Guest Reviews
- Anne (10/5): A lovely stay in a charming cottage , in the centre of thriving Cockermouth but amazingly peaceful and quiet - We stayed here as a family group for the weekend. The property is in the middle of Cockermouth so central to all the shops/restaurants/etc and an excellent bus service to surrounding areas if needed.
But it set back off the main St through an alley and is very peaceful .
We have stayed here before. It is clean and comfortable, with three bedrooms ( one single) and the kitchen is a decent size and well kitted out with everything you could need. The shower room is also spacious and the shower is powerful. The lounge is cosy and well furnished
The beds are comfortable too and the cottage has a cosy feel - there is a small area outside with a table and chairs which is private
It was very clean and welcoming and very reasonably priced There is nothing we didn’t like -

- Amanda (9/5): Fun, cozy relaxing - It was a nice cosy cottage to stay in for a few days it was clean And tidy lovely fire in lounge too . 😊 good value for money The location was good just the parking is a problem. Kids didn’t like that only one toilet. With 5 people wanting the bathroom at once.
Needs more cooking dishes and untendils and extra chair as it ment to sleep 5 people . But other then that can’t fault rhe property the owner was so helpful and replied to any questions we had
- Joe (8/5): - Great location near all amenities No parking is a pain although it does state in the advert and I missed it so my fault entirely . The oven door wouldn’t close properly so was unable to use the oven.
- Michelle (9/5): - Perfect location right in centre town but quiet and private. Great shower. I would have liked a teapot!
- Daniel (10/5): An ideal place to stay in a beautiful town close to all amenities and stunning atmosphere from the community making us f - Warm and cosy exceptionally clean and tidy. The location was amazing as it sat right in the centre of the Main Street. Nothing to dislike!

- Athithya (10/5): My stay at Robinson Retreat in Cockermouth was peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. - It’s a really beautiful, well maintained house with cozy rooms. The location was really convenient for travel to and from nearby attractions. We visited in winter. So the heating took a really long time to warm the house. But once warm, the place was really cozy.
- Andrew (9/5): Great location - Good communication from host. All the amenities you will need provided.
Great location in the centre of Cockermouth.
Can book car parking a few minutes walk away from house. N/A
