- Victoria (8/5): Great house, big hit with the kids and dogs - we plan to return. - Easy-to-manage lock box and code system. Gigantic back garden with sound fencing and a safe environment. My dogs, being Irish Red Setters, go a step further in terms of investigating forbidden environments, and I combat this by taking a supply of pet fencing with me. They found something very appealing living in a tree stump, and they additionally body slammed over a wall that was guarding old rubbish and trees - thankfully without injury. Being able to gate these off was useful. Great environment for the dogs, as they were able to run and play together. The house is located on the 21-kilometre West Busselton Loop walking trail and is just 10 minutes from the dog beach.
For humans, this is a great house - clean, tidy, with all self-catering amenities, and a peaceful environment, close to all facilities and attractions. The swing was a hit with the kids.
Note for all abilities and less mobile guests: access may be challenging due to steps and the absence of ramps. Communication was good via email and messaging.
It would have been beneficial to have a dedicated point of contact throughout the stay. It was difficult to determine whether messages were being received by one person or passed on through a network of contacts/agents. This led to a breakdown in communication regarding access to the house to fix an appliance, which meant we were unavailable when access was requested. Overall, contact was very good.
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- Sirena (9/5): Superb - The house is in an awesome location, being close to everything.
There was lots of room, and the beds were quite comfy.
The yard was nice and big for the dog.
We loved the convenience of there being a few condiments, etc, supplied so that we didn't have to rush off to the shops when we first arrived. The water temperature got cold quite quickly.
The house is quite old and was quite cold. We had to turn on the heaters early in the afternoon to keep the house warm and cosy.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Very relaxing, nice and quiet, very clean and comfy. Dogs loved the spacious garden and there was a pretty wooded area in front of the house with a walk through the middle.
More than we would usually pay but worth it 😊
A parade of shops five minutes away was easy to walk to, there was an IGA bottle shop and chemist.
Close to main centre and activities. Nothing!
- Sue (8/5): A very homely place to stay. - The property was spacious and clean
Plus we had two bathrooms which was great getting ready in the morning.
Plus great aircon. The property itself was good, u couldn’t fault it.
I think the garden is in need of some TLC.
Plus it would have been nice to have an alfresco to sit at of an evening. Plus there are possums getting in the roof at night and disturbing your sleep with the noise they are making.
- Richard (5/5): Passable - Nice modern interior Wifi didn't work some lights didn't work
Grass very overgrown full of grass seeds for the dogs old bricks and rubbish in back garden
- Kelly (7/5): Good -
- Lauren (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (9/5): Great holiday house for family or adults group. - Lovely holiday home, clean, good facilities, good location for day trips to local towns also near to IGA & local beach and nice styling. Nice big garden for our large dog. Garden was a little unkempt and ensuite was a little small.
- Graham (6/5): Pleasant stay, property is comfortable but exterior areas require work. - The interior was finished to a good standard.
Rooms are large.
Large rear yard. The exterior is dated at best and tired.
The grass is very poor.
