From the moment we arrived, the host’s warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. Every detail of the villa reflected thoughtful care, creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and inviting. The location couldn’t be better—nestled right on the serene shores of Lake Bolsena. Waking up to the tranquil views of the water was a daily highlight, and the villa’s proximity to the lake made it easy to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The house itself was impeccably well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy furnishings that made even the coldest winter evenings feel warm and snug. One standout feature was how dog-friendly the villa was. Our dog had plenty of space to roam freely, both inside the house and in the secure outdoor area. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of luxury and pet-friendliness, and this villa truly delivered. Despite visiting in winter, the villa stayed warm and comfortable throughout our stay, making it the ideal retreat for colder months. That said, we’re already looking forward to returning in the summer to fully experience the lake’s beauty in a different season. Overall, this villa in Bolsena is a gem—a perfect getaway for any time of year. We felt incredibly well cared for, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ll be back!
• Frank (9/5): Highly recommend! - It was a beautiful property and I’d recommend it to couples and families. Right on the water with beach. Lots of outdoor seating, swings and a paddle boat. Hosts were great as well. Hot water heater
• Bmct (10/5): Agriturismo Iride is a wonderful place to stay if you are travelling by car. - This property is located right on the shores of Lake Bolsena. It is extremely quiet and very private. The house provides everything you need for a comfortable stay- we even had ripe figs to enjoy from one of the trees! It is about four kms from Bolsena so a car is essential but the location is excellent for day trips. The address given on Booking.com is a little misleading but our host Roberto met us on the roadside. We thoroughly recommend this place.

It is a site with its own peace of the shore, with almost none nearby, an excellent place for a romantic time. It is strange, but there were no mosquitos, it was possible to sit outside in the evening. The checkout at 10:00 AM is too early.
