Guest Reviews
- Ahmed (2/5): The owner of the appartement didn’t communicate with us the code for the front door of the building so we sepend a lot o - The location There was no wifi internet connection
- Armin (7/5): annoying host, but a neighbourhood of opportunities - The apartment is close to everything necessary: bus stops, restaurants, working cafés, the beach, restaurants, fruit market, supermarkets. we really recommend the restaurant “La Bellota Extremeña”. this area in las palms is partly charming as it is inhabited by lots of locals, and people from many parts of the world, and has many cozy cafes and stores which seem like relics of the past. as written in another review, the check in process is problematic. The stated “check in time” is a lie, since this is only the time at which you can expect to pick up the key at another adress - not to enter the accomodation. the host showed no understanding for this inconvenience and discrepancy. The area is noisy, even with closed windows which can both be charming and annoying. This area in las palmas is partly chaotic due to high presence of police officers, graffiti and strip clubs. it is also far away from the old town and fancy area (triana and vegueta)
- Asbjørn (3/5): Poor - The location. Comfortable. The worst check-in process I have ever experienced. The keys were to be picked up in a key box at a different location. When I got there it turned out I had got the wrong PIN code. Nobody would answer the phone. After hours when finally somebody took the phone, they couldn't speak English, even if it said: For English press 2. I had to get help from a nearby waiter.
Finally in the flat there was no internet, even if it said so in the ad. That did not seem to impress the manager much. The internet was never restored. During the stay I was bombarded with lengthy meaningless emails in Spanish, 15-20 in total.
Bathroom was small, and shower so small almost impossible to enter.
