Guest Reviews
- Globetrotter118 (8/5): Long standing Guesthouse - Nostalgica! One of Sagada's original Guesthouses. It's been around for decades. I stayed here about 30 years ago. I booked the cheapest room I could find. One of the basic old style rooms. There are some much better rooms as well now. The room was clean and had charging outlets. The common bathrooms were clean enough, and had a hot shower, but shelves and things could do with a good scrub.Superb location, right by Sagada's main junction, and the bus stops. Loved the big furnished covered terrace overlooking the junction. Sadly there's no longer a restaurant, but there are convenience stores next door. The WiFi was good. Feels overpriced for what you are getting though.
- Jay (6/5): Pleasant -
- Makiko (8/5): Nice stay to know sagada. - It’s near the town center. It was a little noisy because the room faced to the street.
- Concepcion (1/5): Will not come back and will not recommend - Did not like at all No welcome bottled water. The staff is not friendly.
The bedrooms have no tables, chairs, and mirrors.
The shared facilities had no body soap, hair shampoo/conditioner
, paper towels, the shower is poor,
The step going to the bathroom is not safe for seniors, the rugs infront of the toilet/ shower rooms are dirty
I requested for a ground floor and we were given a second floor unit (there were no rooms in the ground floor).
For the price we paid and no breakfast , very expensive hotel .
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Gunard (5/5): It was truly a budget accommodation. I’ll never go back here. I learned my lesson and I should look for better ones even - It’s within the town center and near to all of the essential establishments 1. The guy at the reception looks like he’s not happy with what he’s doing. Always glued to his phone and doesn’t greet the guests warmly.
2. The heater in the shared bathroom at the 3rd floor doesn’t work. I didn’t have a choice but to use the freezing water on my bath. I didn’t even showered on my last day because of this traumatic experience.
3. Fleece blankets are great but the fabric leaves a lot of lint to my clothes, especially the dark ones.
4. There is no enough hooks to hang my clothes and jackets to dry. There were no hangers, too.
5. I only had 1 pillow which was not fluffy enough.
6. The mirror that I used was at the lobby since there are no mirrors in my room nor on the shared bathroom.
7. The trash in the trash bins aren’t disposed regularly and becomes smelly.
8. The walls aren’t solid that I heard the voices of the guests on the other room next to mine.
- Klaus (7/5): Good - central situated, small clean room staff not allways there, shared bathroom simple
- Ron (8/5): Very good - Location is perfect, close to the center Shower head can use a little cleaning, or replacement..
And better pillow, are at least add one more...
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - The guy at reception was friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for catching jeeps or walking to local sights. The room was quiet at night and a comfortable bed.
- Maribel (4/5): Disappointing -
- Maya (9/5): Superb - Location is good and the staff were really kind. Even allowed us to check in very early than the regular time. They're also very helpful, accommodating and they serve nice and cheaper breakfast compared to the nearby restaurants. They also looked after our bags even after we checked out. Some guests slam their doors loudly. Even so, we sleep quiet nicely every night because we're always tired from all the tours. Also the heater at the shared bathroom on the second floor is either too hot or too cold.
But overall it was worth our money.
Sagada is a place where you spend the day exploring and accomodation is only for sleep. It definitely served its purpose.
- Jerishio (6/5): Central location, nice simple rooms, good place to organize your tour activities around Sagada. - Central location, friendly helpful staff. Beds are comfy enough. Nothing too fancy. Staff was very helpful and organized multiple guided activities for us. The water in the bathroom broke down for half a day, but otherwise the stay was fine. Bring your own soap!
- Gisela (9/5): Superb -
- Epiz (8/5): Very good - I looove its proximity to the Tourist Town Center. Literally a 2-3minute walk! It's clean. Just align your expectations with how much you are paying :) The falling curtain rods 😅
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meynard (5/5): Fair enough - Location of the place Not really heating water.
- Malu (4/5): Disappointing stay. Will not recommend. - The staff were not very friendly and helpful.
Facilities were quite dirty.
- Matthew (7/5): Good -
- Marie (7/5): Really not awesome - The location is central Common part were not really cleaned, bed was no confortable, no furniture in the room, wifi not working
- Meliza (4/5): It was a one day stay and it was a weekday. I just asked for an hour extension. - It is in a good Location because it was right in the front of the municipaL haLL. The common bathroom was dirty. I asked if I can extend for an hour since the Coda bus Leaves at 2pm but they wiLL charge me another 100 pesos for an hour, when i aLready paid 900pesos for the room.
- Elsid (5/5): Value for money.. - Close to town centee Facilities
- Angelo (8/5): one of the staff open our room without knocking, when we ask why he did that he said that he thought we already checked -
- Clara (8/5): This homestay was good for us to stay a couple nights at a very reasonable price, but we wouldn’t stay longer than that. - Good location, just 2min walk from the tourism office. The rooms were clean and the bathroom also clean. The staff is also very nice. Nothing major to signal. The only downside might be that there is no AC, only a small fan, so it can be hot pretty quickly, especially because the room is facing the sun.
