- Abby (10/5): - Melianthos Villas is literally close to perfection. The rooms are pristine. The views are breathtaking. The pool area is peaceful. You get breakfast to your room every morning with delicious warm pastries, fruit, yogurt and granola. The manager Demetrious could not be more welcoming or responsive. The housekeeping team is thorough and expert. I loved every minute here and can't recommend it more highly. It should be made clear on the listing that visitors require a rental car that can climb a very steep incline to get to the hotel. It's fine, but a small automatic car can struggle a bit on the switchbacks.

Our villa offered a breathtaking view, which we enjoyed every morning from our balcony. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast basket delivered to our door each morning — fresh, generous, and perfect to enjoy with that stunning view. The location is quiet yet ideal for exploring the island. The interior was stylish and comfortable, with great attention to detail. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with tips and recommendations. We felt genuinely cared for. Highly recommended — we’d love to return!

The pool and terrace is fabulous along with the fantastic view of the bay below. The road up is a lot of fun, it's steep and winding. Breathtaking! There wasn't thyme.

So quiet, so beautiful, relaxing, and Vathi bay at the bottom, beach, taverns. Only positive vibes ! We loved everything.

The owner was very nice and greeted us when we got there and sent an email with great suggestions for restaurants with links. We had missed our window to clean the room and when we left the room the owner said the staff couldn’t clean it as it was outside working hours. It was 4 pm. It would have been nice if it was cleaned. They did make sure we had enough water so that was good. It felt a little secluded but I think that was the point …

- Stergides (9/5): A wonderful mountain top villa! - Its a great location, the drive up is a bit of a gradient... but the whole island is like this.. the views from the villa was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and very helpful. You are served a breakfast breakfast with lots of goodies so that you may eat at your leisure on your veranda.. the swimming pool was just right and a lovely sun trap.. The kitchen comes supplied with basics of coffee pods, water - this is not an island for tea... :-) Water is supplied as the tap water is not really for consumption. The drive to the beach is about 7 minus, walking it may take a good 20 - 30 mins.. the trip up is steep.. Dimitios was really helpful especially in answering our questions or our requests.. Could not fault the staff or the location at all. nothing i can think of..

- Christine (9/5): PHENOMENAL!! We are already looking forward to going back in the near future… - FANTASTIC PROPERTY! Dimitrios (your host) goes above and beyond to meet and exceed your every expectation… The facility was newly open this year (2024), so everything is bright and clean. He and his staff keep the place in immaculate condition, and perform housekeeping duties daily. A “Greek Breakfast” was delivered each morning (at a time of your choosing) that included local yogurt, eggs, honey, and a warm “pie” with flavors like zucchini, cheese, or spinach (spanakopita), that was freshly baked by Dimitrios wife…DELICIOUS! They also keep the refrigerator well stocked with cold, bottled water, and complimentary bottle of chilled wine on your first day. The property is located at a very high elevation, cut into the mountain side (that provides a breathtaking view of the Aegean and the port of Vathi). So the paved road leading up to the facility requires a very steep climb. We initially had not rented a car, thinking that we could just call a taxi (they are plentiful) whenever we wanted to go sight seeing or out for dinner, but upon arrival it quickly became apparent that was not going to work. We let Dimitros know this, and he graciously arranged a local car rental for us. He even drove me to the rental agency for pickup, in his own vehicle. The climb up the mountain to the Villa is certainly worth it in every way, but a private vehicle rental is strongly recommended…

- Massimo (8/5): Fantastic place, perhaps not worth the high season rate it charges - Brand new, very comfortable apartments with all the needed amenities, good location overlooking Vathi. Staff was delightful. Pool was very nice when not windy. Felt it expensive for what we actually got for $500 a night we paid, or even compared to other $500 a night accommodations. It’s probably worth closer to a $400 a night (in high season) price range. Breakfast basket delivery to apartment every morning is a nice touch but the contents of the basket were somewhat average (again, all nice, but typically breakfast in $500 a night places is on another level and this was just so so)
- Asena (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious, completely new and well designed villas. Breathtaking views of Vathi. Each villa / room has their own view, terrace space and privacy. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Excellent details and thoughtfulness for families with kids. The only point to mention - The road up to the hotel from Vathi is quite steep. You would need your own vehicle.
- Isabella (10/5): Luxury villa with stunning views over Vathi bay with a pool and exceptional service - Beautiful luxury comfortable villa in a stunning location above Vathi beach with a pool. The view from the villa and pool terrace over vathi beach are breathtaking . Dimitries was an exceptional host, from the breakfasts, to the small treats left each day, to offering to drive us up and down the very steep road to the villa. The villa is very well equipped and stylish decorated a real find on Sifnos. The very steep driveway up to the villa, you need a car to stay here.
