- Sandy LM (10/5): Great overnight stay - Everything was as described and suited my requirements Nothing
- Erik (8/5): A well appointed and located tiny home - Tastefully decorated. Surprisingly big shower. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful host. It's quite small but that's what we expected.
- Kelly (10/5): Escape to country side - Great space
Quiet peaceful
Everything’s provided great breakfast Little tricky to find but good directions
- Karen (9/5): - The country location. The peacefulness and quiet. Everything you needed was provided. Breakfast of bacon, eggs and muffins. Clear instructions from host. Insects
- Mardi (9/5): -

- tahlia (10/5): Perfect location, beautiful home, amazing hosts. - The ammenities were plentiful and the property was super clean. Overall could not have been a better stay. It’s the perfect place to stay if your looking for a tranquil place to escape for a weekend away and the hosts are incredible! N/A
- Damian (8/5): -
- Lori (10/5): Loveliest little accommodation ever - Just the loveliest little accommodation we've ever stayed in. Cosy, comfortable, so welcoming. The hosts have truly thought of everything, it was like a fun little game discovering everything (sticky tape! Board games! Mozzie coils! Star gazing chairs! Polaroids introducing us to the cows!).
We had such a nice time, wished we'd booked for more than one night- we will have to come back again.
Also, the electric heated bed is brilliant.
Highly recommend! Not a single thing we didn't love.
- Andrea (10/5): Very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.. - Concongella Cabin oozed country rustic charm. It was well appointed, clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast basket was well presented and yummy..
- Enya (10/5): A tranquil haven for the weary traveller! - The property was just perfect - so inviting and cosy with lots of nice little touches! We enjoyed the breakfast, the bed was comfy and everything was very clean. The morning in the surrounds was stunning. Highly recommend! Nothing!
- Shanilka (10/5): Homely and Peaceful Cabin - The location was amazing. It was extremely quiet, not a person on sight. The place itself is extremely cosy and feels like a small home. The owners provided us with everything we needed without us needing to ask and even offered us firewood! Over extremely pleasant and relaxing stay, 10/10 would come back.
- Watson (10/5): - The was so peaceful and very quiet . It was over and above in what we expect in accomodation . We had to leave to go home .
- Callan (10/5): - I loved the entire place!
It wasn't far away from best western wines or the pub.
The property feels very cosy.
Will certainly be back
- Linda (9/5): - It was quirky made with recycled materials , very well done with a eye for detail and artistic touches.
Quiet and comfortable. The next day I had 8 bites which I thought might be mosquito bites but they were quite inflamed and angry for at least 5days, maybe spider bite.
- Andres (9/5): Loved this country getaway spot - Loved the privacy and the comfort A slight smell from toilet that smells like the inside of a port-a-loo , not terrible but noticeable
- natasha (10/5): Would definitely stay again would love to stay when it’s cooler and get to experience the fire outside - So cosy inside . So much thought to detail When we stayed it was 40 degrees although air con in the cabin it wasn’t enough to cool us down
- Isobel (9/5): Stayed for one night - quirky and comfortable - happy to stay longer. - The location, near The Grampians is spectacular. The property is adjacent to a sweet creek. There are beautiful cows and tiny carp at the doorstep. The shipping container has been fitted out beautifully and is very comfortable and home like. It is very well equipped and breakfast was provided. We were just travelling through but I could easily have stayed longer - maybe moved in permanently. The only thing that’s not great is the toilet. To preserve and protect the integrity of the creek there can only be a capsule toilet (like a caravan) which takes a little to get used to.
- Agata (10/5): It was much better than I was expecting 😊 - I was smitten by it 😊
- Pedro McXiminez (9/5): Concongella Cabin is the ideal serene getaway. - The level of cleanliness and homeliness is outstanding - every small detail has been thought of. The hosts are very responsive. The location is both remote and walking distance to the pub; I loved the walk home in pitch black with a full sky of stars - "ah, the serenity". Some people might get spooked by the cassette toilet. Maybe a more illustrated "bullet point" set of instructions would be good. But that is a very small quibble.
- Susie (10/5): - It has everything you need for a getaway. The host thought of every little detail. The surroundings are so peaceful - at the same time, you're not completely isolated from the shops and civilization. NA
- Tim (8/5): - The cabin was ideal as a mid stop btw Melb & Ade. Great place to relax, enjoy the surroundings. Cabin was well laid out. Would definitely stay again Be prepared to use a cassette toilet and follow instructions. Was all ok once we read instructions!
- Joe (10/5): Cute and cosy cabin! - Very cute and cosy cabin in a gorgeous location! Hosts were very accommodating and left a lovely breakfast hamper.
- Madeleine (10/5): -
- Jeffrey (10/5): A hidden gem and a pleasant surprise. - The location. The breakfast waiting in the fridge. The privacy. Not much to dislike here.
- Simon (10/5): Fantastic greeting by two parents and ten ducklings really set the tone for the stay - actually didn't have it, but it looked fantastic!! No it was perfect
- Rebecca (9/5): A great introduction to the tiny house scene! - Very quaint and charming without being chintzy at all and we really liked the recycled aspect of our tiny house. Everything that we needed (and didn’t need!) was provided. Excellent breakfast! Such a great and efficient use of the small space: a good sized bathroom and space for suitcases etc. Outside we found plenty of entertainment: a mown walk (long enough to drink a glass of wine), tiny horses, llamas and a cute family of ducks. Nothing - everything was great
- christophe (10/5): - everything
- Andrew (10/5): Beautiful accommodation with great host. - Loverly setting with everything you need to enjoy your stay. That I couldn’t stay longer
- Sharan (10/5): -
- Heike (10/5): - I liked Everything about it!!!
Great Breakfast, wonderful quiet&lovely rural nature environment, very private!
Close to the highway, so no detour on my way to Melbourne, yet very quiet!
Nice bed, very comfy. Kitchen, bathroom very clean and well equipped, a homely feeling.
Great communication with host! All perfect!
- Kathlene (9/5): The ambience of vistas over pond and meadows- a mini escape - Charming, comfortable and quirky! We loved the meticulous recycled fixtures - from pre loved doors and bench tops to external tin cladding. The accommodation is reached via two broad steps. The bedroom is separated from living /kitchen by a nook and screen. There’s not a lot of room around the bed, but bed is comfy and well set up with side tables. Great spot for luggage/cases and some hanging in a quite small area. The couch works well even though the room is really only about 2.3m wide. The kitchen is serviceable with microwave/toaster/plug in hot plate all available should you want to prep a simple meal or cook breakfast. Great supplies of condiments and cooking items - the hosts really make it easy to feel you’ve walked into a home. There’s a small bench inside for meals and you can eat outside on a fold out table as an option- maybe not always so as it can be chilly! The ‘caravan’ toilet might pose a challenge for some to operate - it’s quite compact and you must follow instructions- but it’s there for its perfect size. The shower area is great - it has a small step up bit is spacious. A really thoughtful and loved accommodation offering. We’ve rated this highly as it really suits our style. The layout functions so well for its size. It’s clean and inviting but don’t think this is typical 5 star luxury- its really quite small in area and you navigate around one another - its 5 star is in the uniqueness, cosiness and joy in repurposed things.
- Amanda (9/5): - Lovely accomodation. Very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed.
- Cheryl (8/5): Lovely if you like being away from the crowds - Peaceful and unique…very well equipped.
- Sian (10/5): - A really cute cabin with lots of nice little features, within walking distance to 3 good wineries & the pub. Well equipped and really comfortable with llamas and sheep passing by! Perfect stopover on way to Grampians, and delicious breakfast in fridge. I loved the pond but if you're a city gal like me, bring your earplugs - the frogs are a bit noisy at night!
- Estelle (8/5): -
- Sammy :) (10/5): - Everything was perfect Nothing
- Deanne (10/5): perfect - Everything.
We had been on the road all day and both live in quite locations so we didn't want to hear trucks all night. The only noise we heard which was lovely was the frogs. Something you don't hear much these days
There was everything we need with the bonus of a breakfast pack, which was amazing.
The setting was perfect
We will be back. Only complaint was that we didn't have enough time to relax and enjoy the perfect setting.
- Paul (9/5): Very quaint and perfect for a couple wanting something different - The property was charming, the fit-out excellent and the breakfast and other condiments supplied very generous.Bed very comfortable although an army of frogs must have enjoying themselves at night. Will return in near future Perhaps the couch sagged a bit in the middle when we were watching TV.
- Madison (10/5): -
- Guat Lean (9/5): - Shetland ponies, sheep, alpacas. Converted shipping container great gave us a taste of tiny house living. Nothing
- Pamela (10/5): This beautifully converted and appointed shipping container is a hidden, cosy gem. Don’t miss it! - This is a skilful, cosy, beautifully decorated conversion of a shipping container with a wonderful view over a little lake and paddocks. It is so well appointed, and provides all the kitchen essentials. A breakfast basket with eggs, bacon, English muffins and jams was a real treat. We went to sleep listening to frogs, and woke refreshed to birdsong. There is nothing to dislike.
- Dzwiz (10/5): -
- warwick (9/5): - Nice to have breakfast in the fridge ready for the morning...delicious
- Elizabeth (8/5): - We love the location and the idiosyncratic nature of the whole place. This was our second stay and even though it was mid winter and very cold we were snug inside the cabin. The breakfast is generous and the facilities comfortable. A lovely stay once again.
- Meerkataroo18 (8/5): We loved the quiet location, and the wamth of the cabin. The bed was super comfy. - We had a comfortable overnight stay in the Cabin. The location was perfect and lovely and quiet. The bed was really comfortable and the cabin cosy and warm. We enjoyed the outlook while having breakfast.
The walk in shower was lovely and warm. Cassette toilet, although it would be difficult to have an alternative
Kitchen sink was a bit too rustic for our liking
- Tsambika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Sam (8/5): Really lovely stop over stay on our trip to Adelaide. - Tiny but every facility was provided. We spent two nights in this lovely little shipping container cabin. Excellent spacious shower. Easy trip up the road to the local pub with very good meals. Composting toilet was a little off-putting but it served the purpose. Room is of a minimum obviously being a converted container so the double bedroom is very small.
- Riemelmoser (10/5): A real hidden treasure - Everything, it is such a surprise hidden away. So cosy, with the fire set up outside, just amazing. Lovely brekky in the fridge, just fantastic. We didn't like leaving!!
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mick (9/5): If your looking for a solo or couples escape then this place is perfect. - This cabin is perfect for a solo or couple's getaway. It has all the facilities you need to be comfortable, and it is perfect if you want to disconnect and escape from the world.
The cabin was very comfortable and i really enjoyed my stay.
The breakfast of bacon, fresh eggs and muffins was a great treat also. While it is great for an escape the cabin is not ideal for a person travelling for work as their is no table or desk to set up and work from.
There is a breakfast bar/nook but this was a little small for setting up my laptop. As I was only staying one night I was able to manage.
Also the phone reception is not great and their is no internet available.
- Peter (9/5): Excellent stopover for two people for one or two nights - Was very quiet . Stayed in as 40+% and air con effective. Keys in the door on arrival. Unfortunately we're not able to meet our hosts however all was as we expected in the premises. Nothing that we needed.
- Graham (9/5): We enjoyed a restful few days in this rural setting. The close proximity of vineyards with excellent wines and luncheon - The property was peaceful, had a rural setting and was very comfortable. An ideal place for those looking for a slightly different type of accommodation. The cabin was very well equipped and the breakfast provisions were excellent. It was lovely sitting outside of an evening and in the morning with sunlight filtering through the gently waving willow tree. The alpacas and sheep came to the fence to investigate us. A truly restful, rural retreat. We liked everything about the property.
- Kathy (7/5): A cute cabin great for a short stay - We loved the birds around the cabin and view to the little water hole with willow and lamas and sheep in the field close by. Styling was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Shower was perfect. Plenty of parking close to cabin. Breakfast basket was delicious and having cooking basics and reasonable utensils was appreciated too. The power seems to be less than optimal. The air conditioning didn’t adequately cool down the cabin. A lot of beetles and bugs came into the cabin at night.
- Jane (9/5): Beautiful natural setting for a very creative venue and warm hospitality. - A delightful green and pretty spot to spend the last night of our holidays. Really fun to experience a container conversion and done in such a creative and attractive way. Very generous breakfast. Could have stayed longer loved the natural setting. Our host was very flexible with some extra requirements.
- Caroline (10/5): Lovely quiet accommodation surrounded by nature - I’m completing this on behalf of my CEO who stayed one night at the property. She adored it, it was quiet and in beautiful surroundings. She will keep it mind for future stays.
- Adam (9/5): compact , comfortable and within driving distance of the local pub! - A very compact stay. much more homely than any hotel.
very well decorated small home - looks like a container fitout with veranday and gorgeous outdide fire.
breakfast provisions were fantastic as well
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet secluded location. Walking distance to the pub for dinner. Also good walking distance to Bests Winery which is a great winery to visit. Book ahead if you want a tasting though. All good
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - Everything..ambience,wonderful host Wendy..so generous ,friendly and graciousxx Having to leave🥺⁰
