Guest Reviews
- Murray (10/5): - Great accomodation just off the GVRT. We were able to drop our bags early and just turn off the path to access the property on our bikes. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating, highly recommend for anyone considering staying.

- Michael (9/5): - Great communication from the owner at all stages of the process and super flexible with helping us store and hold bags before and after our stay which was really appreciated. It's also an excellant location if you plan on undertaking local sections of the Great VIctorian Rail Trail.
- Jennie (8/5): Great stop whilst on a bike holiday - Quiet self contained cottage at the back of the property
- Frederick (9/5): A lovely property for a short stay. - It was a charming place, with attractive decor and a lovely, leafy setting. The hosts were friendly.
It was located right by the Great Victorian Rail Trail, which we were cycling. We think we left a small picnic knife at the property, but were unable to contact the host to find out if it was there.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - Beautiful setting, friendly hosts & great location
- Mike (10/5): Everything we were expecting. - Excellent location, very clean and the owner was very attentive to any need s we had. Thanks so much.
- Carr (10/5): Grateful to find such a nice place, the transaction of staying was seamless, and what a wonderful spot, easy walk to the - It was so perfect, it had all we needed. Very pretty and comfortable. And I was very grateful the sofa bed was made up for me in advance (and I liked being visited by a little daschund too!) Nothing at all, it was just perfect for us.
- Liz (9/5): Overall, we loved our stay. Would happily recommend. - We loved this little cottage. So comfy and welcoming after riding the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Also a lovely walk to Yarck Pub for dinner. The property's beautiful gardens and nearby stables provided a wonderful setting to relax. Loved just about everything. The only addition I would suggest is adding a small side table or trolley to the bathroom to give extra shelving to place personal items and clothing.
It was also a shame the TV did not have good reception but this really wasn't a big deal for us.
- Hibberd (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful surroundings coupled with a friendly and helpful host.
- Cooke (4/5): For a one night it was fine but the kitchen facilities and TV were disappointing. - Very clean. No wifi, TV didn't function as had very poor reception. No private outdoor area,
- Shizuka (10/5): Amazing -
- Sam (9/5): Great location to stay to - It was very well presented little cottage, little touches like fresh cut flowers from Emma’s garden were a lovely touch.
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - Beautifully presented property in a gorgeous garden. Lovely host
- Brett (9/5): Absolutely picturesque!! Stunning property! Perfect for the couples to get away for a few days. - The accommodation is well set up for a couple to stay. Very clean, tidy and well presented. The property was easy to access. Beautiful surroundings. Very picturesque!! Perhaps the heater may needed a service. It wasn’t working and on a cold Yarck winter night it was super cold. 1st world problem though. Accomodation was perfect.
- Paula (9/5): Superb -
- Patterson (8/5): Very good - Appealing decor, comfortable bed with electric blanket, good sized bathroom, sheets & towels provided, view of trees & farmland from the cottage. Heater was very slow to warm the cottage, and it never got as warm as I would have liked. Bathroom heater did not heat the space very well, it was too small. TV only had access to a limited range of stations, and no access to streaming services (e.g. iView, Prime, Netflix etc).
- Lina (10/5): Fairy tale cottage - Cottage set up is impeccable. Very tasteful and every detail thought through.. gorgeous gardens . Felt like a fairy tale. After meeting a super friendly resident cat by the name Flopsy I could not help thinking that this residence was inspired by Peter Rabbit stories .
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (8/5): Very good -
- Heather (10/5): A beautiful stay, in a beautiful location. - The views from the room were so peaceful, and the Oak tree is beautiful.
We had everything we needed, and the cottage had been warmed before we got there, making it so comfortable. Nothing.
