• kalasapur (10/5): The best hostel in Nishat area - The place is best for solo travellers, very near to Mughal gardens and Pari Mahal, the host is very helpful and personally helped me get J&K sim. The stay here was perfect for cold since there was heater in dormitory, very clean toilets and amazing food. The common room was very cozy, overall the best hostel experience

• Boshoff (7/5): Good place but average hospitality - Very nice cozy rooms. Good toilets and very nice garden. The staff are very friendly but also not very capable. They don't really make any attempt to make things better. I had to pay extra for my room because they didn't have any change, and they just sat there and shrugged their shoulders making it my problem. And also I asked for a kettle or some hot water, and they just looked and my plainly like it was something impossible to get. They are friendly but they are not very good hosts, I wouldn't say they know how to actually 'make plan' for a guest. Good facilities but average hospitality.

• احمدی (7/5): Good - The owner and people who work there were helpful and the bed was confortable.the thing we liked thay use slippers for the rooms and bathrooms.we had rented bike by good price there is bike to rent and kitchen also A little far away from the city center and shops diffcalt for who doesnt have bike or car and it had problem with electricity sometimes but all those were not a big pronlems for us

• Julia (10/5): Delightful hideaway in Srinagar - Whostels was very clean and cozy, and the staff were all very attentive and warm. The staff immediately assisted with whatever questions we had and were very friendly throughout our few days. The location is great. It is in a very accessible location to the gardens and Dal lake (walkable). For transit, I recommend sharing the street name and locality, rather the name of hostel with taxis and rickshaws for easiest access. We had no trouble reaching all of our desired locations in Srinagar, but it was nice to be off main roads in a quiet village area. The breakfast was also very good 🙏🏻

The staff is very friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests & provide good dining options with local cuisines. You can choose whostel for a peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle stay.

• Hao (10/5): Exceptional - 10 of 10, awesome hostel in a quiet local village. Need to take local bus or tuhtuh to get there. Food is great with decent price, staffs can help you with travel information. A bit far from downtown.
• Hitesh (9/5): Superb - The rooms are very neat and clean. The property offers some of the great food. A common room to read books and play games or two. The garden facing the property has a badminton facility. The hosts are welcoming. The location. Though it's in the posh area of sringar close to dal lake. But, travelling to the location itself is cumbersome. Better if you have scooty as the roads are narrow.

• William (8/5): Beautiful spot, well-set up place - Over a week here I felt very secure, safe and comfortable. The building is lovely, and the staff were mostly great: they did stare at me a bit too much, but in terms of keeping the place clean and the guests fed, I can't complain. The owners happened to pop round while I was there and we had a lovely chat over coffee. The location is a bit of both, because it's really peaceful with a great view of the lake from the balconies, and the local neighborhood is very friendly, but this same remoteness does mean that getting anywhere in town requires using a taxi app or calling up, Srinagar taxis aren't so cheap, and some of them struggled with the narrow lanes. Luckily the place does provide its own food, and plenty of company in the common area with games and so on. It's great for a relaxed week and those with bikes (a good chunk of the guests) have no problem whatsoever but if you want to feel closer to the centre or save on transport, you might think twice. Hopefully Srinagar tuktuks will get less squeamish about going uphill and Google maps will start showing more Kashmiri buses!
• Turbo99i (8/5): Great value for young and energetic people! - The location and ambiance is great! its quite thriving, ideal fro young backpackers/travelers. Ample space to park vehicles, the view from room is great and has sufficient facilities, Food range and quality can be improved. Vegetation and foliage can do with little trimming and upkeep. Seems lots going outside but can do with little attention. People drying towels on chairs is not very welcoming especially if its your first visit.
• Siddharth (7/5): Good - I had booked the room for a single day. The next day I orally informed the staff to continue my booking and went for Site Seeing. When I returned to my room I was asked to leave the Dorm. The reason was the said "Aapne hume Bataya nahi" where I was very clear. afterward, I realized that the room was booked by people of 6. They didn't want to lose customers. so they gave my Dorm bed without any prior intimation. I had to Check out the room at around 11 P.m. and move to Zostel. After causing so much of inconvenience the Receptionist asked me for a TIP at around 11:30 Pm. Kya log hai !!

Didn't like the staffs behavior, he keep on asking everyday 'are you checking out today ?' multiple times Which felt like they don't seem interested by presence. Not like what I have experienced in other competitive hostels. No efforts for engaging guests in games or activities. It felt more like hotel than hostel. NO hostel vibe..

The 6 bed dormitory is very comfortable and you have your own privacy since the bunk bed has a little curtain which you can close and isolate yourself. The 4 bed dormitory even if it is more expensive is just a room with for bed and you have no privacy at all.

Overall experience was good. Things I compromised with 1. no soap in bathroom. 2. Very low space to offer in a 6 bed dormitory. 3. The location is a little far from the main point.

U must try their food, it's homely and delicious. There are several facilities for sports and activities. I took bike rental from them at a very reasonable price. It's a must stay.
