- Geraldine (9/5): - The home was in spotless condition in a super location. It was very safe and secure with gates to the home. Frik went above and beyond for us when we arrived and we are very grateful for his help. The main bedroom's bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing. The pool area was great and the kids loved it. Bauwklippen wine estate is very close and highly recommended a visit to there too. There is a little kwikspar at the end of the road for anything you might need for your stay.

- steve (9/5): Winter stay - As a family of seven having a house to ourselves was great. Home was well equipped and comfortable. Having heating in the living area and the main bedroom was great, and much needed- but the other bedrooms were very cold.

Did not need all the added bits we usually take from home as everything we needed was there, right down to ample coffee, tea, sugar and milk, which in our family is a staple. Had an awesome weekend!

- Falk (10/5): Great location for staying several days with a group close to Stellenbosch. - The house was big and comfy, had a nice kitchen and dining area, a big and clean Pool and a grill for Braai/BBQ. Host Frik was quick to answer all questions and allowed to stash our luggage ahead of check-in time. Everything was great, but a sun sail over a part of the pool would enable guests to hang out in the pool without fear of sunburn for even longer.

- Sheri (5/5): Over priced - Great location near Stellenbosch. Layout of home was great. Pool was filthy and couldn't be used. The front door did not lock. After requesting rental of the property through the App, the owner raised the rate. This is a terrible practice that should not be allowed. At final review this property was not worth the price.

- Craig (6/5): Overall it was an adequate stay but some items need attention - Air conditioning in main bedroom and lounge, nice location, 2.5 bathrooms, internet, Netflix, dishwasher, some nice complementary touches like wine and rusks No fan or air conditioning in all bedrooms, needed to ask for ironing board and iron, no outside bins to empty kitchen bin, cockroaches in most rooms, decor a bit dated.

- Brigitte (7/5): Pleasant stay in quiet area. - The location was perfect for us, but also because we had a car. The furniture inside the house is really comfortable. So are the beds. The wifi works really well. The house could use some TLC, especially the kitchen. There was a nice swimming pool, but no sun loungers or comfortable chairs to sit outside and enjoy the sun. When we arrived there were 5 old dining room chairs although it sleeps 8 people standing outside, but no table. We did take on of the chairs from the dining room outside so all 6 of us could sit outside. The host did bring a small table for outside the same day when I managed it to him. I am used to communicating with my guests via WhatsApp, nice and fast, but the host didn't have WhatsApp so I had to either sms him and/or had to keep checking the booking.com app to see if he had replied to me. I expected, looking at the photos a bit more modern and luxurious house. My son took one of the remotes for the gate home with him. He sent via Postnet back to the home address (which costs R 190). I had to ask the host if he had received it back or not. It would have been nice courtesy if he had sent me one of his sms-s.
