Guest Reviews
・TV(モニター)がない

- Kinga (10/5): Amazing accommodation with great connections - Accommodation is spacious and clean and the bus stop is just outside the door. Transport from this location is easy, about 30 minutes to central by bus. There was no option for cooking our own food as there is no stove/ oven.
- Andreas (10/5): Exceptional - The communication from the property management was excellent and timely, the house was quirky and interestingly designed and renovated, and everything was clean and in good condition. The coffee shop out front is so trendy and the owner was so nice (and made great coffee), and there are good food options close by. We enjoyed our stay a lot, thank you!
- Suzanne (10/5): Beautiful place, the highlight of our Japan trip - The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The kaiseki meal was fabulous, and the private onsen was great. I can’t think of anything.
- Lan (10/5): Excellent - Beautifully renovated house. Washer and dryer, which is rare for Japan! No pots and pans or stove, but upon request a pan, rice cooker and hot plate were provided so we could prepare our own meals. A sink in each bathroom and 2 full baths, which was fine for our group of 7.
- Nicole (8/5): Very good -
- Nicola (7/5): Enjoyed our stay and it was clean and comfortable - Close to public transport and nice atrium and cafe at entrance. Two bathrooms. With 6 people there is very limited space for luggage..
- Erika (10/5): delightful and full of good care. - Beautiful & creative design! Very clean. Ample space and facilities for a group of five adults and one child. A couple of folks in our party did not so much care for sleeping on the futons/tatami mats.
- Karina (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. - We loved the architecture and the spaces. For us, the beds were a little hard but we are used to western beds.
- Tilly (8/5): Cosy and a blend of tradition and modern. - Cosy and a blend of tradition and modern Location
- Korina (9/5): Cozy and modern apartment in beautiful Kyoto - Very beautifully decorated, with natural materials and even though smallish it felt bigger once inside. The bus stop is literally steps away from the property, making it super convenient to use public transport. Apartment has a washer and a dryer, super convenient for light packers, lots and lots of board/card games, full size fridge and a conbini just a couple of minutes away to stock it with produce. Quiet enough to sleep as windows are not facing the main street. Two separate bathrooms (one ensuite and the other is shower room and a separate toilet) is a huge plus for those travelling in groups. Not necessarily a negative but something to consider- the apartment is in a more residential area which meant our group of 6 sometimes had trouble finding a spot to have dinner. Also, not ideal for side sleepers as the bedrooms have tatami floors with traditional sleeping futons.
- Konstantinos (9/5): Superb - The place was very spacious, clean, cozy and comfortable. Several details, such as books or board games, gave a more homey touch in the atmosphere. The neighborhood was very quiet with a bus stop just outside the house. The cookware could have been neater. For example, while the apartment was for more than four people, there was not a single full set of plates, bowls or cutlery. Nor was there uniformity in the crockery or glasses, giving the impression that leftover mugs or bowls from other places and uses found their way into this house. These are small details that with just a tiny bit of money can make a difference.
- Larissa (6/5): Clean and in a good location - Great location Inconsistent air conditioning. The accomodation is very hot without it.
- Mathis (9/5): Superb -
- Nicolas (10/5): Modern, comfortable home away from home in Kyoto. - This is a beautifully renovated townhouse in an excellent location, right beside a bus stop and close to several good restaurants. Good amenities and comfortable rooms as well. We would definitely stay again. There is no stove in the kitchen, which makes it less functional than it could be.
- Melissa (10/5): It was nice and I’m glad we got a chance to stay here! - The location for touring shrines in Kyoto was convenient and we were close to shops and grocery stores. This was a cozy house to stay in- there were 6 futons available for our group of 4 and we ended up doubling 2 for some extra cushion. There was a kitchenette with toaster oven and microwave (no stove top), and plenty of dishes for our group to use. I really enjoyed being in a stand alone house after staying in Tokyo and having loud neighbors all around us. N/A.
- Neelesh (10/5): Easy convenient efficient - Location convenience Nothing
- Gibb (10/5): A wonderful stay in a beautiful city - We enjoyed staying and feeling like we were locals. A great little coffee shop at the front which was handy to start the day and bus stop as well. The house was comfortable and had what we needed.
- Muhammad (9/5): Superb -
