• Sophie (10/5): Exceptional, wonderful host and beautiful location. - The location was great. The apartment is situated close to the Marina, tunnel to the train station and the main restaurants. Matteo the host, was also exceptional. He met us on arrival and assisted with carrying our bags up to the apartment. He was also super informative about Riomaggiore to ensure we made the most of our stay. My partner and l will definitely be back! There was nothing! Everything was great.

• Gigi (6/5): Meant only for two people - There were 3 people in our group and this is clearly not intended for three people. Our third person had a cot in the kitchen upstairs which was not air conditioned. We had to text and request a fan. Clearly. Tended for two for a much better experience than we had.

• Katie (9/5): Great location and the owner was so organised and helped with anything needed. - The location was great. it was so nice having the owner assist us in finding the property on arrival. Everything was very clean and organized. If you plan on using the upstairs bed in the summer there is no air conditioning there and it was really uncomfortable. we moved the mattress downstairs so my child could sleep.

Bed was sooooo comfortable and the rain shower just perfect! - We had a great stay at 5 Terre on the Rocks and was a welcome retreat to have a break from the crowds for a bit. Our host was so great and helped with our luggage to and from the train station also. He had great recommendations on what to do in the towns. Perfect little spot for us. I had originally thought i booked the balcony room mainly for sea view but thought the double would be ok as it also had sea view. It didnt effect our overall stay and the room itself was fantastic, modern and well decorated, i would say sea glimpses rather than sea view as one cannot see the sea without sticking your head out the window.

Great location! - Clean, modern and comfortable apartment in a great location in a beautiful village. We loved the balcony where we sat and watched the sun set and could see down into the harbour, absolutely stunning. Lots of nice touches like body wash, a bottle of Prosecco, coffee. Close to the train station. It was great, just watch your head on the sloped ceiling in the bathroom.

Matteo went above and beyond to welcome us and be sure we were settled. Then got us reservations at the Michelin rated Rio Bistrot. Don’t miss this outstanding restaurant. We will definitely stay here again!!!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Explore Cinque Terre - This was an excellent spot to explore Cinque Terre from. You can see the beach of Riomaggiore if you lean out the window, it’s wonderfully close to the shops and the beach and the footpath but still quiet and on a peaceful side street. The space isn’t big but had everything we needed. Matteo was kind and helpful and responsive.
• Brendan (10/5): - This place was the BEST! Matteo was so friendly checking us in, and the space itself was incredible. So cool, up a steep set of stairs just a few yards from the main area of Riomaggiore. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was so spacious. Shower was incredible after a dip in the sea. Would highly recommend staying here! Favorite part of our trip
• Edward (9/5): Newly Renovated in the heart of Riomaggiore - Matteo the owner was awesome. He met us outside the property when we got there and helped with the bags. Texted us when there was a weather warning. Gave us recommendations for dinner and even a few coupons for 10% off. The room has been recently remodeled. Everything was new and modern. Definitely one of the best options for the area. The stairs to the room were steep and narrow with a rope handrail. I am sure this is typical for all the buildings, but worth noting. The sliding doors to the bathroom in our unit were glass. Very modern, but no privacy. We hung up a towel. One more thing worth noting. Also, this is more of a AirB&B than a hotel. If you need clean towels, you’ll need to ask for them and I am sure Matteo would be happy to provide.

The room itself was very clean and cute. Perfect location in the small town of Riomaggiori and a gorgeous view of the water!

You can see the ocean from both floors of windows. They have the sweetest balcony with a view of the town. And arguably my favorite part, a teeny tiny church connected to the building that stays open. Location dumps right in the job of all the shops and restaurants. I would stay here over and over. The only things is the top floor (kitchen area) can get very hot if you have a little one sleeping g up there. We had to move him down to the bedroom floor one night for the AC. but other than that it was absolutely dreamy!
