• Max (10/5): Zora was a great & helpful host who provided info on the local area and even gave us a welcome gift! Great location, - Friendly host, clean & comfortable room, lovely balcony with a partial sea view. Very good value for what you get! The best part of the sea view is blocked by another building but that’s out of the accommodations control.

• Niamh (10/5): Great little get away - The location was fabulous and so easy to find with the great directions from Zora. We arrive a little early and we were able to check in straight away. She was also kind enough to allow us to store our bags there after check out. Fabulous room and gave us extra blankets when the weather was a little cold. Gave us great recommendations for restaurants which we used and were great. Will definitely stay again if back in Hvar. Nothing it was great.

• Will (10/5): - We loved our stay at Guesthouse Aurora. The room was exactly what we wanted with private bathroom and a shared common room. The host was incredibly kind and gracious to us and had many recommendations for us on where to go and where to eat. The place itself is away from the louder party areas of the town but just a few mins walk away for the square. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a more quiet stay in Hvar.

Wir konnten draußen unter der Pergola Frühstück einfach herrlich! Es sind sehr viele Treppen bis zum Haus und wir waren mit älteren Leuten unterwegs. Nicht so optimal.

We arrived before the check in time and the room was already clean and ready. The place was spotless. The terrace is quite big and more than enough for two people. Kitchen shared and very clean. Everything in order and we would definitely come back. Everything was good.

You have to go some stairs up so be mindful if you have suitcases but everywhere you go in the center you will have the same issue. Zora was such a sweet woman. She gave us tips and we could use towels and water shoes from there!

The location is great as it is very close to the harbour and the town square (just be aware that there are quite a lot of steps to walk up). Everything was really good. There isn't anything that could be better.

A communal kitchen was handy as well. Quiet property away from the crowds You have deal with stairs to and from the ferry dock, but it’s manageable as long as your suitcase is a reasonable weight.

• Kate (10/5): Amazing, will return! - Very close to the centre of Hvar, short walk from ferry. On a lovely back street with lots of restaurants and a shady short walk into town. Also near the best Beech and shady wall to sit and dive into the beautiful sea Zora sat down with us and gave us all of the information that we needed and also told us about the hula hula bar, where we went to watch the beautiful sunset.

The number of stairs to get up to the property, however, Zora was fabulous in helping with my carry on. It would be nice to have liquid shower gel or small bar of soap to shower with.

• Lee (1/5): i was scammed - it was clean and had air con. she advertised one room and rented my another. i saw a picture of a room and liked it and paid for it and specifically wrote i needed two beds like it showed in the picture. she said she sent me a message saying she no longer had a room with two beds but i did not receive it. she charged me the same for a room with one bed instead of the two bed in a room that i paid for. it was a clear case of bait and switch.

• Vivian (9/5): Good location with everything you need - Convenient location and the room has everything you need! Zora (the host) is very friendly and always available to help if you need something. The number of stairs to get to the guesthouse - it's not an issue if you only have carry-on size luggages but check-in luggages may be tough.
• Gabriella (9/5): Superb - Zora is truly amazing! She sent me a message a day before arrival with an explanation of how to get to her property. Then she welcomed us with a Croatian drink and really took her time to explain the map of Hvar with all it’s highlights and recommendations. The property is very clean with a big kitchen with everything you need. the location is the best you’ll get, about a 5min walk to the ferry/ main strip. only downside would be all the steps to get to the property (we had a 25kg suitcase so that’s our fault) but that’s very common in Hvar. We had an amazing time, thanks Zora!

There were a lot of steps leading up to the property. If you didn’t have good mobility or if you had a pram, it would be very difficult. However, you might be able to get there by taxi, we walked everywhere so I am not sure. Very close to the centre - great location!

• Zakeea (8/5): Very good - Location was perfect! Zora was the perfect host and lives downstairs. The room and bathroom were adequate. Good shower pressure. TV had Netflix, YouTube etc. Shared kitchen has everything you'd need for cooking. I had issues with the pillows being too firm so host gave me a softer one the next day. Laundry can be done by the host. Lovely terrace. There's only a sheer curtain so take an eye mask if that's an issue. Can be noisy with other guests talking in the shared kitchen and coming in late at night but I guess that's to be expected on a party island. Take ear plugs with you. .

Our host was so kind and made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Loved having a shared kitchen to cook in! The only negative I could say is that there were a few steps up the guesthouse, but it wasn't really an issue for us!
• Brigitte (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice apartment with very large terrace and garden furniture with a small sea view. The kitchen is large and well equipped, it is shared with the other tenants. There is even a small pergola in the garden with a table for the summer. Zora is very welcoming. Very well placed just above the port. Attention! There are many steps to get to Zora's house and no access by car.
