Guest Reviews
- Michael (8/5): Very unique space - I liked the atmosphere of the place. The Moroccan vibe was there. I did not like the keyless entry to the hotel. Very twitchy. Also no good reading lamp in my room.
- Alan (8/5): Very good -

- Ulises (8/5): Very good -
- Oscar (7/5): Good - Good location
- Travis (2/5): Meat Head Manager. - The location is good and quiet. The manager is a meat head. He played loud music until 1am. That's not acceptable anywhere I know. He was personable. But just dumb.
We booked many months in advance and we're given an ad hoc room located under the stairs. We weren't expecting much, but this was total crap.
- Fern (10/5): My amazing 3 week stay at Lola Atlachinolli, Sayulita..Mexico - Lola Atlachinolli was a fantastic place to stay in the Northside of Sayulita! A great location just a 5 minute walk from the centre of town..much quieter..2 blocks from the Northside Beach..and walking distance on the beach to the centre of town beach. Magdalena, the manager of Lola Atlachinolli is very hospitable, helpful, friendly and makes the stay so welcoming and comfortable! Magdalena gave me many recommendations to enjoy Sayulita and keeps Lola Atlachinolli immaculate and clean, providing daily cleanings of the rooms. There is a kitchen area and tables in the colorful courtyard to chat with other guests. Great security, hot showers, quiet place..I loved my stay there for 3 weeks! I highly recommend Lola Atlachinolli! The Northside neighborhood is very cool with restaurants, bars, stores and great area to walk day and night! Nothing..All was excellent!
- Marius (10/5): cozy hostel with a good location and an unbeatable price - good price the pool was a bit dirty
- Janice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (9/5): Superb - Very clean and super helpful staff It’s a walking distance from the beach and there is access to full kitchen.
- Petra (8/5): Highly recommended Hotel in a perfect location and a great value for money! - Lola Atlachinolli Hotel is an excellent place at a perfect location. Only a few walking minutes to the bus terminal, to the beach and to Sayulita center and far enough to enjoy quiet and peaceful nights.
Magdalena who is the soul of this place presented a very warm welcoming and did everything to make my stay very comfortable. I booked first for one night and extended my stay for another five nights.
- Tanya (9/5): Really happy I chose this place to stay - I really liked this place because it had a lot of character but it also ticked my 'traveller-boxes'...the little things like a decent mirror, hangers for my weary clothes, drawers that enabled me to unpack my things for a change, liquid soap for the sink and shower etc, are often missing in cheaper accommodations but this room had everything I needed. Happy with all
- Laura (9/5): Superb - Amazing value for a very comfortable space at the best location! Easy walk to the beach and to the center without being too busy or noisy. Staff was friendly and there is a full kitchen available for use, as well as filtered water, pool, and decent wifi. Would definitely stay here again!
- Bethan (7/5): Good - Lovely staff, good communication, and cosy room. Great shower. Very noisy - town (it's a party town) but the other guests. And there's no sound proofing in the rooms. The hotel does have rules about silent hours but they weren't respected by the other guests staying when I was there unfortunately. The manager was really lovely and helpful when I spoke to her about it
- Arne (9/5): Superb -
- Nora (9/5): Superb - Very kind, thoughtful and supportive staff!!
- Habberstad (5/5): It was sufficient for a night but not much more. - They were able to let us check in early, which was a godsend because my wife was ill. The building is a fascinating relic. I sorta felt like I was in the movie Casablanca. It has a lovely courtyard. Our room was stuffy and smelled weird. The bed was exceptionally hard. I can imagine a "suffering artist" staying here to make art that felt "authentic."
- Adam (4/5): Decent. I think it was fair to say we got what we paid for. We didn’t want to shell out lots on accommodation and were h - Nice staff. Convenient location. Small pool. Comes with a small shared kitchen. The hotel itself was very quiet (not the street though) Drinking water was not really drinkable. Toilets could smell sewag-y. I don’t think all rooms were like this but our room got a lot of noise from the street. No hot water. WiFi not great.
- Barry (6/5): Easy. Close to bus station - Location No toilet seat, entry door latch not secure. But it is in a hostel and didn’t have issue, but did keep valuables with me
- Kristina (5/5): Passable - The room was very small and cramped. The pictures showed a very different set up. The "kitchen" space was just a sink and stove in a tiny are behind the check in desk and was not set up to actually use. The staff was kind and welcoming but unfortunately would not book again.
- Pavel (8/5): Very good - Nice location a bit away from the downtown area, and close to the North side of Sayulita. The beach is around 10 min away by foot. There are many nice local places for tacos, breakfasts, and groceries.
There is a small communal kitchen, so that you can cook your own meal if you want. Potable water is available as well.
The staff was always available and ready to help, even if sometimes there could be some language barriers.
The place is clean, and the inner yard is welcoming. There was always hot water in the shower.
The hotel is simple but a great value for money. Thanks to the location, you don't get the noises of downtown parties, but there is noise from the traffic (especially in the morning). But it's nothing ear plugs cannot help you with.
- Alejandro (7/5): Good -
- Arne (9/5): Superb - Beautiful riad, very good value and a warm staff.
- Bart (6/5): Pleasant -
- Maximilian (8/5): Very good - Nice Place

Nice people Very Poor wifi Service in Roms
Poor Kitchen
- Marquez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jordan (8/5): Very good -
- Nikki (10/5): Amazing space and great price for the location! Close to bus and beach - Amazing clean space and good ventilation in the room. Clean and comfy
- Nikki (10/5): Cute Moroccan style space right near the beach - Amazing cute space and wonderful vibe, I loved the room and the manager was so kind ! Such a cute morrocoan style space. Would be really amazing with a pool! Shower didn't drain properly
- Katharina (5/5): Passable - cheap room in central location Loud environment and also very thin walls so you hear everything. Smelly bathroom. Check in bit complicated, we never met a receptionist.
- Therese (5/5): Passable - The week days was fine but during The weekend The noice in The hotel was loud. The walls are paper thin. We could hear our room neighbours jawn. Other guests coming home in The middle of The night being super noicy waking us up and room neighbours being super loud in The early morning. NO door to The toilet. The toilet is basically in The bedroom. I personally think The place is overpriced for what you get. Kitchen didnt inspire us to Cook but there is one. Friendly staff. Check in was a bit confusing.
- Faith (8/5): Very good - Better than prior reviews, I found it clean comfortable and private and really like the location. Easy check in and out. Rooms a bit dark and small like a convent.
- Alp (4/5): OK - Location, decoration, price Doesn't take credit card, problem with septic system (room smells bad at times). Uncomfortable, cheap bed, bad lighting
- Pommeline (3/5): Poor - Didnt have hot water the first night and seemed like they did not want to fix it fast. 2nd morning we did have hot water after asking for it a couple of times.
A Lot of noise from the street from early in the morning.
Room was not ready on arrival.
Very very basic for the price that we paid or the price they ask for.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielb1996 (6/5): Pleasant - The bed was nice and comfy. Bathroom had everything besides soap. The first gave us the wrong room and then put us in a room without a fan. Another guest had the keys to the room so we had to wait until he comes back.
- Georgios (4/5): it’s fine for a last minute book for a night before you get a bus to leave - It’s near bus station Building, rooms, stuff, very dirty, smelly
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - friendly hosts, comfortable bed.
- Mariana (6/5): Pleasant - Wi-Fi in the room and common areas was good to work during the day; patio is nice; water for free at the entrance to refill your bottle The room did not breathe at all and was humid all the time; every time we took a quick shower, the floor in the bedroom would get flooded (big infiltration issue); I would recommend AC in Sayulita as a requirement for guests booking something as fans were not enough
- Sergio (7/5): OK stay - affordable and does the job - Affordable hotel, nor far from Sayulita’s center. Sleeping in the summer without AC is hard, no card acceptance, room was small, poorly lit (only a small window) and bathroom was also very small.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- González (10/5): Exceptional - It was a great place tu crash the night in Sayulita! In future times we'll consider it again. I liked everything!
