• Madeleine (8/5): Great stay but not as centrally located as I thought. - Super nice accommodations the only complaint is that it’s not very centrally located. It’s a 15 minute walk into the main downtown shopping and eating area and train station. The location was a bit far from restaurants

• Renaud-Ouellette (9/5): Confortable mais socialement froid. - Bon endroit si vous avez besoin de travailler. La salle commune est agréable. Il manque d'ustensiles pour la cuisine. Par exemple il y a un petit four mais aucun plat en alluminum pour faire chauffer ses trucs. Également pas de couteau qui voupe des légumes ou viandes. Juste des petits couteaux à beurre. Le personnel n'est pas très chaleureux ou amical. Pendant mon séjour, des filles qui travaille pour l'hotel dormait dans le dortoir. Elles semblaient agacé par la présence des voyageuses en dortoir. Bref, ce n'est vraiment pas un endroit pour faire connaissance. C'est plutôt froid.

• Sandra (9/5): Comfortable and stylish, much better than the photos online. - Loved the style and fit out. Great lounge space and good bar. Great staff who were very helpful and interested. Very comfortable bed. Great to be able to store our bags while on the Shimanami ride. Would have preferred proper cups in the room for tea.
• Lindsey (8/5): Nice enough - It was very nice, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable The bathroom smelled very bad. It was a bit of a walk from anything interesting including restaurants. The front desk person was not welcoming and was a little condescending.
• Veronica (9/5): Lovely stay - Clean and comfortable, and the room was large and spacious (especially by Japanese standards). Staff were relaxed and helpful. There was a good communal kitchen. Short walk into main part of town which was fine for us, but maybe not as close as some other accommodation options? Could’ve fit in more of a workspace (e.g. tables and benches) without cramping it. The window into the bathroom was a bit odd, though at least there’s a curtain.
• Jill (10/5): - Very helpful staff. Our laundry was done in a few hours. They has a great SK map, in English, which was really helpful on our ride. Very comfortable and larger than average room. The noise from the shared shower was a little loud in the evening. Our room. Was close to it, may not be an issue with other rooms.

• Gerald (6/5): Good price but glad it was only a one night stay! - The bed was very comfortablez Location, a little too far from the centre of things and, I’m sorry, the bedroom. I don’t like the wash basin being in the corner of the bedroom and a see through wall around the toilet and shower. A little privacy is important at times!

• Joseph (10/5): The room was one of the coziest rooms we’ve ever stayed in. - So calming and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully put together. The beds were huge and fluffy, breakfast was simple and tasty, staff was very kind and helpful and did our laundry for about $6 (1000 yen).

• Lukas (9/5): Perfektes Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Onomichi. Preis-, Leistung ist super. - Gute und ruhige Lage in Onomichi. Etwa 7-8 Minuten zu Fuss vom Bahnhof. Ideal für einen Aufenthalt dort. Schönes modernes und renoviertes Hotel mit komfortablen und grossen Zimmern für japanische Verhältnisse. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, welches gut Englisch spricht.

• Kathrin (5/5): Don’t stay here - Great listing photos. Western style mattress. Very disappointing stay. Bathroom has a constant moldy smell and room has very bad air quality and stinks. Very thin walls (and large gap around doorframe) so you hear lots of noise. The platform bed frame is downright dangerous with sharp wooden edges. To hang up the window curtain you have to stand on a wobbly stool. Our luggage was left unattended in the hallway for hours prior to our arrival. We booked the hotel because of the great breakfast reviews but we were told that there would not be any breakfast served because of personnel issues.

• ポチッタ (10/5): 尾道でお手頃、快適に泊まるならここ - 駅から徒歩圏内で女性専用ドミトリーがお手頃。近くにイオンがある。ドミトリーの部屋の中と外両方にシャワーとトイレがあった。バスタオル、ドライヤーあり。ドミトリーの中も広く、荷物を広げられる。水回りも清潔で、連休中だったが特に混み合うことなく使えた。朝ごはんはオプションだが、近くに揚げたてのがんもどきがおいしい朝食カフェがあるのでぜひ行ってみてほしい。 特になし
• Seiko (7/5): デザイン性は高いが駅から遠く、次回も泊まる必然性なさそう - ロビーやバーコーナー、共有スペースなどデザイン性が高くオシャレな雰囲気。朝食はチェックイン時にオプションでつけることができ、税込1,000円で握りたてのおにぎり2個と美味しいお味噌汁で満足感高かった。 繁忙期でドミトリーのみ空きがあり親子2人でステイ。女性のみドミトリーで14名くらい収容される部屋だったが、離れたベッドの上段を指定された。チェックイン時点で上下段セットで空いているところがあったので、もっと配慮した配置にしてほしかった、残念。 駅からも遠く、あえてここに泊まる必要性はなかったと感じた。

Walking distance from Bike rental and local station while public bus service stops 250m away for Onomichi Shinkansen. They do luggage storage if you start the Shimanami cycle after your stay Base of bed bigger than nattrass so you can easily hit your legs/feet adainst the hard edge
• Martin (9/5): - Beautiful and really spacious room with wooden elements, a comfortable bed, clean design and walking shower. The staff were great, speaking perfect English. Welcoming and well suited for cyclists.The location is ok, about a 10 minute walk from the JR station. Sometimes the beautiful design is not always functional. Did not love the sink to be outside of the bathroom and instead in the bedroom. Plus no sink light so it was really hard to clean teeth and impossible to put contacts in. Although gorgeous view from the window, since it was on the first floor facing the shared area with kitchen there was no sense of privacy. Unfortunately breakfast starts at 8 and it is not a quick one, so if you're planning to start your cycling soon, make different arrangements.

The location is a little out of town but we enjoyed the walk through quiet streets. It’s a flat walk from the train station.

• Ingrid (9/5): - Det var veldig behagelig, hyggelig og rent hos lemonsea onomichi. Deres japansk frokost og kaffe var veldig god! Vi leide sykler av hotellet for å sykle Shimanami-turen. Syklene var helt flotte og vi vil absolutt anbefale alle å ta turen. Takk for oss! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!
