Laura (9/5): Great stay - We enjoyed our 4 night stay in Dubrovnik. A lovely, spacious and clean apartment. Can’t beat the location in the old city. Steps away from all the restaurants, bars and sights. We had small suitcases so the stairs to access it were not a problem. Was very happy with the Nespresso coffee machine and pods available to enjoy coffee each morning and tea. Small fridge for snacks and drinks and a separate living area to relax. Lots of storage for luggage, clothing and toiletries and each side of the bed had separate plug ins which we appreciated. 20 euros bolt from the airport. We signed up for a walking tour, walked the wall and visited museums and took a trip to Cavtat. Wifi was a bit patchy. Also, we opened windows during the day but it’s necessary to close them at night because of the noise. I guess that’s the trade off for being right in the city.

Tanja Taca (10/5): Ugodan boravak u preslatkom apartmanu 20koraka od Straduna - Apartman ima sve sto je potrebno i za duzi boravak. Nas je bilo 2 prijateljice, i bile smo 5 dana. Apartman je imao kafe aparat tako da smo si mogle napraviti i piti kavicu dok smo se spremale za izaći. Iako je Stradun udaljen doslovno 20stepenica i 20 koraka. Odmah na izlasku iz apartmana imate nekoliko kafića i restorana u uličici koji su preslatki i onako ušuškani u predivne dubrovačke uličice. Bilo nam je malo hladno kad smo dosle ali se gospođa Ana pobrinula za sve i donijela dodatnu malu grijalicu, i napomenula da postoji i podno grijanje tako da smo vrlo brzo sve rijesili.
Trent (10/5): Great stay right in the old city Dubrovnik. - When I say the value was terrific, you might infer there were a few compromises. But there weren't. It was a lovely suite with comfortable furnishings centrally located in Old Town Dubrovnik. Communication with the host was excellent, and he was very accommodating. It was a great stay in the middle of such a historic city. It was a fair climb up stairs to get there. I was travelling light, and can handle stairs pretty easily, but some may not want to haul heavy luggage on those stairs. It looks like this would apply to most accommodations right in the old city - there were plenty of other accommodations even further up. But, gosh, staying right in the old city is well worth it.

Brienne (9/5): A great stay in Dubrovnik - The apartment was a good size and had a great amount of space to hang clothes with lots of hangers. The bathroom was on the smaller side but met expectations. The shower does splash a bit outside so the mat gets damp easily. I liked the large mirror in the more brightly lit area for makeup. The location of the apartment is great, right in the middle between the main spots making it easy to navigate (even though Dubrovnik in the old town in small so everywhere is pretty central). The host also met us to take us to the apartment which was appreciated in the identical-looking streets on first entry. The front door from the street was quite challenging to open at times that I even thought we would be locked out for the night. Took quite a few tries even with the instructions, night after night. The towels could also use a refresh as they weren't the softest.

Diana is very responsive and able to provide recommendations for the area. The location is very central within the walled section of the city and very close to many restaurants on the adjacent street.

Glen (10/5): Great visit to Dubrovnik mage possible by excellent accommodation at Apartment Thereza. - The apartment was exactly what we had hoped for - very nice and in a great location. Can’t say enough about the location as it was in the center of old town and close to all the places we wanted to visit. We were even able to take a mid day break and return if we needed to escape from the heat. Good restaurants are nearby and it’s all very convenient when looking for food. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The separate bedroom was very nice to have and we really appreciated the spacious bathroom. I can’t imagine a better apartment in Old Town. Nothing I can think of. This apartment is ideal!! The day we left a storm hit the area and it was a severe downpour. The stairs outside the apartment turned into a river and were tricky to navigate.but I would think that happened all over in Dubrovnik as drainage is limited to the stairwells and streets.

Very comfortable.The host was very friendly and welcoming. Glad we booked there! The stairs to the apartment and the stairs within the building to get to our apartment. The description of the place did say no lift. However, the steps to get to the apartment building were steep and slick. Carrying our luggage was a challenge. During our stay we were able to find a different route to minimize the stairs we needed to carry our luggage down. We were on the 3rd floor of the building. The stairs were narrow and circular. I am not sure it would deter me from staying there it is just good to know.

Debra (10/5): Excellent property with a wonderful location. - Great location, some lovely touches eg kettle/cups/plates/cutlery and even oil and vinegar. Air conditioning was great. Great recommendations for restaurants and bars, plus sight seeing. Great host. Some noise but nothing major given location. Steps to get to the property so if large suitcases, bear it in mind although we managed.
Mark (10/5): Excellent location in Old Town - Excellent location in the Old Town, walking distance from restaurants, bars, and major attractions. Host was easy to communicate with. Apartment was clean and comfortable. We entered the Old City, which is pedestrian only, via Buza Gate, which entaile ddragging our 20kg suitcases down many steps. Advise people with luggage to use either Pile Gate or Ploce Gate as these routes have minimum steps. Perhaps something that could be advised beforehand.

Great communication with hosts, map provided and general information was discussed on check-in Anywhere you stay in the old town there will be some noise but it was just people talking not loud music and generally quiet after midnight. The bed was comfortable but very noisy everytime you moved - not a big deal. We were in apartment 1
Beverley (10/5): Old Town Dubrovnik for Access to Many Tourist Sites - To reach the apartment from Pile or Ploce Gates there were only 30 steps up - compared to many places in Old Town Dubrocnik, that is a blessing to have so few stairs to maneuver with luggage. The apartment was well supplied with cooking equipment in the kitchen, a nice TV and couch (doubles as an extra bed) in livingroom, and a very spacious bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom was well supplied, including bottles of hair and body wash. The owners made great efforts to allow me to leave my luggage there in the morning and access the apartment in early afternoon. Climbing steps with luggage as a senior is no treat so Rick Steves' advice to pack light fro Europe is wise advice.

Sue (10/5): Lovely find / lovely hosts / amazing value for money - Beautiful property - big enough for 3 adults. Although opposite a busy bar, with the windows closed you can hardly hear anything. (has aircon too so no need for the windows to be open) Met by the lovely owner who talks you through everything. Lovely big shower with a removable shower head so if you just want a hose down rather than a full on shower, you are able to do so. Lots of coffee pods and herbal teas (we took our own tea bags though as we prefer our own) Spotlessly clean with a lovely little kitchen area if you did want to make something simple. Bed was very comfortable. If I was to ask for anything more - the kettle needs a little stand as the cable doesn't quite reach the socket (we improvised though so no issues) a couple of small bottles of water and a small carton of milk for those who arrive late would be lovely - there are several minimarkets just outside the walls (possibly inside too - but we couldn't find one) - but plenty of places to buy soft drinks close by so I am being over picky - because quite honestly there is nothing really to complain about . 10/10 Liked everything

Caroline (8/5): Reasonable accommodations in a great location - We loved the location and that there was nice space inside the apartment. Our number one complaint was the towels. They were like sandpaper. I know that sounds dramatic but they were truly the worst towels we have ever used. Additionally, we were there for four nights and wished there had been an extra towel or two in the cupboard. One other thing to note was the hot water was extremely temperamental and ran out quickly. We were not in the apartment we were shown pictures of on Booking. The apartment we were in was more dated.

Had trouble opening door with key from outside. Neighbor came & opened it for us. Second time the cleaning lady opened it & then showed us how to open it. After that, no problem.

Vedic (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous accommodation in perfect location. (Obviously you need to be able to climb steps to get to the apartment, that's common in Dubrovnik). Excellent soundproof windows, spacious for two people. Lovely bathroom.

Although we reserved an airport shuttle for check out, the driver the host connected (it was her husband..) did not show up, and we had to look for a taxi on early morning. Samantha (10/5): A lovely apartment in the middle of the Old Town - This apartment is situated bang in the middle of Dubrovnik’s old town. On arrival, we were greeted by our host who was lovely. We were shown around and also given a map of the city with recommendations for the best spots. The apartment itself has everything you need. The air-con worked well and the bed was comfortable. There are some really nice features in the apartment including arch stonework about the sink and the birds painted in the bedroom. We were close to shops and the main sightseeing areas in the old town. The hosts also kindly organised our transfer to the airport at the end of our stay. I couldn’t recommend this apartment more. The apartment was sometimes noisy due to guests upstairs. You could hear everything. Some areas of the apartment could do with a touch up.

Met by Diana at check in who gave great overview of city and explained highlights on a very good map she made.Kitchen was well stocked with tea and coffee. Though near a major row of restaurants, very quiet and dark when windows shut and air-conditioning on for great sleeping on warm summer nights.

Jonathan (10/5): Best host ever, great location, clean spacious apartment. - First and foremost, have to give a shutout to Diana, MVP Host! She set up our taxi transfer from the airport and then met us where it let us off to walk us to the apartment. (Even helped with the luggage.) She came into the apartment with us to show us everything and then provided a remarkable map of the old city with all of her recommendations. It was perfect! The apartment was spacious with a kitchenette, living area, and a separate bedroom. Bathroom was modern and clean. Nice view of terracotta rooftops out the windows. Location was near everything, including a series of restaurants just steps away, yet with the windows closed everything is perfectly quiet. Stairs, lol. It's hard to complain about stairs because they are unavoidable in the old town regardless of where you stay. Actually, if you enter from the westerly Pile Gate, it's a fairly easy walk and only one set of stairs . But our apartment was then two flights up, which was more difficult with the luggage than the walk. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Yuval (9/5): Dubrovnik is worth two days and this room is perfect. Don't miss walking the walls around the city. - The location in the old city is excellent. The room is comfortable and has everything you need. Diana was great. Since you cannot park the car in the old city and parking lots close to the city cost 106 Euros for overnight, Diana showed us the nearest parking lot (A new parking lot) which was just 30 Euros and drove with me all the way to the parking lot to make sure I don't get lost. Walking back to the room from that parking lot was an easy 15 min. walk down hill and stairs.

Jablunka (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location, fantastic host who facilitated my later arrival, gave me a tour of the apartment and even introduced me to Dubrovnik's sights and venues plus answered my questions. Kitchen was well equipped for small meal prep. Place can be a bit noisy since it's right above multiple bars and restaurants, but not a big deal with closed windows, A/C is in both rooms. No toilet paper provided in the bathroom. Pillows in the bedroom way too fat and bulky, unfortunately uncomfortable for a good night's sleep. Would love a smaller blanket too.

Sue (10/5): Perfect. - The apartment was perfectly based, and immaculately clean. The host met us at the gates (luck rather than judgement) and explained everything to us. She was in contact with us from the time of booking, and couldn't have been more helpful. One of the best showers I have used!! Added to the fact that the price was fabulous - there is nothing for me to complain about. Liked everything - nothing to complain about

Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - The location is brilliant, right in the middle of Dubrovnik old town. Diana and Josip (hosts) were very nice and helpful, too. The apartment was very clean and nice to come back to after a day out.
