• Michael (6/5): Es war ok. Wir waren zufrieden. - Das Zimmer hatte einen Blick auf die Felsen. Wir sahen vom Zimmer aus sogar Steinböcke. Das Zimmer war gross und man hat sich wohlgefühlt. Die Bahn hat uns nicht gestört. Das Frühstück war insgesamt voll ok. Das Personal könnte um einiges freundlicher sein. Beim Frühstück sahen die Eier und Speck und die Würste nicht so freundlich aus. Vielleicht könnte man kleinere Portionen machen und dafür häufiger machen. Das Brot und die Croissant sind nicht von der Schweiz. Hat uns gestört.

• Oli London (9/5): Lovely stay, modern room in a great location for travelling up to Zermatt - Great hotel opposite the train station to go up to Zermatt. The hotel itself is a little date but the rooms were refurbished recently and actually exceeded our expectations, really smart and modern whilst keeping the charm of an alpine chalet. It had underground carpark and a good breakfast. The Italian lady on reception was very nice and friendly, thanks for a great stay! We had dinner in the restaurant and couldn't order dessert as the kitchen closed early; unfortunately we were never asked prior to closing whether we'd be interested in ordering something else. Not the end of the world but it would have been nice.

• Hans (10/5): Very convenient and good quality - Vers good price, lovely staff, parking option even outside of stay. Very good for skiing if quiet evenings are alright. Daily Journey to Zermatt a bit time consuming and adds costs, but obviously accepted if chosen to stay here.

• Tina (10/5): - What a perfect little town to come to after taking the Glacier Express and before going to Zermatt. Check in was very friendly. We took a walk around town and along side of the river. Had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed our balcony off of our room afterwards. Our bed was very comfortable and it was so quite in our room. Hot water and great pressure provided a nice shower after a long day. I would recommend this hotel. A full breakfast with many options 😋 sent us on our way to Zermatt.

• Rachel Ann (7/5): Great location for train station, annoying extra parking charge - Great location, next to the train station. Room was large and seemed to have been fairly recently renovated, windows have good sound proofing, even though station is right next door, we didn't hear the trains at night. Room had an odd smell, like previous guests had cooked food in there. Glass door on the toilet/shower room is really weird - you can see through it so no privacy! Extra charge for parking - the hotel is not cheap so parking should be included. Check in was slow as you had to enter details on an iPad, they only seem to have one iPad so it's a slow process. They could send an e-mail and gather the same info in advance.
• FREDERIC (10/5): Séjour très agréable. Super hotel. - Très bon établissement, notre chambre était dans la partie nouvelle et notre séjour a été parfait. Accueil très professionnel (juste un peu d'attente) avec des conseils sur les moyens de se rendre à Zermatt. Le parking de l'hôtel permet de laisser sa voiture pour 10 CHF une nuit complète et la journée suivante. Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre spacieuse et très agréable (on entend juste un petit peu le bruit des trains en soirée). Le village de Tasch est à voir, avec ses chalets anciens. Il est juste à quelques minutes à pied. Rien.

• Jonathan (6/5): Ubicación y vistas buenas el resto muy mejorable - La ubicación es lo mejor porque está literalmente al lado de la estación de tren que te lleva a Zermatt Solo tiene un ascensor y no tiene puerta o algo que te separe de las paredes del edificio mientras se mueve eso te llama mucho la atención, en general está muy anticuado se nota que han reformado las habitaciones pero el resto de instalaciones sigue igual que hace 50 años, el buffet del desayuno tenía poca variedad. Y si no llegas a cenar antes de que cierre el restaurante y estás en temporada baja (abril-mayo) después de las 21 horas te toca irte a comprar un snack a la única máquina de bebidas/snacks dentro de la estación de tren porque en el pueblo está todo cerrado. Le pedi a la recepcionista si podía calentarme algo en un microondas y me dijo que no tenían.

Für Senioren ist der Ausstieg etwas gefährlich, eine kleine Haltestange würde da gut tun.

• Kriti (2/5): It was not worth the money except for the convenience to park the car. - The location was great and the hotel has it’s own parking lot which is convenient. The room was extremely uncomfortable. The entire night there was some weird sound like a machine was switched ON, except with no OFF switch. It was very annoying. There was also no one at the reception after 22:00, so we couldn’t even contact anyone but only at the emergency contact number they provided. The bathing area was also very tiny and can be congested for tall and huge people (even I being tiny couldn’t take shower well).

• Sylvia (9/5): Schöner, ruhiger Aufenthalt - immer wieder gern. - Ich hatte ein schönes ruhiges Doppelzimmer mit viel Holz, sehr gemütlich. Da ich mit Hund reiste, wäre ein Kühlschrank/Minibar schön gewesen, um kleine Dinge kühl zu halten. Da es noch Winter war, konnte ich dafür den grossen Balkon nutzen. Das Bett war bequem mit Kissenauswahl. Das Hotel liegt direkt beim Bahnhof, was mit Koffer schon sehr praktisch ist. Einkaufsmöglichkeit direkt gegenüber. Schöne Umgebung zum Wandern und nahe Zermatt. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank / Minibar wäre schön. Dann würde ich das Hotel auch im Sommer mal buchen.

Unser Zimmer wurde auch nicht geputzt & kein Zimmerservice für die 2 Nächte. Finde ich sehr schaade bei dem hohen Preis & sollte inklusive sein.

The family room can host two kids, it has everything , brekfast is good and convenient. The village itself is not very viberant, on a tuesday most of the restaurants were closed.

Wir hatten ein renoviertes Zimmer welches einen guten Standard hatte. Preis Leistung passt. Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Wlan gratis Die Umgebung ist nicht wirklich schön oder belebt und das Hotel liegt zwischen Strasse und Bahn, war trotzdem relativ ruhig zum Schlafen. Zwei von vier Restaurants in der Umgebung waren am Di Abend geschlossen.

We were 4 and the bed for the 4th person was not prepared when we arrived there in the evening. This made our night a bit uncomfortable. Also, as our room was facing the train tracks and there was a loud noise every time the train passed, which impacted our sleep.

Set of buildings with great location next to train station to get 15 minute train ride to Zermatt, Matterhorn, trams, cog railway. We added this to be ready for Glacier Express next day, but it really is a nice hotel with spacious rooms, great breakfast and views of surrounding hills. No train noise that bothered sleep.
