• Andrikoula (10/5): - Absolutely wonderful stay in Tangalle! Everything about this accommodation was excellent. The place was beautiful, comfortable, and very well taken care of. The pool was lovely, set inside a fantastic tropical garden full of life, with birds, monkeys, peacocks, and so much natural beauty all around. It felt peaceful, relaxing, and truly special — the perfect place to enjoy Tangalle. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it!

• Veronique (10/5): Un hébergement très confortable à l’écart de l’agitation du bord de mer - Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le confort de la chambre, la piscine et la qualité du petit déjeuner qui était exceptionnelle. Il faudrait assurer une présence à l’arrivée des voyageurs pour donner les premières informations car nous ne savions pas quelle plage rejoindre.

The atmosphere is peaceful and refreshing, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The Sri Lankan breakfast was exceptionally rich and flavorful—so generous that even two people could hardly finish it.
• Manon (10/5): Un séjour parfait et relaxant - Un hôtel excellent qui vaut vraiment le prix. L’endroit est très populaire grâce à son magnifique petit-déjeuner varié et délicieux. La piscine est superbe et rend le séjour encore plus agréable et relaxant. L’eau est naturellement chauffée par le soleil, offrant une sensation très agréable, comme un bain chaud naturel. Les chambres sont confortables et bien entretenues, et le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et chaleureux. Une expérience inoubliable que je recommande vivement. Ce serait encore mieux s’il y avait des facilités de paiement par carte.

• Mia (3/5): Unclean room with cockroaches :( - The pool and dog was nice. The room and bathroom really lacked cleanliness and there were two large live cockroaches in our room. It really ruined our stay and made us feel uncomfortable and unclean. Also, the breakfast had clearly been sitting out for a while and was cold and had bugs. Not worth it.

• Clara (10/5): Génial - La maison est magnifique, la chambre est très belle, très propre, avec des prestations de haute qualité (produits d’hygiène, serviette rafraîchissante à l'arrivée, serviettes de piscine à disposition etc...). Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et excellent. La famille qui nous accueille est vraiment adorable, très souriante et discrète. Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques, sans vis à vis, très calme, parfait pour se poser après (ou avant) une journée très chaude. Petit + pour les singes qui nous observent depuis les arbres. La maison est plutôt bien située, au calme de l'effervescence de Tangalle et très bien desservie via l'application Pickme. Il y a plein de restaurants aux alentours, accessibles à pieds. Une plage est également accessible à pieds à environ 20 min de marche. Sinon vous pouvez prendre un tuktuk pour aller jusqu'à Mediketiya Beach (environ 8 min) la plage est magnifique. Je pense honnêtement que c'est le meilleur rapport qualité/prix que nous avons pu trouver lors de notre séjour au Sri Lanka. Évidemment, je recommande à 10000%, sans hésiter!

Only problem we had was it is a bit of a distance from Tangalle and the beaches there. We had to cut short our stay but the staff were understanding and helpful in organising this. Thank you for having us. No complaints

• Julia (10/5): Wonderful Stay with a Nature Feel. - I had a really great experience at this hotel. The breakfast was very delicious and had a good variety. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, and the whole place gives a peaceful “in the middle of a forest” feeling, which I really loved. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. Also, there is a very friendly dog named Dore, who made the experience even more special! Overall, everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing getaway.
• Olga (8/5): Неплохой отель - Просторный номер с выходом на лужайку) Хороший завтрак. В ванной не было горячей воды, но была табличка про солнечные батареи и что воду горячую нужно подождать..не дождались. до океана далековато, минут 20 пешком. Но может это и плюс)

Their garden has beautiful birds and monkeys. The breakfast is amazing, yes its a lot, but we love it! The room- also big, clean, hot shower. The family are very nice people, helped us out wherever they could. We added a day to our stay (6 nights). And special shout out to the dog Dora! Nothing!

• Gina (10/5): Tolle ruhige Unterkunft in Tangalle - Schön ruhig gelegen in der Nähe vom wunderschönen Rekawa Turtle Beach. Nettes Personal, geräumige saubere Zimmer und das beste Frühstück, das wir auf unserer gesamten Sri Lanka Reise hatten. Man bekommt von lokalen Spezialisten bis zu frischem Obst und Spiegelei alles geboten ☺️ wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Eine alte Labrador Dame kommt bei Bedarf zum kuscheln vorbei 😍

Everything was super clean, modern, and had such a calm, chilled vibe — exactly what we were looking for. The room was beautifully clean, fresh-smelling, and very well maintained. It felt cosy, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was definitely the pool area. Relaxing in the pool while watching beautiful birds and even monkeys around was such a unique and peaceful experience. It really made us feel close to nature and helped us fully unwind. The host was friendly, easy to communicate with, and always happy to help. The location was spot on — quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. It would be even better if a bike or a tuk-tuk was available to explore the surrounding area and have a look around nearby places.
• Fabian (8/5): Würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen! - Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt im Heavenly Hideaway. Die Zimmer sind groß, schöner Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne. Das Frühstück war sehr üppig und abwechslungsreich. Sicherlich das beste Frühstück was wir auf unserer Reise hatten. Zur Unterkunft gehört auch eine sehr freundliche Labrador-Hündin, die uns immer freudig empfangen hat. Der Service ist freundlich und bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. In der Umgebung sind einige gute Restaurants, Tangalle und der Strand sind mit dem Roller/TukTuk schnell zu erreichen. Für uns war die Ruhe etwas abseits des Orts perfekt! Aufgrund der Lage ist ein Roller eine gute Idee. Der Strand sieht auf Google Maps näher aus, als er in der Realität ist.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, making it easy to feel right at home. One of the best parts was the brekkie. It was delicious, with different local dishes served each day, which made every morning exciting. The pool was amazing too — a great spot to chill and enjoy the calm atmosphere. Friendly staff, lovely surroundings, and great value for money. Everything was great overall. The only small suggestion I’d make is that adding a few more lights around the garden area would make the place even more lovely at night.
• Neele P (9/5): - Der Garten und Pool sind wirklich schön, zwischendruch kommen auch mal Pfauen zu besuch :) In 20 Minuten ist man zufuß an Tangalle Beach, wirklich ein wunderschönen, entspannter Strand mit einigen tollen Restaurants/Beach Bars. Das Frühstück ist super lecker, wenn auch - zumindest für uns - etwas zu viel. Unser Zimmer war mordern, sauber und mit einer schönen kleinen Terasse ausgestattet. Eine kleine Führung durchs Hotel/Informationen zu den Abläufen vor Ort wäre schön gewesen.

• Karol (9/5): Generalnie cały pobyt jak najbardziej na plus, bardzo miła i przyjazna atmosfera. Zdecydowanie polecamy. - Bardzo dobre i bogate śniadania. Pomocna i przyjazna obsługa. Ładny basen otoczony dziką przyrodą. Z takich małych sugestii do poprawy to bateria prysznicowa była lekko zardzewiała i zakamieniona, więc mogłaby być lepiej doczyszczona. Nie zawsze była ciepła woda w prysznicu.

Le logement se trouve à quelque minute à pied d’une plage magnifique et peu fréquentée. Les petit déjeuner étaient très copieux et vraiment délicieux nous avons pu goûter différents petits déjeuner typique sri lankais. Le petit plus la piscine qui permet de ce rafraîchir après une journée de chaleur. Nous avons tellement adoré que nous sommes resté une nuit de plus en dernière minute. Je recommande. Rien tout était parfait

Hotel ukryty w ogrodzie pełnym śpiewających ptaków. I największe i najsmaczniejsze śniadania, jakie jedliśmy na Sri Lance, codziennie inny zestaw😊Bardzo troskliwa obsługa skoncentrowana na wygodzie gości, z całego serca polecam to miejsce. Jedyna niedogodność, jaka nas spotkała to nieszczelna toaleta i niemiły zapach wydobywający się z niej, ale po zgłoszeniu pan od razu zaproponował inny pokój.

• Aleksei (10/5): Exceptional - I've counted only 5 rooms - we saw the neighbours at the breakfasts only. Perfect service, modern convenience (very quiet air condition), variated breakfasts. All in all quite new - furniture, design. Bed with perfect mattress. Swimming pool was great. Actually, it's sounds like 5 star hotel for adequate price. Not so close to the shore side. Could be equipped with fridge ( but I think it's just a matter of time - the hotel is new and in the process of improving)
• Żaneta (9/5): Good value for money - We were looking for nice place for resting after two very busy weeeks. Hotel seemed to be quite new. Our room had comfortable bed, AC,clean bathroom and nice terrace. The garden and the other buildings around seemed to be under costeuction. Pool was clean and nice. We had very good breakfast. Staff was very helpful. We had a problem with some noise - probably beacause of water pump, but they solved this problem. Hotel is located away from the city, quite close to the most beautiful beaches in Tangalle area (not good for swimming, but there is a part with shallow. To get there you have to come through another resort (around 20 minutes walking from hotel). There are the restaurants and bars as well. Low pressure of water- common problem on Sri Lanka. No coffee for breakfast.

The room was beautiful and clean, and the garden with the swimming pool was simply stunning. I really enjoyed the swimming pool and can't wait to come back again and stay in the suite once more.

We absolutely loved it and chose to eat there and have drinks there in the evening,beautiful pool, so relaxing, would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone!!! Great location as well!!
