Guest Reviews
- Sheila (8/5): We were staying in the area to visit relatives. Would definitely like to stay here again. Lovely location. - Very quiet location . Welcoming . Homely . Hot water taps too hot . Could have warning. ,
Could have egg cups for breakfast .
- Kay (8/5): - Very cold when we arrived took a while to heat up. The shower is just a trickle and could not get tv to work. Everything else was really good.
- Marie (10/5): Great pakefield break - Great location close proximity to places of interest and amazing coastal walks . Great level of communication with owner. Bungalow well equipped in peaceful location and spotlessly clean. Nothing to fault.
- Karen (10/5): Abosolutley love this little place will be returning -
- John (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay , lovely bungalow . - The was no access to the back garden , as the gates were locked.

- Gillian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (8/5): Lovely short break in a fabulously located home - The bungalow was lovely and warm and clean when we arrived, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Steve the owner was very helpful and quick to answer messages The kettle didn’t have a limescale filter and the milk sachets were out of date but I’d took my own milk anyway so didn’t matter.
- Norma (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very nice clean place to stay in.
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -

- Martin (8/5): 2 bedroom bungalow close to the beach - The key safe meant we could be flexible with arrival time, we received the code by email and accessed the property without any problems.
We were able to park our car on the driveway, off the road.
The bungalow was well equipped with everything we needed for self-catering. The coffee machine with some pods was a nice surprise.
The rooms felt quite spacious.
The free WiFi worked well and we were able to sign in without any fuss.
The location was great, a quiet street very close to the beach, with several supermarkets nearby.
I liked the binoculars left for visitors to use, if only I'd remembered to take them when I walked to the beach! Nothing really to complain about. If there was a light by the entrance door I couldn't find it, it was hard to see once the sun set. I would have liked a bread knife and oven gloves in the kitchen, and a bedside table on both sides of the double bed would be good.
The double mattress was too soft for my liking.
- Kaye (10/5): Had a great stay close location to beach and pubs easy reach of southwold - Very clean everything you need
Close to beach and pubs all within walking distance
Quiet location
Brilliant No lock on bathroom door
- Richard (9/5): Superb - good nice
- Andrew (7/5): Nice little property in a great location but in desperate need of a new mattress - The mattress in the master bedroom was really soft, unsupportive and very uncomfortable to sleep on.
- Daniel (10/5): Absolutely lovely place was so clean and cozy will be back again -
- Gemma (10/5): Lovely little hideaway! - Lovely clean accommodation, easy to get too. Off road parking. Lovely property! Nothing, perfect!
- Coral (9/5): Weekend getaway - Location to beach excellent and the area is peaceful. Bungalow is very clean, spacious and cosy with all essentials and more provided. Easy access and more than adequate parking. The garden has so much potential but appears to be neglected and is not very inviting. However we felt it wasn't needed due to proximity to beach and walks, so may not have used it anyway.
- Norma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - Werent sure how to use cooker or microwave no instructions. Double Bed bows in the middle. One of the smart meters was bleeping like mad in the morning. Only small things just thought would mention but overall we would use property again
- Julian (9/5): Clean & comfortable accommodation in a great location - Good facilities, clean & comfortable. N/A
- Elizabeth (8/5): Charming place a stone throw away from Pakefield beach. - This charming accomodation is in a good location very close to a beautiful beach, a great fish and chip shop and a few really good pubs. It was great to be able to walk and watch the sunrise each morning. There is plenty of parking space available (a drive way as well as road parking) and the bungalow has a really comfortable living room/ sofa. The kitchen was well stocked with all one would need for self catering (pots, pans etc). The beds were a little soft, the TV seemed quite difficult to use (although we didn't want to use it anyway so it was no problem), it is a pity that you can't access the outside area.
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Good location , reasonable price, clean , quiet.
Close to town and beach.
Host was helpful Loo seat was small and wonki.
Shower was not straight forward to get working
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Location was great, ie beach shops and some bars close by in a quiet col de sac, place was very tidy We couldn't access the back garden, the pics did show us pics off the garden, we had trouble using the TV (fire stick) don't know if it was the batteries the pillows were way to soft and the main bedroom needed blackout blinds
- Merle (9/5): Very satisfactory -
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Bowes (7/5): Good - Proximity to beach and the Jolly Sailors pub and restaurant. Shame we couldn't access the back garden as the gates were locked.
- Joski71 (8/5): Fab seaside location. - Excellent location, 2 mins from a lovely beach.
Good communication with host.
Clean cosy bungalow. Towels and linen supplied. Equipped kitchen. Free WiFi and internet TV
Close to shops, restaurants and takeaways. .
Private parking. Quiet cul-de-sac.
Used twice now and love it.
- Richard (8/5): Great location near to Sea and pubs - Location No dishwasher
Soft mattress on bed
- Maria (8/5): Nice apartment in a quiet place. Missed a garden. - The apartment is correct, spacious, comfortable and clean. Enough space on the property to park the car.
Well located, in a very quiet neighbourhood very close to the beach and local pubs and convenient to visit interesting places in the surroundings. It is not indicated in the description, but bed linen and towels are included. We took the trouble to buy sheets and towels before arriving, anyway my mistake for not asking.
The decoration is very impersonal, hotel type suitable for all tastes with no charm.
If you want to eat with your family, either in the dining room or in the kitchen, you have to move the chairs around since there are only two in each place.
Access to the garden is locked, although the garden is not such anyway, there is not a single plant, nothing green, only pebbles, no shadow. But at least it could be useful to hang the beach towels and laundry to dry.
If the garden was arranged and cared for it would really be a great improvement and make of this apartment a fabulous place.
- Ingrid (10/5): Wehad a lovely quiet stay. Will definitely stay again. - Cleaners, quizer, glose to The beach.
