When we got back from the safari we were able to do a late check out which really helped us organise ourselves for our onward travel. The place is spotless and the room was huge. Auch die Safari die wir hier gebucht haben hat sich sehr gelohnt. Der Fahrer hat ein Auge dafür gehabt wo Tiere sind und konnte uns auch einiges zu den Tieren erklären. Eine rund um tolle Erfahrung.
• Laura (10/5): Wunderschönes Cottage mitten im Grünen! - Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Veranda ist auch toll und die große Hängematte ein absolutes Highlight. Die Lage mitten im Grünen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war klasse! Der Gastgeber und sein Team sind auch toll und wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt.

Great accomodation, huge room, amazing bathroom with waterfall shower, set in a beautiful peaceful garden. The host organised the safari and it was amazing and nice to have some time out for some fruit and snacks during the safari. We also ate dinner here and it was delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough, it was worth 4 times the amount we paid.

• Josefine (9/5): Ett nytt och fräscht boende med vänlig personal - Rummet var fräscht med en härlig uteplats. Det fanns både ac och varmvatten i duschen. All personal var supertrevlig och jag fick till och med dricka när jag checkade in. Ägaren var väldigt behjälplig med att anordna en morgonsafari åt mig och visade mig även runt i hans underbara trädgård. Allt var bra.
• Colin (10/5): Tiptop, gerne wieder! - Es ist schön abgelegen, liegt in schöner Natur. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und äusserst hilfsbereit. Er hat u. a. die Safari, das Taxi zur nächsten Unterkunft etc. organisiert und viele unserer Wünsche direkt umgesetzt. Wir konnten wirklich gut dort entspannen und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen! Das Frühstück war lecker und direkt auf der eigenen Terrasse zur Wunschzeit zu haben. Auch gab es die Möglichkeit dort Abendessen zu bekommen. Sehr gerne wieder! Wir wünschen alles Gute für die Zukunft Ps: in der Unterkunft wären ein paar schriftliche Infos zu Aktivitäten/Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der Nähe und evtl. ein kleines Menü zum Auswählen eines Abendessens toll. -

• Sylvain (10/5): Perfect stay and safari ! - We had an excellent night at EdenHaven Cottage! The place is secluded, surrounded by nature, very peaceful, and close to the park. The room is very clean with a large bed, and the bathroom is also very spacious with hot water. The terrace is perfect for relaxing, and we even had a huge hammock to lounge in together. We asked to have dinner on site and it was delicious. Breakfast is also served on the terrace, it’s generous and tasty. The entire staff is smiling, attentive, and truly caring. They organized our safari, which was simply perfect. Our driver was very friendly, explained many things about the park, and showed us lots of animals, some well hidden, that we would never have seen without him. He even prepared a huge snack for us in the middle of the safari. We highly recommend this place and strongly suggest booking the safari with them! Nothing, everything was perfect

• Alexander (10/5): Eine Traumunterkunft mitten in der Natur - Klasse Unterkunft mit unfassbar schöner Natur drumherum. Wir haben hier zwei Tage verbracht und haben über die Unterkunft direkt eine wunderschöne Safari gebucht (preislich absolut fair). Bis jetzt unsere schönste Unterkunft in unseren zwei Wochen Sri Lanka. Abendessen und Frühstück sind ebenfalls absolut klasse und mehr als ausreichend, selbst für sehr hungrige Menschen. Außerdem war der Gastgeber extrem freundlich, war immer für Rückfragen verfügbar und hat sogar unseren Transport in die nächste Stadt organisiert. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Nichts

Es wurde uns bis zur Terrasse Dinner gebracht, welches sehr lecker war. Die Gastgeber sind super herzlich. Die Safari haben wir auch über die Unterkunft gebucht und es war ein Traum ☺️ Nichts zu bemängeln

It is very modern, quiet, right in nature and offering everyone you need for a great safari. We booked it directly over the hotel and we even went to more separate areas during the safari, therefore not encountering other crowds during the safari. The shower in the bathroom was very special, and the hammock in front of the cabin truly amazing. We were warmly welcomed and would have loved to extend our stay for 2 nights. Das Essen war top und alle sehr herzlich. Die Safari die wir über ihn besucht haben war auch hervorragend. Würden wieder kommen und eine fette Empfehlung für andere Aussprechen. Preis Leistung ist überdurchschnittlich. Da es ja Mitten in der Natur ist sind Moskitos 🦟 überall draußen - auf jeden Fall Mückenschutz mitbringen.
• Sofia (10/5): - My friend and I stayed at EdenHaven Cottage for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The host was extremely helpful, he arranged a perfect transfer for us from Hiriketiya to their location and another one when we left for Ella. The accommodation offers dinner and lunch options for only 6€ p.p, we had dinner there both nights and it was delicious and served on the terrance which was very lovely and made the experience feel extra special. Breakfast is also served on the private terrace and it’s maybe basic but delicious! We also asked for a laundry service and our clothes were ready perfectly on time before check out on our last day :)) We also booked the Safari through the accommodation and we absolutely recommend it!! So far it’s the best accommodation we’ve stayed in here in Sri Lanka :)) Maybe the pillows could be a bit more comfortable but that everything else was perfect :)

The safari could be booked directly through the host and was perfectly organized by him. The room was truly exceptional and very close to nature, with an open-air shower that made the stay a unique and memorable experience.

• Verity (9/5): Great stay and exceptional service - We had a fab stay at Eden Haven Cottage - the room was comfortable and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We arranged our safari with them and our transport on to Ella after our stay. Whilst there isn’t a restaurant on site, they served breakfast and dinner on the balcony outside our cottage. The food was tasty and generously portioned. They also provided ample drinking water. Nothing really - we had a fab time. Although a menu for the food options for dinner might have been useful

I proprietari sono estremamente gentili, disponibili e sempre sorridenti, facendoci sentire accolti fin dal primo momento. • Paulina (10/5): Schönes Cottage - idealer Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari - Sehr schönes Cottage, geräumig und sauber. Die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert und die Ausstattung war auch gut. Gemütliches Bett. Das Badezimmer ist Outdoor und hat eine Regendusche. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, man braucht ca 15 Minuten zu Fuß zur Hauptstraße, aber dafür ist es ruhig. Mit dem Auto ist man auch schnell im Nationalpark für eine Safari. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen

• Marcel (10/5): Idyllischer und gepflegter Ort - Wir haben das Familienzimmer gebucht und waren begeistert. Das Zimmer ist neu und modern eingerichtet, mit allem was man brauch. Besonders gut hat uns auch das halb offene Badezimmer mit der Regendusche gefallen. Das Frühstück war lecker und wir konnten optional Lunch und Dinner über die Unterkunft bestellen und auf unserer Terrasse genießen. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Man fühlt sich wohl umsorgt und bei jeder Wiederkehr wurden wir mit einem Kaltgetränk willkommengeheissen. Auch die Safari wurde direkt vom Host für uns organisiert und war toll.

• Lucie (10/5): 11/10 accommodation! - This was fantastic accommodation. Run by Anju and his family. The photos don’t do it justice - it’s way nicer, more modern. The bed is comfortable, I loved the shower with skyview and the net in front of the cottage to relax. We also took the safari day trip arranged by Anju with safari guide Patum and it was just perfect. We got a lovely breakfast inside the park and in the afternoon also lunch. During the tour there was always cold water and we got coconut to drink. And we saw plenty of elephants, buffalos, lizzards, deers, two kinds of monkeys, birds and much more! In the end, Anju arranged taxi driver to our next destination. Totally recommended!! That we didnt stay longer 😆
• Claudia Elena (10/5): - Nos quedamos en este alojamiento para estar cerca del parque de Udawalawe, ya que los safaris por lo general comienzan bastante temprano, y sin duda cumplió con las expectativas. Tienen varias habitaciones independientes con baño privado, muy bien equipadas, cómodas y limpias. El desayuno también está muy bien y las cantidades son generosas. El alojamiento está algo alejado del centro y el camino de acceso no es asfaltado, pero es muy fácil y rápido llegar a las zonas más céntricas en tuk tuk. No reservamos el safari con el alojamiento, pero sí ofrecen varios packs de safaris a precios razonables.

We loved the lunch we had when we arrived, and bird watching on the net outside our room. Special mention to the natural shower!! Such a lovely touch! We also saw fireflies around the property at night!! Nothing! It was perfect.

Great room with everything needed inkluding the strongest water pressure in the shower during the entire trip. The owner is really kind and helpfull. We already booked a safari online, what was no problem. We got a welcome drink and breakfast after coming back from the safari. The owner organised us a driver to Tangalle at a really good price.
• Norma (10/5): Lo mejor de Udawalawe - El alojamiento está ubicado en Udawalawe, cerca del centro pero a la vez alejado del ruido y de la civilización. Por la tarda/noche solo escuchas los pajaritos y las ranas y da mucha paz. Las instalaciones son impresionantes. Anju (el propietario) y su hotel es, hasta ahora, lo mejor que hemos visto en Sri Lanka tras una semana viajando. Repetiríamos sin duda! Si pasáis por Udawalawe para hacer el Safari en National Park, no dudéis en alojaros aquí. Las habitaciones cuentan con nevera, mosquitera, aire acondicionado, terraza privada, baño privado con agua caliente y todo tipo de comodidades. Un especial agradecimiento también para su ayudante, que nos trajo unos zumos de bienvenida muy ricos💕 .

Wir haben eine Udawalawe Safari über EdenHaven gebucht, die ein voller Erfolg war. Danach wurde ein Abendessen für uns organisiert, da wir nicht mehr losziehen wollten. Die Kommunikation war sehr unkompliziert. Preis-Leistung top!
• sandra (10/5): - Cet hébergement a été le plus beau de tout notre voyage au Sri Lanka. Il s’agit d’une petite cabane charmante avec une chambre, une salle de bain, et une terrasse équipée d’un fauteuil et d’une table. Un réfrigérateur est également à disposition. La chambre est très confortable et dégage une agréable odeur de bois travaillé. Si je devais m’échapper de mon quotidien pour deux semaines de calme et de détente, c’est ici que je viendrais : le lieu est à la fois apaisant et accueillant. L’hôte prépare un petit-déjeuner digne d’un roi et met même à disposition des bouteilles d’eau. Nous avons tout simplement adoré notre séjour ! /
• Francesco (10/5): - Lovely cottage surrounded by nature. The room was spacious and very clean. We booked a safari with them and everything was just perfect! The owner and the staff are amazing, super friendly and kind. Definitely recommended!

Aivan ihana ja rauhallinen paikka, sekä paikan omistaja (ja myös muut työntekijät) mahtavaa porukkaa :) täällä pidetään asiakkaista huolta. Heidän kauttaan järjestyi kuljetukset sekä safari. Mökki oli todella siisti ja kauniisti sisustettu, ihana oma terassi mihin tuotiin aamupala. Toivottavasti mahdollisimman moni löytää tämän paikan :) SUOSITTELEN!

• Joachim (10/5): Idyllischer Ausgangspunkt zur Safari - Es ist ein etwas vom Trubel abgelegenes Plätzchen mit einer liebevoll und neuwertig eingerichteten Unterkunft mit großer Hängematte vor der Tür. Der junge Vermieter war sehr motiviert, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Frühstück und (auf Wunsch) das Abendessen werden frisch zubereitet und zur Terrasse des Cottages gebracht (ein Restaurant ist erst in Planung). Wir haben unsere Safari (und ein Shuttle-Taxi zur nächsten Unterkunft) direkt hier gebucht und es hat alles super geklappt. Wir (m/w/Kind 11) hoffen, dass noch viele Gäste in den Genuss der Unterkunft kommen.

• Botond (10/5): THE best spot of the Island! - Just wow! After trying several, this is my favorite accommodation on Sri Lanka! Located in a calm but friendly neighborhood, but the main road is also walkable (approx. 15 min). All these small villas are designed perfectly and together with the garden they are kept in a great shape by the owner and his team. Very friendly, comfortable and surrounded by the jungle. Loved it! Check out the “waterfall” shower in the bathroom, wish to have one at home :D + the safari which they offer was also well organized and fun! Fully recommended!
• Olivier (9/5): - Charmants et confortables bungalows pas chers où se reposer avant ou après son safari (que nous sommes très contents d’avoir réservé auprès d’eux). Jeune couple sympathique. Les lumières extérieures et la nourriture qui manque un peu d’originalité.

• Eva (10/5): - Dies war die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise. Die Zimmer sind groß, hübsch eingerichtet und sauber. Auch der Außenbereich ist umwerfend - mit großem Balkon und großer Hängematte. Wir konnten abends sogar einen Frosch entdecken. Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) ist super lecker. Wir haben außerdem eine half day Safari (7h) über die Unterkunft gebucht, welche ein unvergessliches Erlebnis war. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst zuvorkommend!

Nicht, es war alles perfekt!
• eric (10/5): - C'est fabuleux,tout est très plaisant, notre hôte très gentil agréable et serviable, le bungalow magnifique super bien conçu et très propre, l'environnement super calme et dans la végétation luxuriante, les repas excellents et copieux, et le safari est également proposé. Endroit où l'arrêt de 2 jours ou plus est indispensable . J'aimerais vraiment y retourner !! Je garde l'adresse !!
• Julia (9/5): A pleasant surpise! - The rooms were cozy and clean, the bathroom was big and modern and the outside area was very pretty. The owner was kind and helpful, we were extremely pleased with our experience. We also booked a safari with the hotel and we really enjoyed it. Our guide had a lot of knowledge and was very mindful with the animals in the park. The place is a little bit hidden, and the road to get there, a bit rough. Other than that, it's great. Payment by card is not available, but the owner offered us a ride to the nearest ATM to retrieve cash, so it was not a problem.

• Claudia (10/5): Bellissimo alloggio immerso nel verde - Bellissimo alloggio di nuova costruzione immerso nella natura. Una vera oasi di relax. Stanza e bagno moderni e puliti. Abbiamo potutto mangiare all'aperto, nella splendida veranda della nostra camera.
• Marco (10/5): Wunderschöne Unterkunft! - Die beste Unterkunft, die wir in Sri Lanka hatten zu einem unglaublich günstigen Preis! Die Ausstattung gleicht dem europäischen Standard. Der junge Inhaber ist sehr offen und freundlich und macht alles möglich! Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut und von der Mutter des Inhabers gekocht. Die Safari haben wir über die Unterkunft gebucht, wurden direkt dort abgeholt und wieder abgesetzt. Die Unterkunft ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen!!! Perfekter Aufenthalt in sehr schöner Unterkunft!

• Anaisetze (10/5): Calma en un entorno ideal. - Calma, buen trato y un entorno ideal. Para nosotros fue el mejor alojamiento de las dos semanas que estubimos por la isla. Nos encantó absolutamente todo. Fueron muy amables en todo momento. El desayuno fue muy completo. Sin duda lo recomendaría.
• Kanchana (9/5): A beautiful, clean, and modern cottage with a great atmosphere. The hospitality was excellent and we felt very welcome. - We had a wonderful time at EdenHaven Cottage. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It was a perfect base for our trip to Udawalawe.
• Valentina (9/5): Perfect stay - The room was very big and clean, the bathroom was amazing! They can arrange fabulous meals and safari upon request. There are hammocks available in the close garden and is full of trees everywhere 🤩 the only thing that I can complain about is the air conditioning, noisy, and cannot be very well regulated. Absolutely a fairy price for this room, 100% recommend. AC
