- Jochen (1/5): - Unterkunft hat nicht auf meine Anfrage der Stornierung reagiert.
- Michael (10/5): - The owner is a very social person who like to discuss various topics in the garden. He gave great recomandations for activities. He helped with all our requests. He is also a good cook. Nothing for shut-ins and boring people.
- Arkadiusz (9/5): Miło spędzony czas w Sulinie. - Dobra lokalizacja, miły właściciel. Mogło by być czyściej w łazience i częściach wspólnych.
- Mariana (9/5): -
- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, comfortable bed, good pressure for warm water, quiet location, kind host. Definitely recommend!
- Dirk (7/5): At the end of a mighty river - Sulina’s streets parallel to the Donau are numbered in roman figures. The streets inbetween have names. I had some difficulties finding the hostel, but when there I was met by the friendly owner and his dog. It’s a renovated house with three large hostel rooms. Basic facilities and all incoming money is spent on improvement. I liked it. Local shops nearby for breakfast purchase. Worth a stay! Sulina’s history is well explained at the lighthouse museum. Worth a visit. Take the regular ferry to get there after 4(!) hours. Speed boats take 1 1/2 hour. Slow travel makes the trip. Street name is missing, and no clear sign at the front door. Could be improved!
- David (7/5): Good -
- Ben (8/5): Super friendly host and great value for money - The room was basic but comfy, nice and cool even whilst it was hot outside, the owner was extremely helpful in booking boat trips and very sociable and he is obviously looking to invest and improve the hostel as they are currently having work done. The bathroom was downstairs and out the way, but this is currently being resolved so will be sorted very soon 😊
- Gerald (6/5): Perhaps adequate for the younger gen. - Lack of easy toilet access. Down an internal ladder in floor. No chair in room .
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Cristian is a wonderful host. Sociable, generous and open-hearted. I couldn't have wished for a better host for my stay in Sulina. If you want an authentic homestay experience and great conversations that last deep into the night, this is the place. He also has a wealth of knowledge about the whole Delta area (and beyond) and will do whatever he can to give his guests the experience they are looking for.
- Maria (8/5): Very good and budget friendly - Very good location , large room , comfortable beds . Walking distance to the beach 1km . If you like take a taxi for 10 lei. The owner was excellent , helpful and informative. Just the toilet was needed to make a journey to downstairs even in a night time.
- Radut (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darcy (9/5): Comfortable and informative - It is very close to the ferry terminal. The host, Christian, lives on site so he was there to meet. It is a home stay in the true sense of the word.
- Thomas (3/5): Poor -
- Eva (7/5): Our Romanian Home in the Danube Delta - The owner Christian is a friendly and funny guy, always available and happy to help out with recommendations for places to visit and booking tours. There is a nice garden with plants to sit together with other visitors, however the second floor of the hostal is in process of renovation and has a lot of potential to have a really nice stay in a Romanian home.
- Górecki (10/5): It's like visiting your friend! Strongly recommend! - This płace is awesome!
The host - Kristian is extremely helpful and hospitable! During my stay I was feeling like I visited my friend. This place is new and he's still working hard to improve all the stuff here. I'm a backpacker and I think It was the best stay on a hostel I've ever had in my life! If you are a family with kids that may be not a place.
