Hermann (9/5): Ideales Ferienhaus für Eisenbahnfreunde - Das Haus wurde größtenteils im ursprünglichen Zustand belassen, der Sanitärbereich neu gestaltet. Historische Räume, passende Einrichtung und die Bilder an den Wänden lassen das Leben vergangener Zeiten sehr gut nachvollziehen. Der Kaminofen mit ausreichend vorhandenem Holz mildert das manchmal etwas raue Waldviertler Klima. Unmittelbar an der Waldviertelbahn gelegen bietet der Bahnhof eine Bedarfshaltestelle. Ein Knopfdruck genügt und der Zug hält direkt vor dem Haus. Nostalgiefahrten mit Dampf- oder Diesellok sowie Fahrradtransport im Zug sind möglich. Markierte Radwege führen durchs Waldviertel oder auch ins benachbarte Tschechien. ---
