• Lesleyann Brown (6/5): - They did remember the balloon and prosecco We never saw anyone. We were not greeted and never saw the host or heard from him.
• Daren (9/5): Excellent place, fantastic host and close to many amenities - It is a very well presented house throughout and very comfortable to stay in - this was my second visit. The host includes a very generous amount of refreshments and is easy to communicate with. The drive way can be a little tricky to negotiate if you have a larger car or are a nervous driver but it really is a minor thing.

Wi-fi very simple access Not enough attention to cleanliness in the kitchen. Dried on food on worktops, dirty stove top, dirty oven, dirty freezer door (in particular), filthy dishcloth (put it in soak in bleach ). Just a kitchen hand towel, no tea towel. Cups with ring marks inside, smeared glasses and plates. Only one wine glass and one flute, one gin goblet and a selection of tumblers. Woken rather earlier than we would have liked with loud dialogue from the other part of the split property (owner?).

• Damian (10/5): Beautifull property inside - It was beautifully designed inside and just a lovely place to base ourselves over the weekend. We were attending a Subbuteo tournament at the local secondary school. The accommodation was very clean, had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. Lovely addition having the garden to enjoy. Kitchen and bathroom amazing! Quiet little cul de sac with friendly neighbours. Good parking. It was easy walking into Haverhill where we had an excellent curry at the Rose and Crown. Getting an uber was a little tricky so anyone doing this book in advance or use a local firm. Really excellent value for money. Thanks so much. Would definitely recommend. Nothing we didn’t like.

• Jane (9/5): Great place to stay. - The property is very well equipped and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed is incredible and we both slept extremely well. Convenient but quiet location for Haverhill town centre. Entrance to the property is via a shared drive that is a steep slope followed by some steps. Bear this in mind if like me you have mobility issues.

• Dave (10/5): Perfect, lovely home felt stay - Everything. Perfect little property and can’t fault it. Nice addition with the drinks in the fridge. No faults at all and the only thing I can say but not to be taken as a negative is there is only net style curtains in living room which lacks privacy and no blind in the bathroom.

Spa bath is wonderful to bathe in. Great price. Contact with the owner is excellent and helpful, You could not fault this place.

• Megan (9/5): Great little place for a mini romantic break - Property was amazing, great location to town and only a short walk to shops, takeaways etc. The entire flat (I'd say it's more of a flat or maisonette and less of a bungalow as there is an upstairs property too which has their front door near the patio) was spotless! Extremely clean with everything you could imagine you could need even including some spices for cooking and a fully equipped kitchen. The bonus of having sky/Netflix is great aswell as being able to watch it from the comfort of the bedroom! There is little lap trays and coffee table/side tables in the living room which are more than enough to eat dinner off of. Honestly can't fault much since it's so great but there is a few nit picks which could make the place just that little bit better. For instance the lack of privacy in the living room/kitchen due to there not being any blinds or curtains is a lil unnerving at night with the lights on, of course you are down a little hill on a dead end road so I'm sure no ones looking in, but the fact there is also an upstairs which has to walk past said windows makes it a little worse. As another review mentions you can hear them quite loudly at times, especially in the bathroom (most likely due to it echoing down pipes, who knows) but they were never loud past even 8pm so it's nothing to worry about, and of course isn't the hosts fault. Just have relaxing baths later haha. There is only a little kitchen bin which is in a kitchen cupboard so if you're staying longer than a night or two you will have to empty it, of course this isnt really an issue but if you're not one to want to empty bins then just a thought to contemplate. The place could do with a little bin in the bathroom, mostly for female guests to use or for toilet rolls (of course you could use the one in the kitchen but for hygiene and morality a little bathroom bin tucked next to the toilet would work great) Somewhere to hang up your coats would also be great, but appreciate it is a small place so isn't really much room to put such (we made it work by managing to hang them from the radiator in the hallway, bonus we got warm jackets when we needed to go out haha)
• Yvonne (8/5): A comfortable place to stay - I chose this property for it's location, close to Addenbrookes Hospital. The property was modern & tastefully decorated. Not having a shower screen, making the process of showering difficult & messy. There is a very nice 'spa' bath but we're not agile enough to use a bath & much prefer showering.
• Scott (10/5): Lovely place, I'll definitely be back! - What a lovely place! Next time I will check to see if this place is available before I look anywhere else. Even a couple of beers in the fridge (which I drank) I wasn't exactly sure where to go when I arrived as it was dark, but a quick message cleared that up right away. Maybe a description of how to get into the place would help as there isn;t a front door visible in the pictures or from the road.

• Rachelle (10/5): Outstanding!! The pictures don’t do this property justice!!! - It was super clean and much larger than I thought it would be. An excellent well equipped little getaway home. The jacuzzi bath was a lovely additional treat and the owners were extremely helpful from start to finish. Please take some time to gather some better pictures of this beautiful property it really is delightful and although I would love it to always be available to me I would love for others to enjoy this space as much as we did.
