• Oana (3/5): Nothing like advertised - pay only when you are clear what you are getting - Location is great, good quality bed (very small if not solo traveler!) and extra towels. Nice touch with a few coffee capsules. Easy to get the keys. The room (not a one bedroom apartment !) is nothing like advertised. Basically it's one person who owns a few studios in the building and they are letting out all of them with the pictures of, what I can assume to be, the largest one. In reality the description and the size does not match the claims. There is no "serviced" kitchen - yes, there is a coffee corner and, in the second place I was offered, there is a hot stove (no pots - so that's pointless) Still waiting to receive a receipt as they will not send it via booking.com
• Gary (10/5): Perfect location, great value and very nice host - The location was perfect, a 20 min walk to the Albert Hall, Daylesford organics was just across the road for a healthy breakfast or lunch. The room had a nice size bedroom with table and chairs, kitchen and bathroom. Excellent value and the perfect accommodation for a short stay. The host was very helpful and returned my phone charger that I left behind by mistake. Tea and coffee supplied Nothing to fault (if you are a tea drinker, grab a small bottle of milk for the fridge)

• katie (7/5): Comfortable stay in a great location. - Great location. Lovely clean sheets and clean. Beatrix was super helpful. It is a single glazed room and so very noisy through the night. Take ear plugs!
• martina (9/5): - The communication with Beatrix was easy and smooth. The location is just perfect, 8 minutes' walk from South Kensington station and in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. The room has everything one needs, either for a longer stay or a weekend: a well-equipped kitchen (very handy for breakfast or supper in), a washing machine, a super comfy bed, and a proper shower - hot and good water pressure! (nerdy comment, but there's nothing worse than a poor water shower pressure!). Found my spot for the next time in London :)

• Stephanie (10/5): A stress free stay in London - Beatrix is a wonderful host. So helpful all the time. You will definitely be looked after and feel at home. The location is perfect. Just what I wanted to be in a quiet area.. The room was lovely too. The lifts are quite slow, but that is the building not anyones fault. Just a bit of patience needed .

I’d like to mention the kindness of Beatrix, who was always available to respond to our questions and gave us all the instructions needed for the apartment. We had a wonderful stay here.

• Peter (9/5): Like a Piet Mondrian jewel box. - Warm, comfortable, clean and cosy. Uncluttered decor, nice view of London rooftops. Excellent location. Perfect for a short city break. Kitchen equipment a bit limited. Only two of the four lifts in this block working during our visit, heavily used, so we sometimes had to access this seventh floor apartment by the stairs. Nothing too serious, however.

• Jacqueline (10/5): Comfortable, spotless and very safe property in a convenient location with an excellent host who responds very quickly. - The property was close to South Kensington underground so was very quick and easy to walk to. The property itself was very secure and as a solo traveler that is important to me. The whole place was spotless, it was tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable and all linens and towels were provided. As there was a hairdryer onsite it meant less for me to carry. The view from the window was excellent, seeing London at night is always amazing. I would most definitely book to stay here again. Nothing.

• Collins (9/5): A safe and quiet retreat, just a stones throw from Sloane Square - Had a really great stay here - met the host on arrival, who was lovely. The apartment was clean, modern - I felt safe and had everything that I needed for a 1-night mid-week stay. Location was perfect, just a short walk from Sloane Square. Looking forward to staying again next time I'm in the city.

• JOANNA (5/5): Single glazed windows meant a very noisy night - Comfortable bed and nice bathroom Owner had got the wrong date for our visit so our room wasn’t ready. We had to wait an hour for her to clean it. She gave us a bottle of wine but it messed our evening plans up. We planned on cooking but only a tiny pan was provided so we had to eat out which cost us a lot of money and stress as my husband is autistic so can’t cope with restaurants, hence to plan to cook which was impossible.

• Evelyn (10/5): - Das Studio hatte alles, was man brauchte und war süß eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen herrlichen Ausblick. Außerdem waren wir in einem zentralen und charmanten Stadteil gelegen und hatten alles dicht bei, was man braucht. Der Aufzug war langsam.
• Katherine (10/5): Excellent value for money in a great location. - The room was light and airy, super clean and in a great location to walk to the Albert Hall, the museums on Exhibition Rd, King’s Rd shops and restaurants and the Saatchi Gallery. My room was on the 7th floor and I had a great view of London. Two green apples and a book that looked interesting to read was left by the bedside. There were multiple electrical outlets and mirrors, especially needed for drying one’s hair. Very nice. It would have been nice if a packet of ground coffee, tea bags had been provided. The building had only 2 slow lifts and one was out of order.

• Andrew (9/5): great location, good value and good communication from host/owner/manager - great location - well appointed room with everything you could need for a short leisure or a longer business trip - some tea and coffee bags were in the kitchenette - plus everything you could need for a visit including fridge washing machine (with washing powder) washing up liquid, kitchen roll, iron and ironing board, and crucially a fan as the room was hot - good wifi - black out blind and curtains - very short walk to a Sainsbury's Local for essential supplies The building lift was small for a busy mansion block which necessitated some minor waiting - slight confusion over the name of the building which was listed as Sloane Cloisters but the name over the main entrance was Chelsea Cloisters - the room in hot weather was warm necessitating fan and windows open which then made the room noisy (suggest bringing eye mask and ear plugs)

• Miki (10/5): I loved Beatrix's studio! I'll definitely be back next time! Thank you Beatrix! - On a high floor with no direct overlooking, so we had the sun all day long. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very nice! It was practical to have the kitchen and washing machine. The windows are single-glazed, so you can hear outside although this didn't bother me much personally.
• Zara (9/5): Great location and modern room but could do with added little extras - We loved how modern the room was and the location was walking distance from kings road we cooked breakfast in the morning and had no frying pan which would have been really useful so had to struggle cooking sausages and bacon in a saucepan, also the shower and the kitchen sink taps was really hot and we couldn’t get cold water to run

• Stephen (2/5): Very poor - Noisy +++ and definitely not value for money! Never again. This has to be the nosiest room I have ever stayed in (and it is a room with a kitchenette in it, not a 1 bedroom flat as it is misleadingly described). I stay in central London a lot, nowhere has ever been this noisy. Single glazed aluminium framed units - seriosuly? You might as well put the bed in the street given the noise levels, which would have the added benefit of not having to listen to other residents talking loudly in the corridor and slamming doors. To add insult to injury, you spend a fortune on plumbed boiling water and kitchen appliances, and seemingly can't be bothered to install blinds that actually fit the window meaning it was uncomfortably hot (no fan or A/C), no privacy, and meaning you are awoken with the sun. In its favour it is reasonably clean and well equipped - but who cares when you can't hear TV properly because of invasive street noise, or can't sleep for the same reason. Oh and a comfortable seat to sit in might not go amiss either rather than sweaty hard plastic chairs or a stall. In comparative terms this place is expensive for what it is and is clearly resting on the laurels of yester-year. A real shame given its prime location. Nowhere near value for money and definitely never to be repeated.
