• Nataliya (8/5): - This was our second stay. The flat was spotlessly clean, cleaning service does its job for 100 of 10. Clean dishes! There's a beautiful roof terrace. Flat is spacious. There's a kettle. Metal keys, so you don't depend on apps or cards. Nice new kitchen lights. Washing mashine didn't work, but there's a hand washing sink. Bed linen for the sofa bed is only available if you order it in advance (not the day of arrival), but after a call to the Booking.com support this issue was sorted out. Memory foam bed was, sadly, too soft for me and like a hammock.

• Jan (5/5): Om vi vetat att vi skulle bo i en källare hade vi inte bokat boendet. - Läget,lugnt område,sköna sängar Att boendet var i källaren,mörkt och instängt med dålig mottagning för telefon. En liten uteplats som kändes som en bunker,sex meter upp till ljuset. Kändes inte bra alls. En liten takterrass 5 trappor upp kompenserade inte för oss tyvärr.

• Mike Chart (4/5): Very basic and dark - Very good location, studio very clean. Much to dark and dull for us. Small outside space, no sun no view. Very basic Had no WiFi for 9 out of the 10 days despite me constantly reporting the problem. Eventually replaced broken router which reported on first day.

The windows all looked onto internal walls so no view .The shower head is up very high and can't be adjusted.The bathroom floor if wet can be slippery.My friend fell and was shocked.Maybe a little sign might help.

No me dijeron que me alojaban en un sotano, cuando se lo dije tampoco les importó mucho mi opinión, la casa olía a humedad porque la fregona apestaba a humedad y cuando abrías el cajón de la fregona empapaba toda la casa a humedad. Por la noche cucarachas enormes en la casa y lo peor de todo que había una plaga de hormigas y dormir en la cama con hormigas que no paran de subirse a tu cama y a tu cuerpo es incomodo. No me cambiaron de habitación, ni me ofrecieron un descuento, ni ninguna alternativa, sólo vinieron a cobrar y a cambiar la fregona.

• Chiara (10/5): Ottima struttura! Esperienza da ripetere! - Appartamento davvero confortevole. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la piscina accessibile dalle 10 alle 22. Unica pecca, ma visto il periodo, l'assenza di una zona d'ombra. Sotto casa un caffè comodissimo para llevar per la colazione e market Carrefour ad ottimi prezzi a tre minuti a piedi. Le spiagge varie (almeno 4) raggiungibili a piedi in 10 minuti e non attrezzate sempre con tanti scalini ma veramente belle. La TV solo in spagnolo per intrattenere i bambini durante la preparazione dei pasti... E le formiche...

• Nataliya (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was prefect. I have to mention the kitchen, it was not like in other rental flats where you only have a couple of things. This was THE kitchen where you can truly cook a meal. To have a thin topper on the bed would be nice, I felt the springs a little bit when I slept.

• Jasmine (9/5): An extremely comfortable and relaxing stay! - I liked how there was a pool on the roof top and also a communal washing machine. We loved the bed! It was one of the comfiest beds I’ve I ever had in a place! On top of that in a fantastic location.
• Alan (9/5): Overall we had an enjoyable stay, but the shortage of clean bed sheets did “annoy” us a little. - Good location, close to supermarkets, nice sun terrace. Although there were only 2 shower towels and 2 hand towels for the 11 night stay, we were able to wash and dry them using the washing machine and clothes dryers on the sun terrance. There were no spare bed sheets ! We couldn’t wash and dry them in a day as there was nowhere to dry them. So we had to use the same sheets for 11 nights ! We would have changed the sheets ourselves if there were any clean ones in the apartment.
• Terry (8/5): Alan Nerja - The Roof Terrace and Pool is excellent The Central location is perfect for the town centre The washing machine on the terrace is very good. Clothes racks for drying cloth in the sun. WiFi was strong in the room and terrace. The bathroom was a little tight and awkward to move around. There were areas of the Shower and Kitchen Sink areas that looked dirty. Now and again I got the faint smell of drains in apartment E2.

• Bernd (9/5): Super central apartment with a rooftop pool - I love the solutions with the safe box and the key and the online check-in they have introduced during Covid. It is right in the center, supermarket, restaurants, bars, everything close. The apartment is nice, very clean, pretty big and had everything I could ever wish for. It is really very central, but still quiet. The beaches are just a few minutes away. And what I really did like is the little pool on the roof top. Nothing like a short dive into refreshing water in the moring and a nice view over the white roofs of Nerja. Great! The only thing I did not like is that I could only pay in cash or per bank transfer, because credit cards would be so much easier and I did not get my air miles. Also, the A/C is in the kitchen and next to the entrance and not in the sleeping room where you would need it most. But I just had to let it run longer at the expense of the owners unfortunately. But these 2 things are not really an issue. Washing maschine would have been cool, too, but like I said. That is no issue.

• Audrey (9/5): Great apartment, great value, would book again. - The location was perfect. Right in the centre of things but tucked away so it was still private. Having a washing machine available was also a plus 👍 Just a couple of minor things. There is no lift and we don’t have a balcony. The rooftop terrace was lovely but unfortunately the outdoor beds could do with an upgrade and there were no shades.

• Sheila (9/5): Wonderful location and facilities - The location was superb. So close to the heart of Nerja ie the Balcon de Europe. The location of Apartments Alan was so lovely and peaceful on the side street. The swimming pool is small and didn't seem to be maintained ie cleaned regularly.

I would have liked a window that was more external view rather than internal but think there may not have been any like that. Would not stop me booking again though. Gorgeous building.

• Michael (6/5): Pleasant - Excellent location Excellent staff. Extremely nice manager. Very limited natural light or air.. OK for short stay, but long term becomes claustrophobic due to there being no balcony. The roof terrace has no shade, so it's unusable June July and August.
