• Heinzelmännchen (8/5): Great location, friendly host. - The owner was friendly and helpful. Checkin was simple and quick. The location is good, it is on the main street but we didn't find it too noisy with the windows closed. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. The Metro stops are about a 15 minute walk and there are supermarkets within 10 minutes walk. The kitchen was great and well equipped. It had everything we needed to cook basic meals. The beds were comfortable and large. There was enough space for 2 couples to stay comfortably. The apartment is furnished in a simple fashion but has everything you need for a short stay. The washing machine and dryer were also appreciated. The apartment wasn't that clean on arrival, it looked like the floors hadn't been cleaned and there were crumbs and detritus on the couch and table. There was a vacuum cleaner on site that we could use ourselves. The bathroom was good except that the shower head appears to be not working properly, which is a minor detail. The steep stairs might be an issue for some people. Especially with a lot of luggage.

Stairs are terrible. Hard to lug up luggage. Uber pick up is on St Dominique instead of St Lauren. Flooring is coming up. Bathroom fans are v noisy. Small Ba needs hooks for towels.

• Sonia (9/5): El mejor alojamiento de nuestro viaje - Tuvimos la gran suerte de encontrar el alojamiento a última hora cuando la cancelación de nuestro vuelo de regreso nos obligó a quedarnos tres noches más en Montreal..El apartamento es amplio y cómodo .Está muy bien equipado con todo tipo de electrodomésticos y pequeños detalles que hacen la estancia más agradable. También nos gustó la ubicación en un barrio animado, de ambiente alternativo y menos turístico. La comunicación con el dueño ha sido estupenda y nos hemos sentido muy bien acogidos. Muy recomendable. Lo único más incómodo y a tener en cuenta son las estrechas y empinadas escaleras de acceso, aunque acabas por acostumbrarte a ellas.
• Tristram (10/5): Very clean, very spacious unit. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. - 2 bed 2 bath was excellent. Huge kitchen, it felt more like a house than an apartment. I didn't realize it was 2 flights of stairs.
• Marion (10/5): Top notch, spotlessly clean, safe and central location. Could not recommend more highly. - Beautiful spacious apartment very centrally located. Hosts welcoming and helpful. Spotlessly clean. Well thought out so all that the visitor needs is provided. Plenty of space for our family of five. Despite central location it was peaceful overnight. Felt very safe. Many restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Highly recommended. Really cannot fault this place. The only quibbles are very minor indeed- perhaps some hooks on the back of the bathroom doors and a dish towel for the kitchen. Otherwise perfect!

The bed was especially cozy, and I appreciated the quiet environment that allowed for a restful night’s sleep. All essential amenities were provided, and everything was in excellent working condition.

• Mattia (10/5): Perfect location to be in a vibrant neighborhood and explore the city and Mont Royal - The apartment looks newly renovated and is in extremely good conditions. It has a spacious living room with dinner table plus a small computer table. There is a big tv connected to WiFi (fast). The kitchen is also very spacious and has everything you may need including coffee machine, toaster, dish washer, stove with oven, and huge washer and dryer and more. There is 1.5 bathroom that comes handy with 4 people. Two comfortable bedrooms with great mattresses. Hearing work very well, we have not had the chance to use AC. It is located at the first floor (second floor for us standard), be mindful stairs are steep. The area is, in my opinion the best to explore the city but not be with all other tourists and if you like to get a run or hike as Mount Royal is just around the corner. No parking is available but the host is very prompt in providing suggestions and help you avoid fines.
