• wendy (7/5): Nice place in good part of Cheltenham - Nice part of Cheltenham- very good wine bar in the next street. Bed was comfortable and shower excellent The bathroom needs a lock - we were staying with my mother in law so not like we were just a couple. Also none of us could get the drip coffee machine to work. I do t understand why places don’t just have a caffetiere/french press

• Elsa (5/5): Passable, photos and description felt deceptive - Good location Private back street parking They were very strong air fresheners used in the flat to cover a bad drain smell. It was quite unpleasant. Bed was quite worn out and relatively uncomfortable. The bedroom faces the back street and windows are single glazed. The pub next door was extremely loud until late in the evening. Finally, it was quite deceptive to have to go round the back road to enter the flat instead of the lovely Montpelier villas road. A bit misleading.

• Alison (10/5): Fantastic apartment and location, highly recommend it. - Perfect location for visiting family in Cheltenham and also the close proximity of a park was great for walking the dogs. The place was far bigger and better than I expected and very well equipped. Communications regarding access and key code etc were very good especially given that it was a last minute booking. Full marks all round, highly recommend Nothing, all good

Instructions for using the TV were not included in the welcome folder. (The source of the TV signal was not clear, but by trial & error, eventually we were able to find the right one.) The extractor fan for the pub opposite was noisy through the night.

• Kaye (10/5): Cheltenham stay - Excellent location to parks and shops in central Cheltenham. Pubs nearby. Off street parking. Very comfortable apartment Some may not like being clost to a pub but I enjoyed it. Didn't interfere with my sleep. In fact it was comforting for a,solo traveller. Steep rear steps were my worry with risk assessment.

• Giorgia (7/5): Nice apartment, but not ideal for winter time - closer to city center, pretty apartment it's quite cold, the windows are quite old and wind pass through the window frame, making the apartment quite cold and noisy, especially on saturday night with lots of people in the pub in front of the property

• Rebecca (7/5): Good - Beautiful apartment. Clean and modern. Just like the photographs. We would not have booked an apartment with a bedroom directly opposite a tavern. The noise from the lane in the evening spoilt the nature of the trip with the beer garden directly opposite. Wooden window shutters in the living room needed to be closed for privacy from the road. Leading to the room being dark.

They provide everything from stuff to use and breakfast stuff not bread but most other hosts don’t give. Nothing
• Carole (8/5): Nice Apartment. - Nice apt close to bars & restaurants. Easy access & the parking space was a bonus. The seagulls were a problem. They were squawking from around 2.00am and never stopped. I know Cheltenham has a seagull problem so it is not something that is easily remedied. However it would play a part in us booking anywhere in Cheltenham again.

Large TV with netflix and other stations. Good Kitchen and facilities which we did not use. Bedroom at the back of the house so quiet. Clean and good shower. Nothing.

It was difficult to see how the set-up could have been better.Parking was also very convenient. The sending of the code was very late, but to be fair was in time.

• Robin (10/5): A very good place to stay for a visit to Cheltenham Spa. - For those who do not know Cheltenham Spa this is located in one of the best areas to be within walking distance of all the independent shops, resteraunts and coffee places; plus some of the classier chains. Well worth an explore. The Hight Street is as soulless as everywhere else; after you pass The Promenade all you see is predictable.

• Ian (9/5): Very convenient for the centre of Cheltenham with its variety of restaurants and entertainment venues. A nice, clean and - Convenience, cleanliness and comfort. The pub across the back of the property can be a little noisy especially at the weekend, also refuse collectors emptying the bottle skips very early on a Friday morning is not the best. That being said neither issue would stop us going back for a short break.

Great location just a short walk into town. Parking provided which was great. I had a little trouble finding the property initially, which wasn't helped by my car overheating and breaking down, however the host was super helpful on the phone to try and guide me to the property. Parking on a personal driveway was a great addition, particularly given my car issues too! Everything was fab! The only one thing that might help when trying to get into the property is maybe some sort of security light outside the entrance door so you can see what you're doing, but I used the torch on my phone so it wasn't a problem.

We will be booking again soon. - The location was ideal for our stay, with it being a short walk to the centre of Cheltenham. The property was well kept, clean and spacious. The value for money was perfect, and there was not anything to complain about. The bed could have been slightly bigger, and the wifi didn't work in every room. However, other than this the property was very nice.

• Julie (9/5): Lovely apartment, great customer service, great communications. - Location and very high quality interior. All fixtures and fitting very classy. Visiting my daughter at college, I stayed here on my own. The double bed was fine for one, but if I had been with my husband, a king size bed would have been a must. You park at the back of the apartment. Great to have a parking space, but This area is a bit scruffy. Which is a shame because the apartment itself is a really very high standard. Don’t be put off by this! I would def book again.
• Menna (9/5): Excellent , except for the size of the bed and the parking. - The location. Easy access to many restaurants and pubs. Very central. Lovely decor and a very good heating system. Lots of space. The bed was too small. It’s very unusual to have a double bed instead of a king size bed. This resulted in us not sleeping very well and would affect our decision on staying again. The parking was extremely difficult as the guy next door had a huge van which took up most of the space. Luckily my husband was driving as I would not have been able to get the car into the space.
• Angela (10/5): Perfect I loved it 💓 - I loved everything about the property, the location, the style of the flat comforts, even the little throw on the sofa, the bed was really comfy with really good pillows. I had everything I wanted and needed. Will definitely be staying there again. Searching for the parking spot was a little tricky, but I eventually found it at the back 🤣
• Jonathan (9/5): Great. - The Garden Flat, 36 Montpellier Villas was warm and comfortable in a great location for an easy walk into Cheltenham and the excellent Bath Road, you would be hard put to find a better location. There is parking but its a little tricky to access if you drive a large vehicle. Other than that we enjoyed our overnight stay in Cheltenham and will be booking again.
