogurt for breakfast which was not expected. The owner greeted us as we arrived but then left us to enjoy our stay.. Nothing really to complain about, but the shower was difficult to get the correct temperature. Either too hot or too cold.

Location was fab short walk into Charles Town which we recommend you visits and near the Rden project and Lost Gardens of Heligan

• John (10/5): Excellent All Round - Great location for traveling around Cornwall. About a mile walk into Charlestown & less into St Austell. The accommodation was brilliant, very clean with a comfortable bed. Self contained with a coffee and tea making facilities, cutlery, plates and dishes, microwave supplied if required and a fridge which was well stocked with milk, drinks yogurt etc. also various breakfast cereals were also supplied. Host Lois was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this property. Nothing I can think off.

Lois was very friendly and welcoming! She told us all the best places to go and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay! She was very flexible with us and even let us stay an extra night! The apartment itself is in an excellent location and is very good value for money with everything you could need :) The apartment was well stocked with tea, coffee, porridge, a selection of cereals, cereal bars, muffins, croissants and biscuits. The fridge also had yogurts, capri suns, butter and Jam. Everything was immaculate on arrival and there was even a censored air freshener. We had our own key and felt very safe in the property. It was brilliant that we could securely park on the big drive in-front the property. The apartment was well equipped with wifi, a full length mirror, mini heater, microwave, kettle, Tv ( with Netflix), guide books, table with chairs, cutlery, plates, glasses, mugs, bowls, hand sanitiser, wardrobe with hangers, chest of draws for clothes storage, towels, extra pillows, additional bed throw, recycle station, shower gel, shampoo, soap, bath matt, umbrellas, hairdryer and first aid kit. The shower was very clean and had great temperature and pressure. It had the hand held shower head option for flexibility when washing with a convenient toiletries holder which was well stocked. The apartment itself was very quiet and peaceful ( I would describe it as being a separate private annex attached to the side of the house). We got four nights of blissful uninterrupted sleep! Couldn’t hear anyone else at all! There are three shut doors that separate you from the rest of the house! There isn’t anyone above or below you as the property is a bungalow. The room was a good temperature and Lois had the heating on for us for when we arrived. The location of the apartment is very convenient! Nothing. It was perfect!
