Guest Reviews
- Shena (9/5): Excellent retreat - The property was fantastic! Plenty of room for family and friends if you want. Super quiet which was exactly what we wanted. All of the comforts of home in the woody mountains! The driveway to the property left a little to be desired, but once you got in there it was great!
- Taylor (1/5): Busted ball joint on a truck, almost wrecked a brand new Harley, (all from driveway), wrong address listed for house, an - The property was absolutely horrible!!! The address is even wrong, it takes you to someone else’s house. The sign they have out is and 8x10 inch pos covered by weeds. We couldn’t get ahold of a single person once we arrived. The drive way was a mile long down a treacherous drive way, with huge rocks. My husband almost wrecked his motorcycle going down it. He had his brakes locked up, and was skipping down the hill, having to navigate around switch backs.
My brother in law broke his ball joint. Any car that came down scraped the entire time.
They have cameras all over the property, but no one answers your calls or messages.
The place hadn’t been mowed in weeks, there were weeds grown up like crazy.
All of this happened the day of my wedding!! I was so upset!! Nothing
- Robert (10/5): It was a very peaceful time. - The house is very nice and comfortable.
- Colburn (8/5): We plan on booking again early spring to see the water flowing. - We absolutely loved it. So beautiful Wish the yard had been mowed or weeded. Spiderwebs knocked down around porch areas.
- Rita (10/5): very peaceful and the house is amazing - the house was absolutely beautiful the drive back to the house anything more than a 4 cylinder is definitely needed my car is a 4 and struggled really bad
- Grijalva (10/5): Amazing property if you like modern amenities in a secluded location. - Beautiful property, well maintained and great amenities. It is out in the middle of 32 acres so it is very isolated. Great, if you like that. Road to the house is pretty bumpy but not bad. Management communication was slow.
- Carol (10/5): We wished we could have stayed longer, a wonderful experience! - Peaceful, serene, clean and inviting. Everything you needed was available. The private road leading to the property was unexpected as there were ruts in the road. The underneath of my car scraped most of the way. Having said that, the journey was worth the trip!
- Texeira (7/5): Absolutely no communication whatsoever between me and the owners of the bnb. Very irresponsible and frustrating to know - We liked how quiet it was! Super pretty views even in the winter. The DRIVE after you turn onto a gravel path it was terrible. The path needs to be regraded and leveled in most parts. I cannot believe they didn’t put a warning that you need a 4 wheel drive to even get to the cabin. Thank goodness we had a truck or else we would’ve been stuck out there.
- Paul (10/5): I enjoyed the home more than the attraction we went down for. - I believe the most peaceful place I have ever stayed. What was not to like. I didn’t want to leave.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Beautiful house, peaceful views, would definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway! - The house is beautiful! Beds were comfortable, everything was really clean and the location was super peaceful and relaxing. The host was very sweet and super accommodating! The downtown area is really cool and has a ton of bars and cute shops to check out. Onyx cave was also really cool to visit and just 10mins down the road. The driveway is a little hard to spot from the main road, and since the house is set pretty fair back in the woods, it’s an adventure going down the driveway. It was definitely helpful have 4WD, but not necessary. There was a little miscommunication about getting into the house, but the host was very helpful and accommodating so it was soothed out pretty quickly.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Wonderful. Will definitely come again. - Location is incredible. Driving down the driveway takes you into your own beautiful private world. It's calming, peaceful and connecting to nature and peace. We really enjoyed hiking in the outdoors.
Home is clean, cute and quaint. It feels good. Lots of wonderful places to sit in nature.
