Guest Reviews
- Jane (8/5): Excellent location and beautiful views. - The views and space the cabin offered were excellent. The location to hiking and local dining and shopping were great. Having a hot tub available after long hikes was a plus. Maintenance of the property was confusing for such a highly rated property. A laminated note that the refrigerator did not cool well was unacceptable as we had guests with medication that needed refrigeration. Extra linen was not available. Towels were rough and did not smell well. The septic tank filter needed cleaning while there. The property manager was prompt but having to stay at the property while plumbers addressed the problem took away from our time.

- Sade (10/5): My family and I enjoyed the stay, we will be returning. - The house was beautiful! It was plenty of room for my family and I. The host was also amazing. They kept in contact throughout the stay ensuring that we had everything we needed. The road to get to the house was very narrow, but had nothing to do with the house.
- Alayna (10/5): Beautiful and fun - The view was beautiful and my group of nine all slept comfortably. There honestly would have been room to accommodate even more people so it is great for large groups. The view was stunning and we enjoyed using the grill on the porch to cook. It was very cold when we went and the house did take a while to warm up, but it was a very cold front. There were space heaters and blankets. Be mindful and maybe bring extra blankets. The wind is strong and loud at night.
- Gail (6/5): Beautiful view, great group of friends, spacious home, weather was tough but we made memories. - View, spacious home, location. Older really used furnishings, ice maker did not work, cook stove “eyes” would not turn up as they should, gas logs were not easy to work and the temperatures while we were there were in the 20’s with lots of wind. HVAC was not programmed for us considering the weather forecast. We arrived our first night and had planned to use the hot tub and it was not hot. For a large home the seating in the living area was limited. We had a group of 6 ladies and the seating for chatting and enjoying each other was not good.
- Jennifer (10/5): Outstanding. That is all I can say. - It was a beautiful cabin with an extraordinary view! We enjoyed cooking every meal at home, while gazing out over the mountains. My three boys enjoyed the downstairs game room, hot tub and making smores at the outdoor fireplace. We were actually excited when it rained most of Sunday, for we did not have to leave the cabin (we did get a hike in before the rain hit). It was fun exploring the house and checking out the view from all three balconies. Absolutely did not want to leave. Would definitely stay here again!! Not a thing!
- Kathy (7/5): - View was premium. Space fair. Full porch awesome . Fireplace outside wouldn't stay on more than 10 minutes. Never turned on the inside fireplace. Nasty upstairs shower curtain (slime and mold) . Main level broken commode seat. Nasty stained shower curtain. Stained, dirty furniture. Broken and wobbly dining room chairs. Outside broken chair on porch. Kichen...no ice..moldy smell. Floor buckling. Outside fireplace would not stay on for more than 10 minutes. Basement level ...water dripping down into and on furniture. Poor water pressure In bathroom. All the towels were very subpar and smelled bad. My family members that stayed on this level dried off with their own clothes if they showered.
- Stephanie (10/5): Perfect getaway for large groups! - This cabin was just perfect for our group of friends on their high school senior trip getaway! There was so much to do in the area and at the cabin! The views and cozy nooks were just amazing!
We were a large party but never felt crowded in the 3 story cabin. If someone needed to get away, they could find a solitary spot usually on one of the many porches. Most of the time we all hung out together in the main living area and the kids had a blast!
Be sure to have your 4 wheel drive ready both for the cabin road and the waterfalls and trails in the areas surrounding Blue Ridge!
Highly recommend and would love to stay here again!!
- Diana (10/5): Perfect week at the cabin - I liked that the places was very spacious. Everything was clean and the view was amazing. The neighbors were so friendly and everything was quiet. Definitely a place to come and rewind from the city. Everything was perfect, there wasn't anything I didn't like.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - View, break from everyday life! Outdoor fireplace didn't work.
Beds were very uncomfortable
Also the floor has a bubble in it at the front of the fridge. Im not sure if ice maker is causing that or not
- Davin (7/5): Had a very nice time. - Layout of the cabin was very nice !! Very nice ,grass could’ve been cut.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -

- Nikki (10/5): Our first time staying in a cabin as a family, and we will definitely choose this one again! - The first time driving up is a little scary, but once you take that view in you realize it was worth it! We enjoyed relaxing on the decks and in the hot tub. All ten of us slept comfortably. We enjoyed family dinners & games in the spacious dining area. It was a perfect spring break getaway!
- Ashley (10/5): We were on a small family trip. Myself, my father and two kids. It was way more space than we needed but everyone was so - I liked the location! It was a fun ride up and down to the cabin from town. The best Mountain View I have ever seen from a cabin and I loved all the lights on the house. It was so pretty at night.
- Pilar (10/5): I would definitely return! - The view was amazing! The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. It accommodated all of my family it was very spacious. NA
- Joseph (9/5): Superb - The cabin was beautiful. Spectacular views and had enough room for our group. Would definitely stay again!
- Liam (10/5): This place is PERFECT!! - Gorgeous views…private…all the amenities…plenty to do in the cabin…lots of space. Perfect!! Nothing….although the drive up is a little scary the first time lol …. But you can’t have the great views without the steep drive!
