• Ronny (9/5): - Ruhige Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße. Der Straßenlärm wird aber komplett vom Meeresrauschen geschluckt. Der Whirlpool ist super und beheizt. Ein Auto ist dringend erforderlich. Durch die abgelegene Lage hat man immer relativ weite Wege.

• Jacqueline (7/5): Ideas para desconectar - Si muy bien todo. La entrada para acceder a la casa, era difícil porque es directo a una carretera por la que pasan muchos coches y es peligroso. Si te pasas de la entrada no puedes dar la vuelta hacia atrás hasta después de 10 min que hay una zona para dar la vuelta. Es linea continua y pasan tantos coches que no puedes salir ni entrar a la vivienda.

• Ausra (9/5): A real holiday house, felt like home - The apartment is very well placed in the more beautiful part of the island - you are surrounded by the ocean, mountains, beautiful coastal towns and plantain plantations. It is also a less crowded part of the island with no mass tourism or big hotel chains, you can find good quality and authentic local food here. The place itself has a gorgeous terrace and ocean views from every window, complemented by a little jacuzzi, a barbecue, a hamac - great to relax after hiking. Btw, several short ocean side and mountain hikes and walks are very very close, 5 min drive (just ask the owner for tips). Also, we loved the evenings in Las Aguas (a nice walk, 2 restaurants and the ocean view, great despite the current works), also 5 min drive. The apartment was very clean at arrival, provided nearly everything we could need (kitchen is very well equipped), all towels (many provided) and sofa covers were white, so no way to hide. Also the shower had a curtain - impeccably white. The bedroom was huge, lots of storage space in the wardrobe, comfortable bed (pillows - less, but it’s a matter of preferences). No air conditioning, but also no need. We were sleeping with window open, no noise from the road was heard, only the ocean (and no mosquitos, at least in July). Wonderful rescue dog living further on within the property (the apartment is within property of several houses)- very scared by everyone, so if you don’t like dogs, no worries, she will keep to herself. On the other hand, if you want karma points, give hear a treat or some boiled chicken/meat/egg and go talk to her. She might be living now the best life she ever knew, but still it was sad to see her alone all the time, laying on the asphalt or hiding in the bushes at night 🥺. Overall, we had really relaxing two weeks, a real holiday (but I got a bit too attached to the dog, I hope other guests will treat her well too, so she gains back trust in human race. You can indeed only walk to the nearest beach from there, the rest needs a car, as the place is situated off a busy road (and yes, when you exit you can only turn right, unless really no traffic). The parking can be an issue for some (steep indeed). As we stayed two weeks, maybe a superficial cleaning could have been included (at least floors, kitchen, bathrooms). The hairdryer would need an update, kitchen a dishes drying rack and the water in the shower was a bit slow to go down, since the beginning (at least it didn’t get worse). Finally, the water is not drinkable and you need to drive to get food, so some basic starting kit with water, coffee, bread, cheese and fruits would have been great too. Yes, we had planned (and did) stop at the supermarket, but even with a late afternoon flight, there was a risk we wouldn’t make it (long time at the airport and long way from Tenerife Sur airport anyway). These a small details however that can be planned in advance, but must be known.
