• Katya (10/5): Perfect stay! - We loved the room! The view alone is insane. The staffs are very accommodating to our requests and even allowed us to check in early (free of charge). The location is perfect, near many establishments and they even have their own resto/bar (which we recommend also! yey for free shots every hour!) will definitely come back here! thank you so much cocorico! Nothing! We had a perfect stay here.

The bad: no daily room service, the water isn't draining in the bathroom, the ceiling light in the room has a horrible color. The ugly: directly next to a bar which belongs to the room that has loud music until late at night, the kitchen is right next to the room, and smoke regularly drifts into the room.

• Thalia Mae (8/5): Great value and great location! - It was nice to wake up next to the beach. The free breakfast was nice. The rooms were comfortable and nice. The AC was not that strong but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Great location!! And great value! Nothing really. The breakfast did take like 45 minutes to come, but it was still free. It also took them a while to clean up the breakfast after.

The bar tenders are great and are very approachable and nice. Specially J and Joshua! Room temp is okey, they also provided a water. Breakfast and cofee are also included which definitely added more value to the experience. 1. I booked it because of the beach front however the beach isnt accesible and not ideal for swimming. do not expect that you can swim and chill at the beach because this location isnt a good spot for swimming. This should have been provided in the description of the property 2. i thought its a hotel as shown in tiktok but its not, its just a a space beside the bar. while you cant hear the noise, its disappointing and shocking that the entrance is behind their kitchen. 3. the room inside is clean but the table counter outside isnt. i asked to have it cleaned. the appliances and utensils are dirty. they should have cleaned it before letting a guest in 4. i have to ask for towels in 5 days of stay. i even have to ask for the trash outside my room to be cleaned 5. ordering breakfast takes forever. it will take more than an hour for u to be able to eat

We asked if we could use it for dinner the night before but they did not agree. I understand that they have policy but i feel like we wasted 750 pesos , but other than that it was a pleasant stay and i will still go back but definitely i will no longer avail the breakfast lol

You’ll be in good hands here - I really liked the property—it had a warm, relaxing atmosphere that made the stay extra special. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and memorable experience. The view was absolutely majestic—perfect for unwinding and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. The food was absolutely incredible—every meal was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Most of all, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming—they truly made me feel at home. The only downside was the occasional power shortage, but honestly, it wasn’t a big issue. The staff were quick to lend us a power bank so we could still charge our devices, which was really thoughtful. Because of their help and attentiveness, we barely even felt the inconvenience. All in all, it was still a smooth and enjoyable stay!

• Paul (4/5): Underwhelming. - The staff were very nice and friendly and the food at the restaurant was amazing. Location right on the beach, which is nice when the tide is high (but this coast does suffer from serious low tides). We've stayed at several different properties in Siquijor and unfortunately this was our worst. For 6,000 PHP per night, we were expecting something special. Instead, what we got was a small room that needs updating and was not very well cleaned. For instance dirty mats and towels / dressing gowns that look old, worn or dirty. The bathroom and toilet could definitely do with a refurbishment. So unfortunately this was a really underwhelming experience. There was a smell of drains coming from the bathroom. Basically, this hotel is a couple of rooms built at the bottom of a concrete block next to a restaurant. (The upstairs of the block is still being developed). It's the responsibility of the restaurant staff to clean the rooms and you can tell that attention is lacking to both the cleaning and maintenance of the rooms.

Thank you to all the staff and how they went out of their way to make our stay so memorabl - We loved having our room right at the water, with our deck being in the sand, even if it really wasn’t swim-able. Having a water cooler in the room was perfect as hydration is so important in such a hot climate. The staff are amazing, so personable and helpful. They made our stay well worth it. The room was small, but clean. It would have been nice to have a day or two of maid service with our week stay. The water was turned off and on throughout the stay as they are still building the facility. The bar music was loud in our room at night but did not last all night.

• Diego (6/5): Noisy, small room, overrated place - A/c well positioned Room it's small compared to the price (6500 pesos per night) and other places at the same price. Noisy: music and road Bathroom with open shower, means water everywhere on the floor. The building is ugly and no sunbed, cause the beach is small. there is no terrasse immediately outside the room, there is sand, table, chairs are in the sand. Nobody come to do the bed or change. The price is too high for the kind of service. I have been at Lawson and white villa, another planet, similar price.

The bar is brand new and popular and they are decorating second floor as resturant and bar. They only have 3 rooms, so book it as early as possible.
• Philippe (5/5): Lots of improvements must be done to justify the price - + Modern bedroom + Comfortable bed + Blackout curtains + Sea view + Responsiveness of the staff + Good location Overall way too expensive given all the negative aspects - Lack of a generator to compensate for the too many and too long brownouts on the island, which are also leading to a total lack of water as well. If they don't have a generator yet, then their price shouldn't be that high - Noise coming from the traffic of the main street, mainly coming because of the bad soundproofing of the bathroom door and window, and noise from construction / work from the nearby house - ⁠Dirty surroundings giving an impression of not finished place: just next to the building there is so much renovation material probably due to previous construction work and when you get there it doesn't look clean at all - ⁠The fact that daily cleaning is not systematic and that you have to ask for it - ⁠Bathroom must be improved: shower system looks quite old, and there's always water staying on the floor without anything like a squeegee to clean it (on checkin, there was already stagnant water near the toilet and it doesn't feel clean) - ⁠Sink from the outside kitchen looks incredibly old and dirty Overall when we looked at the ad, and all the outstanding positive comments before booking the room, we really thought it would be a very premium room, but there is a too wide gap with the reality

Not a beautiful beach and can’t really swimming/snorkel there. Staff is friendly and helpful but will not recommend the best prices for taxi, diving or motorbike. You can find cheaper around.

Not - I love love love how well-organized the room is and the arrangement of things. Not only they provide drinking water, utensils, and hygiene essentials, they offer housekeeping too! The color tone? Absolute perfection😍 puts you at ease and in a wonderful mood especially after exploring the Island. Since we've always been a fan of the ocean, our favorite spot would be outside at the dining table where we can see directly the beach. Definitely an 11/10! 🥰 Frankly speaking I don’t have anything to dislike about the place nor the service provided
• Sheena (10/5): Very comfortable and staff are welcoming, with excellent amenities and a great location. - Although a great room is important, the customer service received is equally, if not more, important. And the CocoRico team knows how to provide top notch customer service and customer experience. The communication amongst the entire team was incredible. Replies often times didn’t take more than just a couple minutes and the speed at which they performed what was asked, is possibly the fastest I’ve experienced. They genuinely care about their guests and want to make sure our holiday was perfect The room itself was also stunning. The view is unbeatable and well worth the price. The amenities provided are a nice touch to give some added comfort. Watching Netflix with the sound of rain in the background created a peaceful feel. I read before booking that there are sometimes brownouts. We only experienced one and it only lasted 30 minutes which wasn’t an issue. All of the island struggles with this problem and although it’s not ideal, I can’t blame the accommodation with the issue. This place is highly recommended! I will be back for sure. Nothing at all.
• Brisa (10/5): Everything was perfect! - The location is really good as it is just along the road of San Juan and is near to restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. It is also right in front of a beach which is not good for swimming yet but a very good spot for sunset watching. The room is wide and spacious. Has all the things you need as mentioned. They have Netflix and wifi and the connection is really good as they provide a router for every room. The bed is very comfortable and sheets are soft. The room smells really nice, btw. Bathroom is also spacious and has shampoo and body wash in their dispensers. They also provide towels, hand towels, robes, and even slippers-which most hotels we stayed in Siquijor do not. The aircon works best. They have a water dispenser with hot and cold option-reason why there’s no need to use their electric kettle. There’s a small fridge in the room too. You can watch the scenic view of the beach right out of your glass doors even when you’re on the bed. There’s just so many things to love there. Pierce is a great host! He even gave us a heads up on the upcoming power outage and even offered a refund as he doesn’t have a generator yet. But we opted not to look for another hotel to stay because we sooo loved it there. He is really thoughtful and very friendly. Even offered a housekeeping for the next day and even to wash the dishes after we use them. One of his staff, Jerry, is also nice and friendly.
• Pope (10/5): Perfect room with the perfect location - Perfect room with the perfect location Our stay in Siquijor could not have been any better. The location of the condo is absolute beach front with steps on the property down to the water. The view is magical especially during sunset. The staff is arguably the best I’ve ever had at an accommodation. There is no front office but they are on top of making sure everything is great. The owner is extremely responsive with very quick replies and checks in to make sure everything is going well. They helped us book a motorbike and gave suggestions on things to do and places to go. They really make you feel like VIP here. The room itself is incredible with all the amenities you can ask for. Bed super comfortable, Netflix was a huge plus, and having the water dispenser and fridge were a nice touch, not to mention the personal kitchen outside where we were able to do our own cooking. Highly recommend staying here, would give it 15 stars if I could. There are occasional brownouts but we experienced it at restaurants and stores as well. Seems to be something the entire island has to deal with from time to time.

The owner and staff were very helpful, always nearby if we needed anything or wanted to book activities or rentals. WiFi was great too, helpful as my girlfriend works remotely. Occasionally brownouts, usually last an hour but we are well informed when we arrive and even before that this is unfortunately common in the islands, especially siquijor.
• Simon (10/5): Exceptional - This is a wonderful place to stay. The owner, Pierce is very attentive and went over and above to help us with everything we needed during our stay. Communication was excellent, he was always quick to reply. He even helped take care of booking a motorcycle for us, his staff also helped us make bookings with local services whenever we needed. Modern, clean, comfortable condos in ideal location right in San Juan. Room overlooks a nice beach. Highly recommended! Occasional brownouts but this is common everywhere on the island.
• Johanna (10/5): My stay at CocoRico was exceptionally pleasant, with great comfort, friendly staff, and beautiful sunset views - The place was fantastic and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. Additionally, the location is highly accessible and offers stunning sunset views. Will definitely come back!
