Guest Reviews
- Sarah (10/5): Cosy, Stunning, Very spacious and accommodating hosts - We specifically enjoyed the cottage itself, very cosy bigger than expected! Beautiful scenery, lovely farm animals such as horses and alpacas gallivanting in the fields outside. Absolutely captivating. Would definitely be back. Thank you
- Daisy (10/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): Fantastic - Fantastic comfy cottage.
Property had everything we needed and was a lovely place to spend a weekend.
- Richard (10/5): Wonderful cottage in the country which was a home from home. - Property was very clean with well appointed kitchen, beds were comfortable. Had wonderful hot tub and fire for those cool evenings. Felt like a home from home with nice touches like the welcome hamper on arrival. The only minor point was pillows were on the firm side so perhaps a couple of softer options would be good for those who prefer a softer pillow.
- Colm (10/5): - We had a fantastic stay at this country house. The place was spotless throughout, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well set up for a relaxing stay. The welcome basket—with wine, food, and snacks—was a really thoughtful touch.
The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of utensils and everything we needed, which made it very easy to settle in and feel at home.
The hot tub was honestly the best I’ve experienced. It stayed perfectly hot throughout our stay, aside from a small issue one morning. I only mention it because the host responded immediately and had it fixed within an hour, even coming over in person to sort it out.
The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. There’s a nearby field where two llamas, along with sheep and lambs, come right up to the fence—our kids absolutely loved that.
The garden is fully enclosed, which was perfect for us as we brought our dog along.
It’s a lovely countryside setting, and the nearby forest/park is well worth a visit too. All good, would return
- Ruth (10/5): A little piece of paradise - Beautiful property, amazing surroundings. The hot tub was great. The hosts were lovely and the welcome basket was a nice touch. There wasn't anything that we didn't like.
- David (10/5): An excellent Christmas stay near Omagh - The cottage had been decorated for Christmas and was very welcoming with a welcome hamper and well appointed with a wood burning stove and a superb hot tub right next door. The area is quiet and close to some beautiful countryside which was easy to access. Any needs we had were quickly responded to. The hosts were very helpful and there is good Wi-Fi. There is a washing machine and dryer and the garden is fenced all round so our dog was able to be outside without getting into the road. Can't really think of anything.
- Ana Paula (10/5): - everything wonderful, surprise basket, we loved everything
- Kristina (10/5): Weekend with friends - This is our second time in this beautiful Cottage, and probably not the last one. Definitely nothing
- Sonya (10/5): The most perfect retreat - This was our second time to kingarrow. Susan and Ross have the cottage absolutely perfect. This time we had our 3 children - 6 years old, 5 years old and 4 month old with us. The location is so peaceful, and our kids love it. So lovely sitting in the hot tub watching the moon rise over the Sperrins. The kids also loved a "hot tub party" in the after noon with a wee bit of music playing. We ate breakfast outside, had BBQs, movie nights, and even board game nights. The location is perfect, and we enjoyed glenpark Estate, Alpaca Trekking, gortin Forest, the ulster Full Museum, and went to glenpark Estate for dinner one night. We can't wait to go back! That we had to leave and come home.....

- Olwen (10/5): Peaceful, comfortable accommodation. I highly recommend for a countryside retreat. - I have not one complaint. Absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and homely break away. Suzy was a perfect hostess. Loved the offer of fresh eggs, will not be bringing my own next time :) The hot tub was so good, watching the sun set and moon rise for Summer Solstice and Strawberry Full Moon. One usp for me was I could let me dog run around the cottage, enclosed securely with sheep wire. Shadow enjoyed saying good morning to the horses every morning. Bed was so very comfortable. Lots of towels availabe if needed. Lovely little welcome hamper upon arrival. I will definitely be back x Not one complaint
- Elaine (10/5): Cosy, comfortable and outstanding hospitality! - We have been to a lot of self catering cottages and this has been the best so far!
For comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality! Ideal for disabled people as there is a ramp up to the front door of the property! The view is of out standing beauty.
The hot tub was warm and waiting on our arrival! We could not recommend this stunning cottage high enough! No fault at all!
- Hutchinson (10/5): Exceptional - Unexpected food basket upon arrival, WiFi, attention to detail, cleanliness and peaceful location. Only had 3 days. I could have done with a much longer stay in this wonderful place.
- Carole (10/5): Highly recommend a stay here if exploring the Sperrins - Beautiful property surrounded by green fields in the peace of the countryside yet close to Omagh and within short distance of Ulster American folk park and Gortin Glen forest park
Really comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you would need to have a relaxing break nothing has been left out in this lovely home
Hot tub was great and welcome hamper was a lovely added touch Nothing
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helene (10/5): Beautiful big cottage in lovely rural surroundings - We stayed here for my friend's wedding nearby. We were three couples and a toddler and it felt really spacious. It is an absolutely beautiful cottage set in beautiful countryside surroundings! Even nicer than the photos. It had everything we needed and more. Communication beforehand with the owner was spot on. We were delayed with our travels so we got there too late to use the hot tub - gutted as it looked so nice! But luckily our friends managed to use it and tell us all about it... I highly recommend staying here!
- Ruth (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything about this cottage, it was beautiful inside and out.
Garden was excellent, hot tub amazing and the horses were so friendly too.
My family and our cockerspaniels loved it all. Loved everything

- Marie (10/5): Tranquil and peaceful setting, perfect for a weekend away. - The house was so warm and comfortable and the host left tea, coffee, scones and little extras which was really decent. Beautiful views too.
- Maura (10/5): Exceptional - A home from home - very clean, comfortable and well designed. The Hot tub and window seat were added extras which were very much appreciated. The visit was crowned by a lovely sunset. Our hosts saw to all our needs and were most gracious and generous. A splendid choice for us - we shall most certainly return - you so much. Leaving!

- Amanda (10/5): A stunning home from home. - Everything. We booked on a whim, booking was placed at 4pm on the day of arrival. By the time we arrived there was a lovely welcome basket with everything we needed and a welcoming roaring fire. The cottage is stunning, location tranquil and owners so kind and helpful. There was not one thing I didn't like about the Cottage.
- Stanley (10/5): What an amazing 30th birthday present! - The hot tub was amazing! And the downstairs bedroom and toilet was brilliant for any disabled guests. The kids loved to see the animals in the fields surrounding the cottage.
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Kingarrow cottage was perfect in every single way!! We absolutely loved cosying up on the sofa In front of the beautiful big fire and of course admiring the stunning views while relaxing in the hot tub.
The cottage had everything and more that we needed for a well needed family weekend away
Susan and her husband were so friendly and the attention to detail within the cottage did not go unnoticed 😁
Susan's daughter had left extra blocks of wood out for the hot tub and fire while we were exploring Gortin glen forest which I thought was a great touch.
P.s Having the option for Netflix on the TV was also a great little addition.
We will most certainly come back again asap ☺️
