- Cheng (8/5): -
- Suraya (6/5): - The villa is amazing but the road to the villa is very tricky and quite dangerous as it only small path. Hard for grab car to come inside.
- Lisa (8/5): - The dirt track leading up to the Villa.
- Dolors (9/5): Sitio tranquilo con arrozales al lado - Comodidad en las camas, limpieza y personal atento Sitio un poco escondido y camino oscuro y sin asfaltar a la llegada
- Yang (10/5): Worth the price! - The villa was comfortable and good for chilling. Host was nice and helpful. It would be alot better if there is an air conditioner in living and dining area.
- Sandra (9/5): -
- ANNIE ERN NIE (7/5): Not bad but not good - Clean, spacious, ensuite bathrooms, cold air conditioning which is critical in this heat! Good location in Canggu area however the villa is quite far away from the street. Meaning it’s hidden deep amongst an alley & you wouldn’t really find it unless you went looking (Some Gojek/Grab drivers refuse to drive in due to the narrow alley so you’d have to walk out to the Main Street which is about an 8-9 mins walk - be careful if you are travelling with elderly family members)
Hot water runs out after 5 mins of showering & the living room does not have air conditioning.

- Kelly (8/5): Great location and beautiful view! - The location was great, right in the heart of Canggu, but because it's surrounded by rice fields, it seemed like it was far away and quiet. There was no comfortable seating for relaxing in the house. The lounge in the living area is more like a bench seat. A comfortable chair would have been super appreciated after a long day of travelling.
- Clark (9/5): Relaxing Stay - Great villa! If you are thinking about booking you should! It is in a great location right off the Main Street but there is minimal traffic noise. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Pool is lovely and there are inflatables too. We were able to grab from the villa but sometimes staff found it confusing to get directly to the door. Staff reply promptly and are always there to help.

- Aggi (3/5): Bali has an abundance of high quality and affordable villas, wouldn’t recommend this one. - The whole point of a stand-alone villa is the privacy, safety and security and accessibility that sadly none of this provides. The price is cheap but for a reason so book at your own risk. It has potential to be good but a lot needs to be changed, mainly being the lack of an external wall that just gives that feeling of being in a more enclosed and secure environment. Positives were bedsheets were clean and wifi was working. - Lack of Privacy - stayed Jul 14-16 and there was a building site next door so prepare for noise/ workers onsite. While the workers didn’t bother us, noise was a disturbance. Two bedrooms face the front and feel exposed as you don’t enter from internally. The lounge has no curtains so we didn’t feel comfortable sitting there at night. Due to lack of wall or barrier, you can see the workers several feet away and anyone can see in if they walk up.
- Safety & Security - as many reviews noted, the wall around the villa is pointless as it’s so low. Anyone over 5ft could scale so a security coded door serves no purpose! We chose not to sleep in two of the rooms and slept in the one that was inside keeping it locked. Personally wouldn’t recommend if you’re a single traveller, females, with young kids or anyone looking to relax. Biggest issue that added to our unease was two staff entering the property without warning. Regardless of whether excuse was legitimate (they claimed they were looking for a lost key), they should have messaged or at least knocked for courtesy. If we hadn’t been there, they would have let themselves into the villa itself. This was within hours of check in so we felt very uncomfortable and requested a refund & to leave which was denied. The back perimeter has a wall ‘decorated’ with broken shards - suppose a deterrent to unwanted visitors? - but is just off-putting. More sense to invest in quality security measures
- Accessibility - reviews mention it isn’t easy to locate. That isn’t the issue as it’s off the main road near The Common, more that it’s tricky for Grab drivers to navigate down the narrow path. To avoid damage to their cars, we would walk the dirt path and meet them at the end. Again not ideal for those with mobility issues or those who don’t want to walk through mud (when it rains). Also not that fun in the dark at night as one can imagine, especially if you have a lot of luggage or get nervous about remote surroundings

- Cristian (9/5): Modern house with nice pool in a quiet area - It's a modern and clean house, in a quiet area, in a rice field with a very nice pool. The staff and the manager were very nice and responsive. Kitchen not very equiped(only 2 forks, no toaster, not so many glases, plastic plates. There was a site next to the house and so a bit noisy. It needs also some exterior facilities like a table with chairs and a shadow place.
- Ellie (10/5): Would definitely recommend staying here! - We had the best stay here. The property is in an amazing location, a close walk to lots of bars and shops but in a really peaceful location surrounded by rice fields. The hosts were excellent, great communication and very clean villa. The beds were comfy and the pool was amazing! We had no problem being dropped off or picked up by local grabs. N/a
- Rhys (10/5): 10/10 - 3 bedroom all ensuite bathrooms. Full kitchen. Tall double door fridge/freezer. Hot, room or cold water fountain with purified water in kitchen. King beds and air con in all rooms. Bathrooms are big and have natural air flow so great drying room overnight with towel racks on walls.
Pool is incredible - deepest pool I’ve ever had in a villa. I’m six foot two and could only stand on the tips of my toes. Pool floats provided which are amazing to float around on in the sun. Pool then has a submerged ledge at one end to lay on too which is the length of the pool and about two metres long which allows for easy access in and out, would also be great for children. Villa (pool and grounds) is accessed by a door code but then each bedroom & main kitchen/lounge requires a key. Plenty of charging ports everywhere in each room of the villa as well as a couple outside by the pool. Lots of mirrors everywhere. Four pool lounges and one giant sun shade umbrella. Wifi is strong. Rice fields are beautiful and surround property on all sides, we played music every day and didn’t disturb neighbouring properties. Feels like you’re far away from the bustle while being a couple hundred metres from The Common cafe in Canngu at the end of your walkway.
A massive thank you to the staff for a wonderful holiday - Ketut, Agnes, Cahya & Evin - you made everything so perfect and easy. The villa is lucky to have you! 10/10 customer service. More information could be provided on the location of the villa. On google maps the villa is located on the same strip as “The Ricefields Canggu”. Then from the Ricefields, you walk down away from the main road about 20m and turn left. The villa is located at the end. This isn’t a bad thing as you have privacy without any neighbours. Was just hard to direct Grab from airport upon arrival as we also didn’t know.
- Danielle (7/5): Good -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Wonderful stay that could have been perfect with a few small things sorted out - The all day sun is exceptional on a large outdoor area, surrounded by quiet rice fields on all sides. Super private. Modern facilities. Close proximity to lots of things. Big windows. The pool kept turning green and made us sick and stained our swim wear permanently. The sofa and beds are hard and uncomfortable. There was no hand soap.
- Tania (9/5): Superb -
- Garry (10/5): So close to everything going on but far enough to think you are all alone - awesome. - Fab villa… absolutely perfect Location not yet viewable by Gojek / Grab as it’s slightly off the beaten track - but not a huge deal…
- Leplaw (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tania (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Wow, just wow. This accodmation was truely amazing and satisfied everything we truely wanted when staying in Canggu - The location totally blew us away and all the rice fields around the villa. It was truely amazing and nice location. Probably the living area. The couch facing the tv isn’t that comfy at all. So basically was never used. Would prefer a more sinkable relaxing couch.
The power went out about 3 times randomly.
The 3rd bedroom that faces the pool. The shower head in the bathroom definitely needs replacing as water just sprays everywhere and it looks very dodgy.
- Tracy (7/5): Beautiful villa but location is a bit isolated. - This villa is beautiful and the pool is amazing.
The beds are comfortable and rooms and bathrooms are really nice and very clean.
The pool is deep but amazing.
The rice paddy’s at the back are interesting.
The villa is very well looked after.
the host would call cabs for us when needed.
5 minute walk to main road with cafes and shops. The location of the villa is very isolated and we had constant trouble getting gojek and grab cars as drivers couldn’t find the property.
If you are a female lone traveller I would avoid staying here. The villa could also do with a few added touches such as tea towels, toaster, kettle and some bottled water in the fridge.
The very nice man looking after the property came around unannounced a number of times which we found a bit off putting. There is no path leading from the main alley to the villa and very dark at night. Also there is a camera set up outside of the property which is good in one respect but the man was turning up to turn outside lights off etc which meant we felt watched. There is a very large secure entry gate which is a bit pointless as the walls around villa are very low so not very secure.
- Lauren (9/5): Superb - Very spacious and comfortable rooms.
Chilled drinking water.
Great pool!
Easy walk to main road and shops.
- Toni (10/5): Perfect relaxing break - The villa was perfect, it’s surrounded by rice fields and feels so remote yet is only a 5 min walk from bars and restaurants. The hosts are friendly and clean everyday, easy to contact. Would highly recommend. Nothing it was perfect! I know people comment on the location we had multiple Grab deliveries a day and all found the villa, just use clear instructions - I said Take the road opposite The Common Restaurant, at the bottom (near the dog house) turn left down the track to the Villa
- Dominic (10/5): Beautiful property and immaculately clean. Great facilities and a private location - Beds were comfy and large
Pool was a lovely size
The property was cleaned daily
The location within the rice fields was private and interesting view The arrival was challenging as the address given on booking.com was incorrect and involved a 25 minute walk with all our luggage
- Alize (8/5): Very good - Great location, beautiful clean villa, great pool Lack of privacy in the garden, tea and coffee supplied would have a been a great touch
- Alana (9/5): Superb -
- Amy (9/5): Beautiful, luxurious and friendly staff! Will definitely be back - The villa was in prime location and staff was exceptional and helped us with personal requests decorating the villa for a guests birthday The villa was at the bottom of the road so you had to walk to get grabs but the villa was perfect
- Courtneey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rabiga (10/5): Exceptional - Facilities are great, staff is amazing, always helpful, villa is super clean and located in the center of Canggu.Definitely will get back!
- Gabrielle (8/5): Very good -
- Jin (8/5): Very good - Quiet and luxurious. Constant power breakdowns - 6 times in 2 nights..
- Lim (10/5): Feels good to have a stay, definitely a good one to chill and you get to walk out to grab food at the cafe nearby - I would say the property is extremely good where it is super clean and I really like their layout which I would recommend for people that go in groups to rent. The stay is super comfortable and is very very quiet. Is just that the place is quite deep into but somehow that’s just a small reason. Overall, the house is in a really good condition and I really like it!
- Joshua (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Location is confusing to Gojek etc
- Christy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Paolonic (7/5): Good -
- Amelia (9/5): A wonderful villa experience - The villa was newly built and the entire property was very clean. Plus point was that we could see the sunset from our villa. Staff was friendly and sent us amenities such as toilet rolls and hairdryers when we requested for it. We had a tough time locating the villa as it was not located at the end of the narrow street as indicated on Google Map but instead had to “turn left” at the end of the street and walk along a gravel path. We always had to call our Grab/Gojek drivers to direct them to the villa. A tip to the owners would be to improve their wayfinding signage along the narrow road.
- Effrosyni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonas (9/5): Great! - Only problem lounges are super uncomfortable
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect, made was so helpful and place was perfect. Brand new Noisy temple singing every day at 5AM
- Dylan (9/5): Our stay was marked by friendly staff and a charming area, although the villa's location proved difficult to locate. - The staff treated us like family and were incredibly kind. The villa's location was challenging to find, despite the nice surrounding area.
