Guest Reviews
- Jaipal Singh (10/5): It was the best experience ive had in years. I wish I could’ve been staying there for longer - Everything was amazing. Nettie was the not only a fantastic host but also the kindest person i’ve met in all my travels. Honestly there is nothing to not like. The place is amazing
- christopher (10/5): - We had a wonderful weekend at this cosy, spotless cottage. Netty was a fantastic host she gave us a warm welcome and a great tour of the property, including the new glamping pods, which are beautifully designed and very comfortable.
The stove with a basket full of turf made the evenings lovely, the bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave, and having full Sky TV was a great bonus. We even spotted a badger, a fox, and plenty of birds around the cottage.
It was the perfect little escape into the wilderness. I’ll definitely be back again soon.

- Margaret (9/5): A little bit of heaven - Beautiful location, host lovely and very informative about the area. House warm and cosy.
- David (10/5): Glenedagh Cottage - Quiet peaceful homely location with an incite into the traditional Irish family cottage. Great host that gave us plenty of information on the local area and had every thing in the cottage we needed. Was great to have a fire and use the peat turf logs. Great wildlife in the area. Very restful stay, could have stayed longer.
- Tom (10/5): I slept very well - A wild fox is in the habit of visiting . The host left some treats and food and instructed me how to feed it when it came to call on me .
- Aalt (9/5): Een geweldig compleet onderkomen midden in de natuur met vogels en een vos dichtbij. - De ruimte en sfeer in het huis en deomgeving
- Marie (8/5): We enjoyed our stay - Nice quiet location
- Margaret (9/5): The wilder side of Mayio - A grand little building with a comfortable interesting interior. And in a farming setting but wirh its own wilder edgeland.to the side. We liked everything. Plenty to see and do but off the beaten track so you have to tune in to the area to find out what there is:. The owner living nearby is really helpful without being pushy.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Lovely location, peaceful and relaxing. Great shower. We struggled with the gas oven, and the toilet was very close to the bath.
