Staff was very helpful and - The staff was very accommodating when we showed up early to keep our luggage until check in. I also loved that they had us the sweatpants and shirts to wear after a long day of exploring

• valerie (10/5): Hôtel confortable à Kyoto. - Hôtel très confortable, à 7-8 minutes à pied de la station de métro Maritamachi . Personnel très agréable et de bons conseils pour les petits restaurants aux alentours. Cocktail de bienvenue très sympa ! Un peu compliqué de caser 2 valises…mais on y est arrivé malgré tout !
• Hiromi (7/5): - welcome drinkとして１Fバーで一杯無料で飲酒ができた。内装デザインがスタイリッシュ。トイレと風呂場が分かれており、音が部屋に聞こえづらいような作りになっていた。壁が厚いからか隣室の音が聞こえなくて良かった。備え付けパジャマがスウェットとトレーナーというのが嬉しかった。 浴槽が小さく配置が変わっていた。シャワーカーテンが小さくて水が散る。机上が綺麗に拭かれていなかったので自分で拭いた。ベッドとベッドの間、ベッドと壁の間が狭い。

• Jorge (9/5): Buen diseño, espacioso y recomendable - La habitación es espaciosa y de diseño moderno y cómodo. Hay productos para higiene facial incluidos. Está bien conectada tanto en bus como en metro con muchas partes de Kyoto. Aunque la calle es ruidosa, las ventanas aislan bien y hay tapones para los oídos extra. La bañera, por su diseño, deja salir algo de agua por los lados al suelo, donde hay un sumidero extra. Aún así si no te das cuenta la primera vez puedes dejar todo empapado. Por lo demas, la ducha está bien ventilada, es cómoda e independiente del baño, lo cual es práctico.

• Lori (4/5): The stale air of the room made my stay unpleasant. I was happy to leave. - Receptionist was very friendly. Location was perfect for my needs. The room was very musty and it seemed like it was not well ventilated. I tried to get some fresh air in the room by opening the door to the balcony but it didn’t help. This was during a rainy period in June which probably added to the problem.
• Thomas (5/5): Cheap - Its super cheap, love the guy in the bar, awesome and helpfull staff. Comfortable bed. No room cleaning other then new towels and taking the trash out. Would be so nice to come «home» to made beds. Its clean at first sight. But when you «use» the room you notice nooks and crannies where it usually never gets cleaned. Also when we were packing we took the beds from the wall and found an eyemask and a condom in its packaging. I think we have higher standard then people on budget for this hotel. All in all its good for what the money gets you

The beds are amazing, loved the jacuzzi with very warm water, everything was just exceptional, would love to return to this hotel. Totally recommend if you want a stay in Kyoto. I loved everything, just a suggestion on the main bathroom adding a bigger trashcan.

The facilities were great and the rooms were big. It will be better if there could be staff stationed for a longer period of time physically everyday for easier communication. It was also quite a distance to walk from the nearest train station.

• Simone (9/5): Worth ones money and more ☺️👌🏻 - I really liked how the bathroom and toilet was separated. The bed was nice. It looked good, there was what we needed. We even recieved a coupon for a drink and a snack in the bar that's connected, unfortunately we didn't get to use it, but it was our plan and what a nice thing! ☺️ there was also a mini fridge with 2x bottled water. There was a kettle and 2 teabags and for 2 cups of coffee 😁👌🏻 we felt very welcomed ! It was pretty close to Niko castle and not too far from the golden Temple. I didn't like how heavy the doors to the bathroom and bath was, it looks sleek but were a little hard to like. The light wasn't great for doing ones makeup because it came from above you, but that is a very small thing 😁

The receptionist messaged me through booking.com to see where I was and stayed overtime to receive us. absolute 10/10 service Check-in/out - Extremely easy. Simple check out process too. Also holds luggage for customers Plenty of convenience stores around Otherwise simple hotel, decent room size with modern/dark interior. great bathroom and toilet. Location - probably the biggest disadvantage. Long walk ~600m from the nearest station Marutomachi (not JR) which is then another 10-15min to Kyoto station. ~1km-ish walk to the main shopping/fish market district Other petty things: Sound insulation - we were on the 2nd floor facing the main road and there's a hospital nearby so could hear sirens & passing vehicles clearly throughout the night. Poor room lighting - dark interior is cool but needed to have far far better lighting. was incredibly difficult to check our outfits/check the room before checking out even during the day with all lights on. Also the big mirror in front of the desk/sink is way too short. At 181cm needed to constantly hunch over to see myself

We found lots of papers and trash from previous guests under the sofa. So we guess they don’t clean the room properly. I wish they can clean the room everyday.

• Megan (10/5): Favorite place to stay in Japan, we will be back! - This was the most comfortable place we stayed in Japan. Honestly, one of the most comfortable hotels ever. Beds were super comfy, staff were very nice. It was small, but you don’t need much because you’re barely there. There’s a lot of food places close by and multiple markets and convenience stores The only thing I didn’t like was that it was much farther from everything than I thought, but there were multiple bus stops near by which made it easy to commute.
