• Anthea Maginnes (10/5): Lovely apartment - couple in Santiago for 4 nights. - We loved the ground floor apartment. It was beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean with good heating. We felt cosy with the homely blankets and cushions plus beautiful decor. It had everything we needed plus a lovely small garden. Host was excellent and helped immediately with various things, and provided helpful videos and information. Great location. Everything was perfect and thoughtfully designed.

The main park was just a short walk.there was a small supermarket just around the corner and restaurants and another very peaceful park in the next street. I enjoyed walking all around the city but having the Cathedral so close was perfect for me. I honestly don't think anything could be changed. The room was beautifully presented. I made use of spare blankets. Shower was good. Lighting great.

We so much enjoyed this beautiful city and even were able to enjoy nightly entertainment from locals in the square. Highly recommend Pedra Apartments!

El menaje de cocina está desgastado, las sarténes horrorosas, la tostadora muy vieja. El agua apenas sale caliente. Y el suelo del baño levantado. Deja mucho que desear para el precio que tiene, 130 euros la noche no lo merece por mucho que la ubicación sea excepcional.

• Scott (9/5): - Quiet & spacious apartment. Contrary to the listing, it did not have a washer and dryer. It did have free laundry service for one bag but it was wash only not dry .
• janice (8/5): - Fantastic location for pilgrims on the Camino.The setting is lovely and the unit looks out on a lush green area of the city. Guests need to be aware that there are steep and very narrow stairs needed to access the upstairs bedroom. They are not for the faint of heart or those with any sort of mobility or balance issues.
• James (7/5): Excellent location but strange design - The apartment is long and thin but comfortable. It is very close to the Cathedral and restaurants, which was important for us. Could use more vertical space near the bed to store stuff. The bathroom is surrounded by transparent glass looking into the apartment and adjacent hallway, so there's not a lot of privacy in the bathroom or shower.

• eryn (7/5): Decent place, great location - Liked the layout of the apartment and the location. Communication with the host was top notch and she responded quickly to our needs and questions. We were very thankful to have checked in earlier after completing the Camino! The bed downstairs was pitted pretty badly. The shower needs updating, the drain was very slow and it was hard to shower holding the shower handle in one hand and washing with the other. Being on the top floor was nice but surprisingly we heard foot traffic next to us.

• Lara (7/5): Bonito y bien ubicado, pero mala relación calidad-precio - Alojamiento muy bien ubicado. Tienen convenio con un parking cercano y hacen precio (8€/dia). El apartamento está decorado muy bonito. Cama muy cómoda. Fácil check in autónomo. Con el precio que tiene cabe esperar ciertos detalles. En la cocina había jabón para fregar la vajilla pero no había estropajo para poder fregarla, tampoco había ni una tapadera para cocinar en la sartén y la tijera de cocina era una tijera pequeña de papelería. En el apartamento hay mucha humedad, aunque es cierto que dejan encendido un deshumidificador. Informamos de que el primer día habíamos tenido frío y en vez de encender los radiadores o darnos otra solución nos contestaron que si no habíamos visto la manta que había guardada en el mueble. En resumen, el apartamento no está mal pero es muy caro para lo que ofrece.

• Jorge (8/5): Very nice stay - wonderful host - Elena is a very nice, friendly and attentive host. She will attend to any reasonable need you may have. I stayed six nights on the middle floor. It’s a charming, renovated old residence with three apartments (ground floor "0", second floor "1" and third floor "2"). The back of the building faces a very large garden area (in years ago it was a vegetable/fruit garden) - large windows in the front and back of the apartment provide very nice ventilation. Large bedroom and living area, adequate kitchenette and bathroom (though with a small shower stall - typical of older structures). While you must walk a steep incline to reach the Cathedral, it is only two blocks away. The location is very convenient to just anywhere you want to go in the old center of town. Traffic is restricted in this area; so, you should check with Elena before arriving in your car. Though the apartment does not have a cloth washing machine, Elena will give you one free voucher to take your clothes to a laundry right across the street from the apartment and they will do the washing and drying for you - a very nice touch. Noise from neighbors' apartments, but normally quiet between midnight and 8:00am.

The apartment is in a great location just off the main square and Cathedral. Our host Elena was very attentive making sure that everything was okay with the apartment and even recommended places to visit. The apartment was comfortable and clean and the shower was lovely. It is in a great position to easily walk to the abundance of places to eat and drink. Only a little niggle in that the kettle was a travel kettle with a faulty lid which did not stay down and kept popping up so the kettle did not switch off automatically.

We had the apartment with the small balcony on the third floor and it was sufficient enough for our family of three.The staff provided video instructions of how to use or operate many apliances, entry, bed and other things. Bathroom was tight, but funtcional. It also had Keyless entry using a code fir the main door and then the apartment. Bedroom had a bouble bed put together to form a queen size bed, but was comfortable. Also the sofa bed was comfortable for my adult son. Sounds at night are very limited, though it was cold and raining most of the time. It might be an issue if it waa summer and hot when you need to keep the windows open to cool down. Overall great experience.

The bed was verry comfortable , and the apartment is realy quiet at nigth . The bathroom has no privacy , so you have to be comfortable with people watching you shower or even go on the toilet. And if you are staying longer than a few days there are minimal storage.

Tiny kettle that wasn’t working well and the hairdryer was very basic.

I didn’t mind that there were a lot of stairs to climb because it was worth it for the lovely daylight, quietness & views.

• Mervyn (8/5): Cute place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. - 1 minute walk to the Cathedral. Quiet street. Close to eateries but away from the throngs of people. Studio was well supplied. Easy checkin and key less entry. Hostess was very helpful and responsive.

The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, providing us with a fantastic list of suggestions for restaurants and things to do in Santiago, besides accommodating a request we made. The location was unbeatable, close to Plaza de Obradoiro and Santiago de Compostela Cathedral. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Santiago! Space was a little tight for 4 people

• Hauke (10/5): Nice and convenient apartment just a short walk away from the legendary Cathedral. - We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment, which also had a small terrace at the back. The living/sleeping area was spacious, the kitchen and the bath completely sufficient and convenient. All very clean and the Cathedral is just a very short walk away. Nothing - the only thing you have to know (and we knew), that you usually have to walk to the house as it is located in a traffic restricted area.
