• Emma (9/5): Relaxing home base for exploring Twizel and Mt. Cook/Aoraki! - Our stay in Twizel was perfect to explore Mt. Cook/Aoraki. The home had so much space to relax both indoors and outdoors. The view of the mountains from the primary bedroom was stunning! We cooked breakfast and one dinner in the home and the kitchen was well equipped, though more dish towels and a sponge would have been helpful. The washer and dryer were awesome to have to do a load of clothes (two packets of laundry detergent were provided). The expectation that the dishwasher be emptied before departure feels a bit unrealistic, especially without providing a sponge or more than one dish towel. In most homes I’ve stayed in, guests are simply asked to start the dishwasher before leaving, particularly if breakfast is prepared that morning. Limiting basic amenities like kitchen trash bags, shampoo/body wash also comes across as a bit stingy.

• Syarif Hadi (10/5): Truly an executive stay . Clean and Complete. 5 star! - Very clean and beautiful home. Rooms complete with good size bed and beddings. Washer and Dryer was also an advanced model making laundry job an awesome feel. The living room was huge with comfortable sofa and good AC. Kitchen was also complete and functional. The apartment is a bit further away from the Supermarket at Twizel Town. But that is probably the only factor. Otherwise it was an awesome unit. super comfortable , huge and highly recommmend to stay here again if you are dropping by Twixel.

• George (8/5): - Awesome home for a group of friends on the road. Nice bedrooms and great communal kitchen /dining /lounge area. Sunny with good off street parking. No complaints of any real importance. Although all in the group commented on the meagre supply of disposables (soap, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs etc), the inability to use the fire and surfiet of officious notices around the house.
• Tiffany (9/5): Mountain view, very well laid out property, cosy fire place. Very relaxing, comfy beds. We loved Twizel. - Great layout, warm, nice quiet street, modern. Great communication, not far from township (easy walk ). Really fun location for skiing. Large enough for two families. Needed a few more cleaning (dishwasher) sachets for our longer stay. Otherwise very happy with our stay we will be back.
• Muqtasid (7/5): The house is very modern but some of the arrangements by the host left a feeling of unpleasantness - Nice property, clean and well maintained Some of the host instructions were quite pedantic about minor things. They also had instructions in the kitchen advising what could and could not be cooked The main issues were 1) the amount of cutlery and plates etc was limited to the number of people staying. This meant that everything had to be washed as soon as it was used. It also meant having friends visit was difficult 2) The hot water ran out during our stay. This required a change of gas supply which was inconvenient. It's not something you should have to sort out while on holiday in freezing conditions.

• Nassim (6/5): Pleasant - The space is located very central in Twizel and just under an hour drive to Mt Cook/ Aoraki. It is furnished very nicely and the beds are comfortable. It iconics a washer and dryer, which are very convenient for longer stays. The management company for this rental isn't doing a good job of maintaining it. They are either not hiring enough staff to clean, giving them enough time to clean, or they are not paying them well enough to do a more thorough job. There were black straight medium length hairs on the bathroom floor in the en suite bathroom, I have very long curly brown hair and my friend (who didn't even step foot in the bathroom) has short brown hair. The laundry room and many of the floors were not vacuumed well, to the point that there were crumbs underfoot from previous renters. The toilet in the en suite had a stain on the toilet lid from someone else's use. I cleaned it myself, in addition to other surfaces in the bathroom with sanitizing wipes I had brought. These indicate to me that a lot of other surfaces were not cleaned thoroughly due to staff having to rush. There are gross little mites in the bathroom as well, primarily around the toilet tank. Also, the management company requires that you wash and put away any dishes used and sort/take out your trash. Kind of annoying for a place that you assume includes the cleaning fee with the rental price, and who doesn't do a great job cleaning anyways. It was only me and my friend in the house (4 bed, 2 bath) for 2 days, so one roll of toilet paper power bathroom was enough, but I think I would be frustrated if I was a family renting and they didn't provide enough for the duration of my stay. There is a note from the management company in the kitchen that states if you need more you have to get some from the store. The soap dispenser was empty as well, and I needed to grab some from the other dispenser in the other bathroom. There is no soap dispenser or towel in the kitchen either.

A special thank you for having the house pre-heated before our arrival – it made for such a welcoming entry. The location was perfect, with easy access to local shops and close proximity to Mt. Cook, Tekapo, and Lake Pukaki. Great value for money, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for a wonderful stay!" We had to leave. Very sad to leave.
