• Jean Michel (10/5): Excellent base for visiting Athens away from the noise and bussel - Very well located. Very quiet. Very welcoming. The owner picked us up at the airport and took us back at a very reasonable price. Good neighbourhood away from the busy tourist centre but a pleasant fifteen minute walk from the Acropolis. Large terrace. We took the bus and trolley bus to attractions further afield using the easy tap and ride system. The bed was a bit hard and it would be good to have a standard lamp in the living room.

• Dave (10/5): An ideal base with an excellent host in a city that deserves more than a passing through approach. - Tasos was communicative, kind and supportive as a host. After I left he messaged me to let me know I left an item behind and had it sent by courier to the next location in my travels- above and beyond. Koukaki provided an excellent base for a week in Athens. Highlights include Django gelato, Wine with Eleni and Little John’s Coffee Cottage. Nothing.

• Yasmina (10/5): the best home in Athens - The flat is just perfect and extremely comfortable, it offers everything you need as if you were living in Athens, with a bonus: the huge terrace and free-range eggs from the host as a welcome present the decoration details but there weren't many and this is not my home anyway

• Emma (9/5): Great location, well equipped apartment with huge balcony terrace - Really good location, nearby many cafes and restaurants and mini markets - less than 20 min walk to the Acropolis. The apartment is well equipped with everything you might need including a washing machine and dishwasher. The balcony terrace is huge and great if you want to sit outside. Tasos is a lovely host.

• Uta (10/5): Koukaki apartement is the perfect base for exploring Athens - The apartment is very nice, clean and perfectly located in walking distance to Akropolis and it’s sights. the Terrace is spacious and perfect for a sundowner after a long day 😊 overall Tassos, the host is very kind, reliable and helpful. It has been a pleasure meeting him! We absolutely recommend a stay at Koukaki Apartment! 🌻 nothing to criticize.

Everything was really good, and we were extremely happy with our stay. - Everything was clean and nice, we had everything we needed and more. The owner was very kind and helpful with everything, and we felt welcome. The location is also perfect.

Location is also good and Acropolis can be reached in a 15 min walk up hills. Great cost Only thing to mention is the shower drainage that was very slow. Apart from this small thing, everything was great
• James (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment in a convenient location. Lovely welcome from the host who provided fresh eggs on arrival. The apartment is modern and well equipped with great facilities in a great area for eating and drinking. The terrace is very spacious and a great spot for relaxing after a long day seeing the sights.There's a great little brewery/taproom within 5 minutes walk (Strange Brew) that's well worth a visit! Nothing.

• Matthew (10/5): A beautiful apartment that is clean in a quiet safe location with everything you need. - Tasos is an exceptional host and the place is well thought out. He gave us gifts of organic eggs from his own chickens and some other snacks!!! He explained everything in the ample and lovely very clean apartment!!! The location is very safe and conveniently situation to nearby restaurants, food markets, a nearby honest and delicious bakery that comes highly recommended with excellent staff and prices. Make sure you look it up. The apartment has everything you will need, if you choose to self-cater. Hot water is clearly marked. The kitchen has a separate faucet for filtered water, though the water in Athens is safe. Thus, you drink from the filtered water. No need to buy bottled water. Pots, pans, cutlery, cutting board, fridge, options for coffee, including a Greek Coffee maker. There are supplies to get you started, spare blankets (if you need them...maybe winter?). The bed is firm and comfortable and very fresh sheets. Towels are provided. The view from the balcony was what my companion liked and how this became the place we decided to stay in Athens. The balcony is spacious with a table for dinning and beautiful at night and in the day. It is a relatively quiet street. We liked the fact that this was away from the heavily tourist crowded Plaka part of town. We enjoyed the walking and also picked it consciously for that, as well. It is extremely convenient to be able to eat nearby at a restaurant or pick up groceries from shops. There is a wonderful farmer's market that is nearby. If you want fresh food and an authentic experience, research that and check it out. The farmers are all humble, honest people and the prices are unbeatable and the food is incredibly fresh. You can buy olives, tomatoes, zucchini, oranges, lemons, cucumbers, lettuce, strawberries, and much more for extremely reasonable prices. Be respectful. I don't think taking pictures is appropriate at the market. Koukaki Apartment is an excellent choice and there is nothing to complain about. We found the location to be great for us. We found we could be at the Acropolis Museum in about 20-30 minutes of walking and we like to walk. We had no trouble getting to the sights/sites on foot, including the Acropolis and the Cycladic Museum of Art, which took us about 45 minutes. A good map is recommended. My companion used google maps to assist us, but this involved a lot of looking at the phone. We worked with Tasos to arrange a Taxi for both our arrival and departure. This was a courtesy he helped us with and you may consider asking him. I hope this helps you. We loved our stay and would book again.

• Martynas (10/5): Exceptional - We liked our host, his attentiveness, goose eggs in the fridge were delicious😊. All the main attractions were easily accessible on foot, we found many places to eat and enjoy Athens.
• Rodney (9/5): Quiet and comfortable - Tidy, clean and comfortable little apartment with a large veranda. Close to the metro but away from the tourist mayhem of the city centre. Lots of restaurants and small supermarkets in the neighborhood. The owner met us at the apartment gave us an overview of the amenities and later checked to see if all was well. Better lighting -- the ceiling lighting is very harsh. It would help to have bedside reading lights and to have floor lamps in the living room. Two sets of keys would be good. The keys are attached to a fob which activates the electricity. So if one person wants to leave the other is left in the dark, literally!

• Damir (10/5): Great Stay in Heart of Athens - The apartment is great, spotless clean, large size, large balcony, and all the necessities required for shorter or longer stay. The location is a walking distance from Acropolis and good for exploring Athens with bus and Metro lines near by. The street is quite and there are small ships and restaurants in the neighborhood. Tasos, the owner, was very friendly and welcomed us on our arrival. He explained everything around the apartment and even left some organic eggs from his own chickens. We loved our stay and we are looking forward to visit it again.
• Lacey (10/5): A wonderful home-base from which to explore the city from! - The photos of this apartment do not do it justice! It is much more spacious and if you could see every little thing hiding in the cabinets, you'd realize you don't need to bring anything but the clothes on your back! Tasos has thought of absolutely everything, from two types of coffee makers to filtered water to laundry detergent/toiletries and beyond. You could host a large dinner party with all the kitchen amenities! We also really enjoyed the large balcony, which was great for practicing yoga. The neighborhood is quiet (which was very important to us) and walking distance to everything; we didn't take the metro once but to/from the airport. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything :) There is a small issue with the circuit breaker when you want to use hot water. Tasos was extremely responsive when it went off the first time and told us how to fix it. One of us would just stand guard while the other was taking a shower so we could flip the switch back on whenever it went off. Minor inconvenience and only thing we could think to mention. Liked it all!

• Tarmo (9/5): Perfect stay for a small family! - Location wise perfect as many restaurants, bakery’s, bars and grocery shops are literally around the corner. Also the apartment has a huge balcony to enjoy the warm evenings. The apartment is very spacious and has everything one would need for a few days stay. The host, Tasos, was super helpful, welcomed us upon the arrival and also checked by writing and asking if everything is OK for us with the apartment. He also was very forthcoming by allowing us for a later check out than usual. Would definitely recommend Tasos place

• Sander (10/5): Exceptional - It was our first trip to Athens and I have to say we couldnt have found a better place to stay at. The apartment has a fantastic location, quiet area and walking distance to everywhere. Literally 2min to shops, cafes and restaurants, 15min to acropolis. The apartment was very nice and clean, with all the basic amenities. Aircon worked flawlessly. Huge balcony, no real view but that did not bother us at all. The host was also great. He sent us clear instructions how to get to the apartment from the airport and welcomed us at the apartment when we arrived 4hours before check-in. The refrigirator was stocked with fruit and juice. We also had a late check-out. Overall, no problems what so ever. 10/10 would recommend.

• Matej (10/5): Exceptional - Liked the home adress, Monemvasias 8, Koukaki, Athens. Hospitable landlord Tasos. Lift to the 3rd floor.and spacious terrace. Quiet neighbourhood, hundred meters to a buzzy center of the Koukaki cityquarter with tavernas, bars... Safe night walk with kids. Strolling distance 10 minutes from Fix Sygrou Metro station next to impresive EMST gallery of modern art. The location provides ellegant approach to the heart of Athens under Acropolis or to the south to the city beaches.

Excellent location ( near main main sightseeing attractions in the city, close to restaurants, grocery stores, transportation). Very clean and safe. The owner Tasos was very nice and friendly waited for us yo explain everything about the apartment and even left organic eggs for us for next day breakfast). We liked everything about it.

He left us breakfast, drinks and some eggs from his chickens which is a very nice touch. You can walk the trains easily allowing you to get to anything and walking distance go Acropolis. nothing
